Thanks for the review TK. I've got a cheap wireless (guitar) unit that works ok but there's a bit of noise that comes along with it. I'll have to look at this. It's not cheap, but it is Sennheiser. I have5 or 6 Sennheiser wireless mics (of various configurations) laying around here and I do like them. Built like tanks and actually pretty easy on the batteries (none of them are rechargable...old school AA's or 9v).

I would have liked if you plugged a regular cable into the set-up to hear any kinds of signal loss etc. Absolutely great video otherwise. I'm kinda looking for something that mounts into a rack unit, and works on regular batteries. I don't like a lot of the newer units that once the battery has gone past it's charging cycle you have to replace the transmitter. It's one of the biggest reasons I didn't buy the Boss WL-50.

I thought 2.4 gH is a very crowded frequency although not sure how that effects digital gear?

Fully charged transmitter will give you 3 hours tops....Not the 5 hrs advertised. I have 2 transmitters (one brand new)...they both last 3 hrs
It is the very best so it is good value for money but it is pricey at $380.00 USD. Trust me if you want a cheap one that has not failed me on any gig yet get the NUX B5RC for $150.00 USD It is good for 100'. My gigs tend to be small clubs where nothing but vocals use a mic so I find it invaluable to use it for soundcheck. I can wander the room and get the backline balanced and sounding great.
It’s also the most expensive one. I could buy 3 or 4 at that price! Lol 😳

I am not a fan of the Sennheiser transmitter form factor, too long for my taste, I prefer the shape of the Line 6 G10 series of transmitters
