That’s because T. Rex sounds like the Stones. The Stones are the godfathers of glam rock. Live With Me from Let It Bleed (and the live version from Get Yer Ya-Yas) plus Brown Sugar and Bitch from Sticky Fingers are the like a blueprint for the throwback yet forward-looking sound of glam rock.
The best early 70's rock song to be written in the early 90's. A great combination of T-Rex, Slade and The Rolling Stones. This was my favourite song of 1994.

The reason you have to love these guys is that they use similar styles to so many great artists, like the stones and Rod Stewert, the faces etc. just a great band, they truly produce songs that the artists never made.

I prefer this to any Rolling Stones song! I'm surprised Primal Scream didn't stick to this winning formula for a while and try and write a few more songs with a similar Stones groove. Would have boosted sales massively in The USA!
