Man, "tasteless" doesn't even begin to describe this, and yet it's funny as hell. It is AMAZING what In Living Color got away with...I know it was 30 years ago, but still (yeah, I'm old)...
“🎶 I was driving down the block/ And my door was unlocked/ The riots broke and I was out of luck/ The looters in the street/ Threw me to the concrete/ I wish I didn’t get out of my truck/ I opened up the door/ Said ‘What can I do you for?’/ Because you know I’m just a country hick/ And then there was the brawl/ I got beat up by them all/ And then they went and hit me with a brick/ And I said ‘Don’t hit my head.. my achy break head I just can’t take anymore pain/ ‘cause when they hit my head/ my achy breaky head/ they coulda damaged some part of my brain/Don’t hit my head my achy breaky head/ after which my ears began to ring/ and I was nearly dead/ ‘cause no one ever said that they were gonna treat me like a KING🎶”
Absolutely brilliant. This is the style of comedy I aspire to. I would totally have this song played over and over again to the punks in the prison just to drive them crazy.
I have a dark sense of humor and I don't discriminate with humor. I find humor in everything from racism to physical disabilities. The first time I seen this shit on TV I laughed til I damn near puked. Although Reginald Denny was an innocent victim attacked for no reason in a riot, this was funny as fuck.
So funny. The irony that the defendants managed to sneak in a brick, and then in front of judge, launch it at RD's head just to re-incriminate themselves again lol!
I hate his politics but his impressions are actually amazing. From 55 seconds to 58 seconds that movement he makes is very accurate of many country guys when they’re dancing. I’ve seen many a guy do that movement but this is the first time I’ve seen it mimicked. That’s how detailed he is in his impressions.
You must not have watched much In living color they made fun of everything and everyone that was relevant at the moment. Nothing was off limits for them and they made fun of things worse than Denny. Comedy always pushes boundaries always been that way.
Love the line dancing by the members of the jury!
The dancers are killing it tho
This is better than the real song

I remember watching this when it came on and my dad was so horrified that they were making fun of this incident.
He looks like Jeff Foxworthy
I Know he looks just like him
But taller 🤣

In living color was hands down the best sketch comedy show ever. Too bad it had such a short run. Funnier than Saturday night live by a huge margin

How in the hell did I miss this?? 😂
That dance!
sounds and looks like jim carrys doing an imperdonation of aaron tippin singing a billy rsy cyrus song
Notice the black dude flings a brick at him & it bounces off his head! LAMO!

The sandy blonde hair girl with green top black mini skirt white shoes jury dancer is my girl friend, just so yall know. Pause at 1:13 for close-up.
I want that girl in the flannel.
liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttttttttttttt
Was this from a movie? If so what movie is it from?
This was from a skit from a sketch comedy show called " In Living Color" that appeared on TV in the early 90's.
great
😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🔥🔥🔥
I wonder if anyone knows what the "treat me like a king" line refers to
Rodney King (black man that was nearly beaten to death by the LAPD that inevitably led to the infamous '92 LA riots).
gg
why is the audio is so damn low?
Lmao so funny 😝
Where’s the comedy about bad issues now. Jesus Christ. Chill out world lol
HAHA
I wonder where the "funny" sketches are about Rodney King getting beaten? Oh, That would be "racist".
Stylensky Get over yourself. It's a fucking joke. Buzzkill much?! Smh.
The one where he and Denny beg ppl to stay in their car.
ua-cam.com/video/BxAVpuakkCQ/v-deo.html Its right here making fun of Rodney King brain damage
