It might seem counter intuitive but small towns are actually pretty good for Forge Ahead books because of the way the World Generation works. There are a bunch of low tier POIs with Cement Mixers and Construction Site Boxes which ONLY spawn in the small "starter" towns.
The bigger cities have relatively few unguarded Cement Mixers and Dew Collectors by comparison so you're typically fighting against RNG and all of the other book possibilities when you're dealing with Mailboxes and Book Shelves looking for workbench books.

Early in the vid, like 0:45 youre facing the Wight(Spellcheck?)residency.
Theres a pretty big library there, and they have a deep cellar/basement/bunkerthing iirc, with some nice loot in it.
But the library on top floor is initself worth a go. dont have to do a full clear, could just go for the books
