oh That little boy in the background, during Clair de lune, who is also waving his arms and mimicking playing the piano is just so darling and also there’s a little girl doing the same so so cute!!!
This guy has great hands. You see jazz players with those spider fingers. It’s really funny to,hear Lang Lang, of all people, say “this is too much.” The thing with Clair de Lune is that there’s some subtle changes in meter, dividing the beat between duple and triple, that gets lost when you play it with this much rhythmic freedom. You lose the sense of pulse. The piece is called Moonlight, and moonlight has a constant glow, even if the occasional cloud obscures it once in a while. His rendition, with the accelerating arpeggios, would better be titled “It was a dark and stormy night.” But he’s pretty good. He’s got his own perspective of this piece. It just diverges drastically from the standard approach.
pourriez vous mettre les sous titres s'il vous plait ? je ne comprends pas l'anglais et c'est dommage de ne pas comprendrece que disent Mika et Langlang , merci
Just think, in the slave states in the south back through the 1800s, black people wasn’t allowed to even read! What great things might have been accomplished if otherwise.
Damn those commentators REALLY ruin the series. Their constant inane, frequently irrelevant drivel interspersing the performances is like fingers on a blackboard.
disagree. if you want to listen to a performance, then dont be a cheapskate and buy a ticket to a concert. Lang Lang is a renowned pianist who has sold out concerts year after year, he is certainly qualified to talk about other pianists performances, thank you very much.
@body187j3x1 Did I at any point suggest that he was NOT qualified? No. I simply said that he and the other guy really ruins their performances with his inane interjections. The entire point of the show, is the performances, which are lessened by their commentaries in the middle. He said nothing that could not have been said at the end.
@@Martial-Mat Lang Lang and the other guy, who you don't even know the name, are respectable artist in the classical world, and who are you? a nobody, thank you very much.
@body187j3x1 Ridiculous comment and utterly irrelevant point. If you go to a concert and Lang Lang talks in your ear all the way, how much do his credentials matter if you're there to listen to the music? Do better. Try logic next time.
@body187j3x1 It's a shame in the sense he should keep standard high, not be forced to say nice things about mediocre pianists because everyone is watching.
Lang Lang been doing this for 20 years, he has proven he is amazing pianist, otherwise he wouldnt have had sold out concerts every year for the past 20 years, people love it.
Love the little Girls in the background! She is completely engaged in the music.

In Africa blacks weren't slaves. Where are the great things.
I wish those two guys just shut up and let us hear

Is this what Lang Lang does now? He got tired of being a piano god and is now commenting on random mortals playing?
Lang Lang is a very approachable pianist, thats why he is so popular in the first place.
Affligeant ! Pathétique.
You are pathetic
Shame that Lang lang is reduced to this
