Despite not liking Eddie Hall as a man (as I see him online). He is the one who allowed the thought of making a 505kg dead lift.

Every deadlift record that begins with a 5 will be dedicated to Eddie
I think a bit of a difference still. Not sure of Rauno’s leg and squat power. Eddie and Hafthor also had massive squats! And that leg power certainly always helped them even more in the deadlifts. Rauno doesn’t have the same huge legs as Eddie and Bjornsson, so guessing not quite at their level.

I have a theory here:
There has been bad blood between giants live/eddie and thor.
By gojng for 502 they accept thors 501 lift
By going for 501 the record wouldnt be broken
By going for 505 none of the issues above play a role AND it is a nice number

@@gretapunberg7052 elephant bar and deadlift bar are very different, thats why eddie was struggling so much, hes an explosive lifter so it shakes more, you should know that, and also their suitless strength are pretty similar

COME ON GIANTS LIVE.....WE ALL KNOW THERES 1 MAN WHO CAN DEADLIFT THE 505KG AND MORE LIKE 520KGS AND ITS THOR.....YOU NEED TO MAKE AN INCENTIVE FOR HIM TO CONCENTRATE AND PULL THE 505KGS AND THEN SOME TO REALLY GET PEOPLE TO SHIW UP AND WATCH ON T.V ETC.
Wont happen. You have to do dangerous things to your body to achieve this. Being 400+ lbs is a recipe for dying in your 50s. Hafthor is too old to reclimb that mountain.

I promise you usain bolt did better than 9.58 at some point in his training. It doesnt count. Only competitions count. You can maybe say the most anyone ever lifted was thor, but eddie definetly has the record. Even in guiness its eddie, not thor
