Transitions later in life may not provide you the advantages and changes Mathilda is speaking about. But there is a great benefit of maturity in transitioning later in life. The ideal transitioning at a younger age is great, especially if you have a great support system of family and proper medical care. But, transitioning at any age can bring you internal mental peace and satisfaction. I thoroughly enjoy the upbeat personality of Mathilda. Her personality is a gift to the entire UA-cam world.

Mathilda, thank you so much for being a pillar for us transgender ladies! You keep being an inspiration to us all. I was unfortunate to start HRT way late in life. So I have to deal with more masculine features much longer than you had which causes me to have some bouts of body dysmorphia. It’s people like us, like you that keep me striving for my goal to become complete with myself. Thank you and keep up the good work!

    Salutations, Mathilda!
I am happy for you, and that you were able to have benefited greatly from your HRT and your SRS!
I know of others that were not as fortunate as you, and one in particular that regrets that she had the SRS specifically, and is now warning those who are considering SRS of some of the dangers and potential complications, and her Doctor has left the clinic and is unavailable to her and others like her. She had done a fair amount of research beforehand and was well prepared, but apparently, her surgeon was not as skilled as yours and now she regrets having gone through with the procedure, and she is warning others to reconsider.
It is a great benefit to others, in my opinion, that there are some success stories like yours, to provide a source of encouragement for others, that they may see that there is a spectrum of different results with both the HRT and the SRS, and that they have a positive example in your experience.
I am very sorry that this treatment is not always a positive solution for everyone seeking this transformation, but to know that it is for some, like you, is an inspiration for those who feel strongly that this is potentially a path for them to follow.
You seem to be doing spectacularly well!
I hope you continue to do well!
I suspect that a large contributing factor to your success, is that you were able to begin HRT at such an early age, unfortunately, many others do not have that opportunity.
Also, you had access to a very skilled surgeons for both your SRS and your BAS.
Although BAS has many more physicians who commonly practice that procedure, at least here in the United States 🇺🇸and Canada 🇨🇦, and there is an abundance of skilled physicians in that field of medicine.
Thank you for posting these videos, and documenting your life!
Please have an excellent and awesome day! ☀️✨🙏🏻

I feel so much better mentally, even with less than one week of MtF HRT (estradiol transdermal patch + spiro). Namely, I feel a lot less anxiety, more mental clarity, and this wonderful sense of inner peace and calmness that I did not experience before.
On the downside, my energy levels are lower and I have less libido. Not that I have a problem with the latter, though.

Just a small tip. Whenn your testosterone (T) drops to the low level in woman norm and take estrogen, thann your body blocks production of T to a minimum level. And you can stop taking T blockers. Because these T blockers are mostly raising depression 🙁 So it is better to ditch themm ASAP. E will keep every thing in order. This is spoken from my personal experience.

Something that's curiously not common knowledge: testosterone blockers are not actually needed when on estrogen. The estrogen reduces testosterone production to female levels all by itself. Instead, using progesterone in addition to estrogen is a good idea, as it reduces endometriosis risk.

I kinda have to wonder........ if you had to put a rough estimate number on it, how much would you say it costs to fully transition? from the very first step, all the way to the last?
Like, I know, it's not a magical switch one just flicks and boom, you've gone from boy to girl, it's a long, slow, and very arduous process that takes years and years, lots of meds, multiple surgeries etc.
But if you had to add up the cost of all of that, roughly how much would you say it is?

I have noticed that most of the clips that I have seen on youtube, have been the young Transgender peeps, I have not seen any adult or later aged transgender peeps that have started at a late age doing these videos. I am of a late starter here myself and am currently not on any hrt at the moment. Should I be searching for other topics say, on the late starter side of things ?

      @ghog__ Рік тому

From personal experience myself, I started exploring being trans two months ago, and I’ve come to except it. I too was in that stage of, “Am I just cis and convincing myself or am I actually trans?” What I did if I had that denial is I thought about all the signs that I was trans. I thought about that it all seemed too obvious that I wasn’t cis because there were too many signs. If there seems to be a lot of signs you can’t ignore, then you’re probably trans. It took me a while to figure that out. Good luck on your journey and have an amazing day :)

Yep. Also make sure there aren’t any outside possible reasons like I saw on someone’s post. There could be a different reason you’re feeling these things. Some people feel dysphoria because they have trauma, and they feel they need to escape that trauma, transitioning would be their escape. Some people for example, there’s a tomboy, and they feel the need to transition because they thought being a masculine girl isn’t what they are. Some are just things like their body weight, they might be too skinny or fat and that makes them have dysphoria. So make sure you eliminate outside reasons that could be causing fake dysphoria. Also make sure that your dysphoria is both social and physical, because if it isn’t both, you probably just need to fix that part of your life. Like for example if you had only physical dysphoria, it could be caused by being too skinny, and if you eat more then your dysphoria goes away. Or if you only had social dysphoria, and you fixed it by creating a better social surrounding for yourself, maybe by getting better friends. Hope this helped you understand more. I’m also in this process myself so I know it is confusing.

@ But that does not really answer my question: Since every human already got a little estrogen and a little testosterone in their bodies (regardless of sex/gender) from birth, but the dominating hormones depend on the sex. Those with more estrogen are considered female and those with more testosterone are considered male. But is every human sterile because of that? A very complicated question indeed 😅

    Am I trans?
For a few months now I have been having feelings that I have been born into the wrong body. Some days, before sleeping, I wish when I wake up I’m a girl.
