The guitar shown was played through a Fender Deluxe Reverb from 1978 and recorded with a Shure SM57 (left) and a Sennheiser 409 (right) . The backing tracks were recorded into a Fame Twin Looper on the same instrument right before the recording of each video. A Red Panda Tensor was used for additional loops and sounds. Overdrive Sounds come from a Vemuram Jan Ray and the Greer Amps Lightspeed as booster.
Tobias Hoffmann is a award winning guitar player from cologne, germany. He combines the sounds of Jazz, Blues, Rock, Surf and some experimental stuff. Check him out:

I’ve watched this lots of times, as I still can’t believe how well it works as music, with melodic ideas running seamlessly in to each other, Tobias has a wonderful melodic ear that is a joy to listen to.

Vielleicht zur Verwirrung :-D Genau wie Richie Blackmores komischer Nagel in der Kopfplatte einer seiner Strats, der für viel Geschwätz und Verwirrung gesorgt hatte, viele fragten sich, wozu und was das mit dem Sound der Gitarre macht, usw usw. Richie gab später irgendwann zu, dass er das absichtlich gemacht hat, um alle zu verwirren. 🤣
