The guitar shown was played through a Fender Deluxe Reverb from 1978 and recorded with a Shure SM57 (left) and a Sennheiser 906 (right) . The backing tracks were recorded into a Fame Twin Looper. A Red Line 6 DL-4 was used for additional loops. Overdrive Sounds come from a Vemuram Jan Ray or a Greer Amps - Ghetto Stomp and the Greer Amps Lightspeed was used as a booster.

Played a Jr thought to 60’s and early 70’s. Loved that guitar and sound! Now play a ‘57 Jr Reissue. Love it, as well. Great guitar. Tobias tone and playing is awesome!
There is some great tone coming out of those hands, pleasure to hear that Junior, thanks for posting.
A very beautiful sounding instrument
I have never heard someone play a Junior like this. It’s so woody.
I bought a junior after randomly seeing this video without any background knowledge of juniors. Great, great playing! So misty, musty, moldy, and woody sounding. Little did I know that it's a famously bright-sounding guitar---but with a little reverb on that overdrive...it's something else entirely. Love it!
Absolutely one of the most creative guitarists I have ever had the pleasure to watch routinely 😊
but he is the same all video
Tobias shows what's possible -- but still not probable, based on the skills of most other guitar players. Nevertheless, it's easy to be convinced that you want every guitar he demos.
Inspirational as always. Versatility is in the hands!
Great playing!
Love the sound of the instrument as well. If I had only heard the sound I would have guessed (semi-)hollowbody.
I had this 57 jr. And traded it for 1961 concert amp.brown face. Wish I kept it. Still have the amp. Love the sound love his touch.
Bright AND deep !
The best 8 minutes if my weekend! Merci
Picking location and tone settings make a huge tonal difference. Don't need 3 pickups
Bravo Tobias!!
Thank you 🌵🐾!!!
🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️🎵🎵🎵 incrível!

Beautiful.
Probably one of the stand out tones T has conjured on this channel! Was this primarily that Vemuram Jam Ray ?
In another video on this channel he runs through the pedals he's used - think the sound at around 7 minute mark is the Jan Ray for sure. Hell of a player though - probably makes a lot of difference...
Not a Sennheiser mic expert by any means, but are you sure that's a 409? Kinda looks like the 906 or 609 with the visible logo...
Also - thanks for this video - have watched at least 20 times today. Fantastic guitar and amazing playing.
You are right! Thanks for the hint.
lake of fire riff?
My mouth is open, and slobbering 😅
I'd pay €3000
