Mathilda, honestly if it weren't for you, I would not have come out, and I would not yet be on hormones, which I just passed the 4 month mark of. If I were to ever come to Sweden, I would definitely want to give you a hug. So thank you for everything. I think I just settled on a name as well, so that's something too.
Some Good News: I am finally scheduled for the court date for my legal name change. To give this perspective -- for almost the first 60 years of my life I had no idea where or how to get help with transitioning. On the morning of January 23, 2022 I will have completed my first two years on Hormones. Thank-You for your inspiration.
By the time I had my name change done in court, I was already over 8 months into my transition. As of this past 4/20, I've legally been known as Daria. On August 1, 2022, I'll have hit the two-year mark.
You give me hope - and a bit of courage. Congrats - and thank you. I'm older too and have spent too many years denying what I am - despite having known since I was very young that I should have been a girl.
I recently came out as trans, I’ve been watching a lot of ur videos throughout this year and I’ll be going to the doctors to get the ball rolling on the hrt side of things, and later down the line I’ll be going for the operation, thank you for all the information, it has helped a lot,
Our family endocrinologist had a great sheet that explained what changes to expect, and how long they would take. For T, for example, voice change was fast - a few months - but muscle changes were about 3-5 years. Generally: think of the timeline of when an adolescent first hits puberty and work up from there.
This may be off topic but today I came out to what came across as extremely transphobic parents, however when I told them 2hrs ago they were so compassionate and supportive!
Out of all my relatives, my mom was the first one I came out to, and that was two years ago. She has fully accepted me as her daughter. She knew for years that I shave my legs, arms, etc. and had her suspicions about me for a very long time. She always noticed feminine qualities in me, even if it didn't click with her immediately.
You're literally my favorite UA-camr, you are so inspirational and beautiful and aahhh I can't - I wish I could go on HRT too, it's my biggest dream!!! I cannot wait to go on HRT already!!!
Gosh you are so beautiful. I'm so happy for you Mathilda. Yeah sure no persons life is perfect. But I hope you get everything you want out of life. You and your positivity inspire me to do better.
I like on the video for the hormones effects to advices on the started people in the hormones and Congratulations in the 9 years on hormones, ypu're so wonderful🥳🎉🎊🥰😍💖💜✨✨
Glad to see they didn't stop you speaking effortlessly! :D Fancy adopting me so I can move to Sweden? The UK sucks; current waiting times for the first appointment at the gender clinic is 3-5 years at the moment... :(
Again thank you for the advice and your a sweet girl Miss Mathilda.❤😀 and you help me to do better and confidents with my hormones therapy, I'm glad I found your videos. I love to give you a big hug, but only a big thank you.
I went full time 2 months HRT at 35 years old! I'm currently 4.5 months HRT I'm finally seeing my face slowly look more female, more and more often with no makeup I look more female. I do use a wig My hair loss stopped and I got new hairs just infront my hairline so that's a good sign, I only started growing my hair out this year, never did before. At work I wear no makeup and a hat I get misgendered sometimes but whatever I ain't doing guy mode ever again, ever!
@@fae_queen6788 be yourself! I wish I started transitioning sooner, I actually lived in denial for years then 'thought' about it for years more before I was what like what am I doing time to transition!
I started transitioning shortly after my 34th birthday last year. I already had long hair well before then, down to my mid-back. Pre-transition, people would tell me I looked like I was in a band. And I'm not even musically inclined (playing, not listening). My only regret is that I didn't transition earlier in life. I see other girls who transitioned young such as Jazz Jennings and Kat Blaque, and I envy them for it. I wish I got to do the same when I was that young. There was a time when I was in my late 20s to early 30s and I thought it was too late for me. I'm 35 now and have been on HRT for a year and three months.
Just to get an appointment for HRT in the UK is 5yrs minimum (and getting longer) after referral from a doctor. It's private, self medicating or nothing. Nothing isn't an option for most. To live in Sweden...I wish Mathilda.
I stopped having mood swings after amping up my Estrogen levels, however I was born an Intersex Male who was experiencing menopause which caused mood swings.
I've heard that the hormones can't do this, but it's difficult to believe it has nothing to do with you being so lovely, so tiny and delicate, supple and feminine. It's amazing! You are such an adorable young woman! Wow!
Don't worry about your English, there are many native speakers who have some trouble with certain words. Medical terms are among the hardest ones for many people to pronounce.
Native English speaker here. Medical terms have never been hard for me to pronounce, not even when I was a little kid. As early as the age of 8, I could already read at a 12th grade level.

So i just watched your video "Does it look real?" And you sayed that to get the surgery for free you need to be an official trans so how can you do that. Btw i am 15 and thinking on doing the translation for 2 years now
I heard a co-worker talking about a point in aging where fat sacs start breaking down (and sagging). Since people on HRT experience that puberty-phase redistribution of fat, would that breakdown not come across until later?
It started hrt last October at 20 and now that a years past all I can say is i can't tell a single bit of difference mentally or physically idk maybe its cause I'm overweight or maybe I just left it too late
it somewhat feels bad starting the whole process at 24 cause ill be 32-33 by the time i hit the 9 year mark lmfao, it is better late than never but my younger years are gone and never had a chance to be myself ever.
Haii, very nice vid!! Am on 2 months of HRT but my doctor recommended me to do estrogen without T Blocker. She said with estrogen only could reduce T level and more safe. What do you think about that? Thanks!!
