Love this instruction even though I’m still a beginner. It motivates me to “get back out there” (I’m 50 btw) 😊

Awesome video! This really helped me see in better detail the edges I need to be on when I’m practicing my ice dance steps! Two other things my coach pointed out with these steps are to keep toes pointed with extension on each push, and then on the swing rolls to start with a bent knee on the skating leg but then extend it fully as the free leg swings back.

There needs to be a "super thumbs up " or "double thumbs up" option to click/push on for this video. Like Netflix does. Julia my backwards skating has progressed thanks to you!!!

Outstanding demo of all the dance moves you did going forward back in February . . . and now backwards. I loved the perfect explanation, both on the circles and off the line. The circles are good to get a repetition and muscle memory happening, but the line half circles exercises are much closer to what happens in the dance moves/patterns that call for these elements in true Ice Dance. Marvelous video!!! Thanks.

Love your hair do, Julia. And thank you so much for this very detailed video(example , lifting foot straight up not pointed for the chasse and progressives clarifying the inner leg pushing with outside v. inside edge) I have been working on back progressives and chasses ever since I watched this video thanks to you and going back to it I reviewed your back swing rolls, esthetic looking!--I can't wait to try them⛸💛

Your videos have helped me so much! Just bought some Jackson Elle’s based on your recommendation. They’re beautiful and sturdy! What brand of skate pants do you recommend? I’m looking for the ones that cover the skate boots partially like yours, but the sizes seem so small.
