- Now with graphs! We already reviewed this plane but there was a request to get another with the graphs. This plane has almost never let me down. As a turn fighter this craft has few competitors at this tier for turn time. Add good guns and high top speed and you have a platform that can get the job done in some of the most highly contested zones.

Funny, I always feel that it has weak guns that often can't quite get the job done, particularly since I started Yak-15 alongside the incredible I-250. Yak-15's strongest point is that it can quickly shred the ADA fighters, but it often struggles to take that last bit of HP off of the "enemy team" planes before they get away. The Yak-3's lack of speed was a low point in that line, but I enjoyed the rest of them. The Ki-84 has a lot more firepower, since you mentioned it.
Yikes that was a great match! Good tips too. I love the yak-15 when I don't have to fly from sector to sector. It certainly excels at sector defense

John Cisneros your the reason I want to try a speed build. If you can catch a Ho 229 without a speed build it makes me wonder what it would be like with one

Going to try the speed build and see how it goes. Mine's all maneuverability and can struggle catching up to faster planes...thanks for the tip!

@@Veebat Ok, thanks for the fair warning. Mostly mine was mothballed, so this may spring more life into it and start me playing it again.
@@Veebat now I remember why I mothballed it over others. It's those guns. You cannot one pass and expect a kill. It takes at least two and leaves you vulnerable.

Just not a fan of that YAK line up to the Yak 19, that thing is balls. I liked the Mig line pretty well, the Mig- 3 to me is like an American fighter (and that's a good thing to me).
Joseph Hacker agreed on the fighter class. I prefer altitude and speed over most things. The Yak 15 is just at that edge that it’s speed doesn’t bug me too much
