I am sorry to hear about the Jobs, I hope everything works out for you. My Dad worked for Granger, when that store still existed, and it went bankrupt while he worked for them, so he got put out of a Job, so I've experienced first-hand how muck that sucks.
On the other hand, I have been currently building an entire large world from scratch, and I have enjoyed the project so far. I do suggest using T-Edit for most of the terrain, as otherwise it will take days for a single biome. I place outlines in-game where I want the biome to be, and then simply use the fill tool once I'm in T-edit.
I hope that you're able to turn this UA-cam thing around, so good luck!
I recently showed my daughter Monty Python and the Holy Grail, so when you were making the cave, she immediately came and told me "Khaios is making the killer bunny cave!" Great job, another amazing build! Even for just an NPC most people forget about.
As for the message... We understand about real life getting in the way of UA-cam. It happens. Your fans will still be here when you are ready and if you are going to be making more videos now, then I am excited to come along for the ride!

Good luck with dealing with everything, it feels weird to say this because of the situation you're in, but I'm excited to see everything you come up with! Especially the custom world, I am very curious how you're going to make it playable considering the variety of decor items you usually use, but I'm sure you'll manage.

Dude, I feel you on the apartment increase. We left the PNW over a year ago because they're absolutely price-gouging for housing there now (inflation isn't an excuse because it's not the same elsewhere, trust me). If you can manage, I'd highly recommend a change of location because the cost of living is insane out there with the only real incentive being the nature hikes (which do get repetitive after summiting a few mountains).

sorry to hear about your job falling through man :c one idea for a video or two tho (that idk if youve done already but probably have) is npc themed houses, but specifically for npcs from mods! maybe featuring or showing off how some modded building blocks and materials can be used in creative ways that wouldnt be possible in vanilla. people love seeing modded terraria playthroughs and combining that with your artful building could be really interesting to watch

youve been my favorite content creator since i got into terraria, around when 1.4 first came out. i found a source of art and creativity again with building, which i desperately needed, thanks to your videos. the big gaps between uploads always really sucked, but i always knew that there was a reason for it, so i went elsewhere.
ive forgotten how much i loved your videos when i was really into terraria. i think ill go back and re-watch a bunch of them. your content has helped me so much when i really needed it, and im so happy youre back just in time of me thinking about getting back into terraria! im hoping everything goes well! cant wait for the new projects that you, and i myself will start.

commenting for the little percentage of help :). all videos are good, id like to see more 'themed' builds maybe a series on like item themed builds, or class and subclass themed builds to make them more like a terraria playthrough build tht people can use, like a flail build for someone who wants to play as flail only melee and hve a cool starter base

I tend not to comment much in here, but I wanted to say I've been binging your building tips videos and updates since I started playing Terraria. You showed me the potential of building in this game and singlehandedly inspired me to create more than just a small square house. Even though I don't know all the types of blocks, materials, and interactions when using them at a build, most of my knowledge comes from your helpful vids.
