This is one of the rare young musicians that can’t only play technical great but also a real master of expression - at the age of 10!!! All the best from Germany!
I don't know much about piano playing, but, to impress Lang Lang, you have to be at least extraordinary. I have admired Lang Lang for many years, but his gesture at the end, when he basically fulfilled the dream of a little piano genius, raised him enormously in my eyes. Fabulous!
Oh my gosh. When Lang Lang met the son and the son said "I was so happy", then the father looked so proud, with a tear in his eye. This is a beautiful moment and part of the reason that I have so much respect for Lang Lang as a person.
He is a great person, i just wished he wasn't such a flamboyant, show off dry and harsh at the piano. He is so humble away from the piano but so ego centric at the piano,.
Se how happy he was to see Lang Lang? It's so hard to impress Lang Lang and so easy to impress a boy. People might envy the boy for his piano skills. Think what simple things could bring you joy when you were child.
Pure joy and I love how he's able to carry such different and beautiful colors in lh and rh phrases simultaneously. The very last notes are so intelligently delightful too🥰
The thing which amazes me most about Lang Lang apart from his playing is all the things he has done to help the children into music. He has done so much which is unsung. A gift from the Gods!
Tellement beau leur rencontre !!! Le regard, le sourire, la joie et l'admiration ! Oh merci ! J'aimerais être une petite souris pour savoir ce qu'ils se sot dit !!!
Sum got more than what he bargained for: - Played on a public piano - Meeting Lang Lang in Person - Getting his book autographed by Lang Lang - Playing in a new venue in Manchester. Must have been the luckiest kid.
@@kwilson5832 I have a student like that. He practices 1.5-3 hours per day at his own volition. He was the one who asked to take lessons not his parents.
@@kwilson5832 My parents refused for me to take piano lessons and having a piano was out of question. An electric organ was the only keyboard allowed and keyboard lessons from a woman who taught keyboard and piano. I had to wait two decades to finally play on a piano and learn. So don't complain.
This is pretty standard playing for any 10 year old in music school or conservatory, it’s just people don’t hear them, he’s no prodigy, I am not hating or anything like that either, he’s good at piano for that age generally speaking… but it’s not exceptional playing for that age, as an example of what I’m referring to, here is a video of a 10 year old playing La Campanella pretty much flawlessly, and compared to what the kid is doing at the train station this is light years ahead in terms of technique and skill ua-cam.com/video/llB9rGLv_B4/v-deo.htmlsi=z0NxFM05BCyXPSo2
In what way? ,studying hard can be fun lol being disciplined..instead of watching Porn, childish videos about pranks and falling down if things, having fringe programs thrown in your face.. This silliness that westerners have that Asians or other hard working groups don't have fun. Is playing sports losing your childhood too? I would rather have been this expressive and hard working when I didn't need to work, worry about food, or deal with boring adult interaction.

Boy’s face upon meeting Lang Lang: priceless

And he appears to play with ease!
I love the boy’s happiness when he meets Lang Lang, aside from his brilliant skills of course. ❤
What a lovely little boy full of hope and talent. Bravo

To my ear, this performance was genuinely excellent and Lang Lang was most likely not faking his reaction :)
You can tell Lang Lang sees himself in the boy. Bravo, great performance
Well done. I love seeing those kids play but also to see Lang Langs reaction.
I love the boys very theatrical bow after Claudia compliments him. And the expression on his proud fathers face. A real virtuoso performance.

What a wonderful and happy little boy
Beautiful! From the level of skill to the reaction of Lang Lang, and in turn the beautiful reaction of Sum when he met LL.😊❤
Lang Lang looks like he wants to adopt Sum! 😂

Fabulous end when he meets Lang Lang!
Exceptional talent! Made Lang Lang extremely happy!😊
It was wonderful. Not only could he play it (technically), it was so expressive and sounded beautifully😊
This simultaneously makes me wanna quit and study 100 times harder. Bravo, what an amazing talent. 👏

When Sum said, "I'm so Happy" after seeing Lang Lang sent a lump in the throat! His future is set!
That kid is amazing! 🤩
Love his expression when meeting Lang Lang
just beautiful
Wahnsinn! So talentiert!!!
I needed the extra motivation to practice when I'm off of work this summer. This worked perfectly XD
Much joy, delightful. Thanks
He is amazing, not by accident. Can you imagine the amount of practice this kid had to do!
Wow, wow, wow!!!!!! 😮😮😮
Brilliant high skills... joyful to listen... ❤❤❤

Proudest dad moment in the world. Lucky the boy recognised Lang Lang - I sure wouldn't. The boy's joy was wonderful.
Einfach nur unglaublich.

LANG LANG MIKA
BRAVO ❤❤🤩🤩🤗🤗
Un génie 😮
How is this even possible at 10 years old?? Wow!
@@kwilson5832this works for those who are “gifted”, but as 99% of normal people, that culture is a disaster

Agree@@PassionPno....many children actually enjoy the piano and want to progress... supportive parents are the icing on the cake... 😊

Hard work and passion.
Should have won. If it was on talent alone and not your back story Sum definitely would have won 🌠
Agree
it's good for kids to see that other kids can do things that supposedly only adults can do.
I admire prodigies but my self-esteem is gone from seeing them
A genius kid 😮

Шикарная техника.
0:46 I think that girl has a crush on him lol
Wow
2nd Lang Lang in the world 😂😂😂🎉
I think it makes it sweet for Lang Lang that the boy is a han. Chinese are very race nationalistic.
Yes he is brilliant but where is the video of Daria. Ive heard many versions of Libertango but that performance really touched me.
Unbelievable performance
His dad looks familiar. Is he a HK movie star or singer?
A little Mozart ❤
When I was 12 there was a chinese boy that could play like this and it demotivated me to go to conservatory ahahahahahh
There are lots of kids on u tube that are just as good as him and some are younger.
All the kids watching this there, went home and put their piano on ebay
❤
❤❤❤❤👏👏👏🎼🎶🎵
What is Sum’s full name??
Sum ting Wong 😂😂😂
@@Thalbergfan1983 why do you laugh?🤣🤣🤣🤣 never mind I just got it🤣🤣
@@katrinat.3032 lol 😆
Mozart reincarnated❤
That Asian kid in my music class lol
All the staring children wondering what they've been doing with their lives.
1 Chinese child = 10 unemployed non-Chinese people
Pity Winkleman is so ubiquitous on UK TV. Can’t they find anyone else?
Cum se numește copilul?

At a glance at 0.08 I thought I saw Hong Kong Leo Ku Kui-Kei. 🤭

How skilled is this kid gonna be at 17 or 20, man? He is built DIFFERENT

Hope you are not serious….
Sorry but you are wrong... the child in this video is extremely gifted... his playing was flawless... dynamics were exceptional...
I wish they d shut up while the boy is playing
asian parents' dream
Where is the music. I only heare a race
The goofy comments in the video detract from the performance.
Doar 10 ani?ce interpretare si traire
Brilliant...but once Amy pianist starts singing I'm off...
Pitié, pas un deuxième Lang Lang !
Another Robot ! ...
believe in Jesus
Explain please. What has belief in another being got to do with this little guy’s spectacular musicianship? What does “believe in” mean?
So it’s today 🙈 Asian discipline meets historic German Musicians mind …. Germany is going down meanwhile 😢😢😢
Strings of pearls cast before throngs of swine. Lang Lang should know better.
The people aren’t swine!! They’re taking it in!
And you are the swine
Asians.
Poor kid got his childhood stolen!
