Gordon Murray is the GOAT of car designers
And when he wants an escort we know who he calls.
@@lensoprezole5322You think it's easy. Not at all
Just hope one day im lucky enough to drive anyone of his legendary cars. Hats off to Gordon
Definitely one of the top 3.
Normally I’d say calling somebody the GOAT is cringe, but I can’t argue with that statement
Dario and Gordon are incredible together. They have such great chemistry. A couple of absolute mad lads.
The seem rather mellow to me.
until you consider their day jobs and history@@johnd5805
uh? Dario is basically just putting in on a performance in front of the camera. Does not feel genuine at all. This is all scripted. If you thing this is real chemistry then I feel sorry for you. 🙄
@@jeffmattel7867 We feel sorry for you for caring at all about nothing.
Really? I don’t see or feel it, but whatever.🤷🏻♂️
If Gordon Murray is not the greatest car designer that has ever lived then I don't know who is. And a delightful man to boot. I'm in awe
It would be sick to see this at LeMans one day. Even if it goes into the experimental class like the Camaro did and not actually qualify, it would be wild to see how it does against the other cars
Imagine an invitational class with this, Zonda R, Valkyrie, P1 GTR, FXXK, sesto elemento, etc. We can only dream.
@@howarddavies136watch the GT1 Sports Club!
Sick? This isnt Eastenders
@@howarddavies136 thats what gm was thinking the fia would do but instead we got the regs we have now, which in all honestly are pretty great
I ran a 3:36 on forza. I'm top 10 in america.
The car is insane
The exhaust sound must be heavenly.
I never heard Ferrari talk about the engineering behind his cars, I've heard Pagani and Koenigsegg and even they don't come close to the depth, breadth and attention to every minute detail that GM has demonstrated for decades. Nothing is done for show, for example if (unfashionable) steel makes sense he uses it. Everything has a purpose. His description of the differences between a road car and a track car made perfect sense even to a novice like me. Dario guided the conversation perfectly, what a great video.
I'm delighted for the Lauda family. About time, too.
Absolutely. Nikki was one of the bravest of all in a sport where bravery is a pre-requisite. The naming of the car in his honour also speaks volumes about how Gordon Murray doesn't forget his friends.
Ja, absolut ❣️👌🏼😊
@@davidblake1663 Indeed.
Every time I listen to Gordon I realize that he is from another World, he is probably not human. The F1, the T50 and the T50s are the work of a genius that we have had the honor of having among us all these years.
I love this philosophy of building the best experience he can, knowing the performance will be there if he gets the feel right. What a project
Dario needs to do more tv work. He's fantastic. Love Gordon's ability to make something already extremely light, even lighter 😂
Obsessive - the F1 was designed around weight, or lack of it...the complete stereo weighs 1.2KG.
Agreed
Cant wait for the T33 vlogs
Gordon Murray soul is always in the McF1. Every time in his conversation he keeps the McF1 Spirit alive He just cannot Forget the McF1. The T50 & The T50s has followed perfectly into the Footsteps of The Mighty McLaren F1. Dont Forget Your Ancesters
I can't get enough of Gordon talking details. And Dario really grew in his role and they are the perfect couple now!
Some people will have some racetrack-fun!
i sure will.
I'm so proud to be British.
A master of auto-philosophical thinking and implementation
Incredible engineering and attention to detail. What a team.
This, Enzo FXX, Huyara R, CLK GTR and I don't even remember now much more of the really THE BEST cars of this kind, while it must be the best one(considering all the technology). I hope to drive one, one day.
Don't underestimate it: it will be indeed a track record contender!!!😊👍🏻
I spotted a flurry of hotwheels in the background a scooter a ford focus real enthusiasts these people keep up the good work😂😂😂😂
I love that you do these videos, because you don't have to. All of your cars are sold. You make these videos for those of us who love cars and may never even see a T50. You allow us to dream.
Gordon Murray is a brilliant car designer and an excellent communicator! The T50s is beautiful and has such engineering brilliance. It's amazing, like going back in time and forward simultaneously.
Could listen to Gordon talk all day long what a joy to watch the progress of an amazing car
I’ve been waiting for this for ages! Well done GMA team!
Dario and Gordon are a pair of automotive legends, so lucky to have access to videos like this, thanks to all involved
Most beautiful new car ever. T50s. Amazing. Now I just need to win the lottery to afford one
Now this I REALLY like. The T.50s
15.1 compression ratio! Jesus I can't imagine how snappy it will be with that CR along with the cylinder head design and ultra lightweight rotating assembly.
good luck finding jet fuel ...125 octane!!😂😂
@@lunam7249 I bet with direct injection, an efficient combustion chamber design, with optimized camshaft specs and overlap that E85 would work.
@@chesspiece81 idle would be hard enough....a 12.0 compression is a high valule, ESPECIALLY in terms of head gasket life span....many cars i have built.. 11.5 is really high on ordinary gas E85-90....
@@chesspiece81 without getting extremely complicated with GIBB-HELHOLTZ ENTROPY CURVES, the trade off between stroke and bore vs Cratio, get wierd above 12.0 comp ratio. NHRA dragster engines have a life span of 4 seconds....a "street" car should have a basic respect for the buyer of 25000 miles at least...
@lunam7249 They said several times this is a track car.
everything about this i love, he had a vision and made it , high rev v12 ,center position , light , such a sleek car but if you look closer you see the rougher edges, its build not fabricated . a true enthusiastic car
The design and absolute transparency that these videos bring is on another level and so pleasing
I don't watch a lot of supercar videos because I'll never financially be able to own one, but I always enjoy GMA and Koenigsegg cars because the engineering is just incredible.
This video is like the Professor showing off the answer key to the entire class and just daring them to try to copy it.😉
The Ultimate Racing Machine. Just incredible to look at. Can't wait to see it on the track.
Masterpiece of a genius and a visionary man
That car has a Le Mans racecar look to it. Pure purpose. I like it.
In my favourite colour the T50S looks so stunning. WOW 👌🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻 well done to everyone at GMA. Gordon, you just never cease to surprise. Well done it is just out of this world.👍🏻🇬🇧ADAM AKA AZZY N BOW 🐕 👊🏻
I had high hopes for this but even those were blown out of the water.
Who adds 100hp and removes 100 kilos from any car let alone one already so light and powerful 🤯
My thought was: 100kg? From where? How? Impressive.
@@Outland9000 What if the T.50 street version was deliberately 100 kg too much weight and the track version had those extra kilos removed. :)
It's all about Add & Delete. On the track car there is no air con, hifi, much less spoundproofing. Also smaller wheels (forged magnesium) , side windows are plastic etc...and the engine with exhaust and intake is 28kg's lighter, and the gearbox is 5kg's lighter.
But you also add a big wing and splitters and all other small parts that add weight, but still get 100kg's lighter car after that :)
@@lensoprezole5322koenigsegg aren’t a little name in the automotive industry despite making a small amount of cars for the super rich. Plenty of other lightweight mass produced cars out there to buy if you want one
@@lensoprezole5322let me just repeat that again as I’m flabbergasted after reading that..”Gordon Murray will always stay a little name” 😂😂😂😂 stay away from commenting or in fact watching anything to do with this man or cars for that matter, plonker!!
Stunning beauty!! GMA designs cars like no other without all the unnecessary stuff that has no relevance to the real purpose of cars - driving. They show the world how much you don't need in a car and still make the best driving machines on the planet.
Merry Christmas to the whole GMA team and thank you for building the Ultimate No.1 Car.❤
This video was filmed in September 😉😉
Lovely to see Ron Dennis get a gong in 2023. I'd be happy to see Gordon's similarly massive impact on British motorsport honoured, too.
If T.50 is the most special road car, then this is special special special. The Siren makes more sense each day passing, this is a mythological kind of car.
Wow! What can you say? Just incredible quality and attention to detail. GMA’s cars are on another level!
I think the extra bits and pieces make it look nicer than the normal T50. Very cool.
That is a jaw dropper.. wow
Stunning, can't wait to see it at speed.
Prof. Murray going double legend with this thing. The F1 road car to the GTR was a cool step up, but, now that he gets to do it all over again, the jump to the T.50s is simply unreal. I cannot wait to see and HEAR this on track!!
What a beautiful car and so nice to see a track version of that wonderful original F1 design from all those years ago. I remember so well at the time Niki Lauda with a grin on his face telling the interviewer what a good job the fan did in cooling the engine!!
BRINGS A TEAR TO THE EYE THIS VERSION 😢 😪 😭
The lateral/braking Gs are absolutely insane.
T.50 was really cool and this is even more so. I think I like the look of T.33 the best but that said, hope I'm lucky enough to see and hear one of them, once.
If I were ask if I could pick any car I would choose this. I love the vision of this car!
It’s an amazing vehicle, truly spectacular. What was music to my ears was his commitment to building a car to be driven, not worried about 0-60 or track times, simply for driver enjoyment. Outstanding!
Outstanding! Can’t wait to hear the sound of that V-12
Merry Christmas GMA!
This is Automobile & Car Racing Royalty and Authority and History in the making. A video for the posterity.. What an immense privilege you have given to all of us car enthusiasts regardless if only a few will have the pleasure of driving a GMA car. Thank you.
i hope i meet someone that has this car to be a passenger for 1 thrill ride.
The only thing i can afford in the video is the WD40 at the back. Hahahaha thank you for the video, I've been waiting for this one!
This race version looks stunning 💯🔥
i would love to see this on a track & in some of my racing games.
For what Murray has done in automotive it's surprising how humble he is where others would gloat about what their accomplishments. i would LOVE to be a passenger in this car for 1 thrill ride but i would need to wear "depends" so not to soil the seat.
Bloody outstanding
Thank you for the NACA ducts! Lovely retro touch.
The sound man, the sound...
It’s like the T50 was made for the T50s, just stunning!
Fabulous colour
Automotive engineering perfection. There will never be a better internal combustion engine automobile for as long as we live. Congrats Mr. Murray. Your hard work has paid off.
Is this the rise of a new Ferrari. This will be regarded as the ultimate drivers car ever produced instant legend
You can see the trademarks of the McLaren F1 in the T50 design.
He just knows what he’s doing and what he wants from the car. Murray’s cars always look direct and the performance just oozes.
I could listen to this all day long!
Pagani, Gordon, and Koenigseeg the best car designers alive in my opinion
Carpow…yet another beautiful bit of engineering from Gordon Murray and team!👍🏻
This is surely one of a kind
OH WHOW ❣️😲
What a beautiful piece of art ❕👌🏼
I love it
Nikki Lauda will be proud that this car took his name.
He looks down from heaven and smiles... I'm sure 😃
Love from Berlin 🇩🇪
And thanks,
Ramsi 😘 🙋🏻♂️
*Niki Lauda
i bet he wants to come back to earth to race this beauty !
Classic British artistry, engineering and eccentricity.
What could Britain have become had we not been saddled with Europe for the last 50 years?
Both are the best analog geeks of the Automotive Industry.
what a gorgeous machine! Well done, all.
Christ, the stands it's on are a work of art in themselves.
I noticed them too. If I saved up, I could get some for my year 2000 Volvo. Then I could re-badge it as a GMA V-40! Brilliant!
We DO love the details. Fantastic color as well
Magnificent. Michelangelo of spots cars creates yet another master piece. Thank you Mr. Murray.
AWESOME !!!!!!!
If GMA ever want to race this thing up a proper Hill we can arrange the venue 😏 Hearing this thing reverberate would make for the ultimate soundtrack...
Send an invite to their press team and I'm sure it would make a lot of people happy to see it!
There must be somebody of racing teams, who can get themselves those T.50s for racing. I will root for them as such as for Professor Murray and his team))
That beast MUST BE UNLEASHED on any race!
T50S wouldn't fit in any racing category, it's too light.
Just astonishing engineering. No one does it better.
Gordon is here to make history once more!
Really enjoying this journey 😊😊
Piece of art. Missing words.
Just amazing... no words for this master piece
This thing is awesome, just thick the T50, but my dream for a road version would be the body work of the T50s on the T50. Best of both worlds.
What a machine! Congrats to all involved 👏
Brilliant video. Thanks so much.
Such a joy to see world class experts getting to live out their dreams, there's a real chemistry and sense of excitement to these videos. Oh, and if you want to break the Internet, why not give Sandy Munro a factory tour?
The Last Masterpiece ❤
What a masterpiece! Gordon is a pioneer in the industry with the courage to make a car the way he thinks it should be designed. An absolute dream car. What a machine!!
Superb.
Love a build with no restrictions, and the genius engineering. And this has much visual appeal than the roads going T50 IMO. Bravo!
That top down view is absolutely sublime. 👀
It’s great to finally get a true spiritual successor to the McLaren F1
That there is as close to maximum fun with yer clothing on, as it gets. What a machine. Absolutely incredible engineering\ Automotive art.
I respect Koenigsegg for the 13 million horsepower and the 53 speed gearbox. I respect Pagani for the gorgeous styling.
But those cars are as heavy as BLEEP for what they should be. You can always try to mask weight but you are always reminded that it is there.
And when everything is said and done, when everyone moves to electric, nobody will buy an old combustion car because of its power or its 0-60.
No. By then what will matter is if it gives you a smile or not.
A light, nimble, analogue, central driving position, 12000RPM scream will certainly produce that confident, pure smile of approval. That warm handshake between man and machine, which is forever becoming extinct.
These cars are straight up works of fine art but the T50s is something else.......out of this world 🌎
Stunning design. Wow!
In fact it's so beautiful that it makes my heart hurt. I mean that.
How do people make such beautiful things?
Gordon is my favourite youtuber 🥰
