Great review, thanks for posting. The Ia and 109 E-3 were the first premium planes I bought, when they were sold as a package without their pilots last fall (2020). They were also my first, or nearly first, Tier 5. I loved them initially, but in the case of the E-3, once I got the tech tree E and spec'd it, well, there's no comparison IMO. Ironically, I did fly the 109 E-3 (I've now acquired the special pilots) a while back, but that was during the weekend missions for the 5 Skill German pilot, and I was looking to replenish my stash of credits :)

I like Spitfires, maneuverability, dogfight and machineguns. This Spitfire Mk. Ia really worth it... for me))
If you have Charles Donovan, it's a beast, particularly at battle tier 5. If you don't, the guns are a bit lacking, but it's still a fun airframe.
It depends, Noble. We already spoke about my preference 109 build. I tend to amplify the strongest characteristics of planes with equipment. For the 109 that is speed.
While I certainly miss the hub-cannon on the E3, I managed to get the cruise speed on that plane up to over 540 kph, while on the tech tree plane it is around 510. That performance gap, at least in my opinion, outweighs the ommision of one gun.
Thank you for those excellent and informative comments. It shows that there is more than one way to build this plane and in this case there's every chance your build is a better idea, especially if you're good at high energy fighting.
I bought both. Played the Spit Ia with Tornado special pilot (in order to gain skill points) and works fine, but specialized T5 Zero beat me. 109 e3 is like you say, not comparable to 109E from tech tree. Excellent video, greetings from Argentina!

Love the content you made bc not really much videos about this game. But I have a question how you can highlight the gun trail like that, are there options or mod to have that. Thanks you
There are mods that change the trails of your shells and bullets, which can be found, for example, in the Dr Sinister modpack, Aslain's new modpack and in the Grandpa collection that is listed on the NA forum. However, I don't use any mods for that purpose these days, deciding eventually that I found them distracting.

@@TheMrmrdno Unfortunately, I think if you have the pilots already and buy this bundle they are treated as "bonus" items. I don't think you'll receive any compensation for them.
