NVM... figured it out by putting RS object tag on eyes in project manager -> Exclusion tag -> Override checked -> Exclude mode -> Had to drag in the SS object "Cyc" that holds the plane geo. Tried to do it with the plane geo that's inside the SS Cyc bc that's where the material was... but it didn't work. the Parent SS Cyc did work.
The modeling? 100% the lighting technique will be slightly different. I haven't used standard ever since I used redshift so I don't know how to achieve the eye reflection trick but you should be able to
Hey Effectatron, I just downloaded one of your project files(Redshift Looping Marble Rig) and testing the rendering it looks like it is about 1:50 minutes per 1 frame to render, since there is about 388 frames, this will take about 12 hours to render *and the playback in redshift renderview is way too laggy is this normal? Thanks Derek

Great tut as always Derek. I reckon the soft selection capability is one of those seriously under-utilized tools in C4D. Thanks for the reminder.
Thanks for the tutorial, Derek. Hilarious opening BTW! 😆
Insta Sub. Thanks for the great content
Thanks! it was that spooky intro that got u huh lol
@@effectatron no, it was you laughing while modeling the spooky ghost 😂

Thanks for the tut. How would you remove reflection of floor from Eye Reflective Material with RS?

hello! can i still do this with standard rendering rather than redshift? :")

@@effectatron aak!! Thank you so much for replying! I’ll take note of that ☺️☺️

Thanks Derek
thats the cinema 4d) this render time is normal, but depends on project ofc

How do you use the place tool?
it's on the left side in the tools and then you click and hold and move it to where you want it, then release.
