You're right, there is definitely a lot of rattle from that area and wind noise. Luckily, those are easy areas to cut by yourself (it's mainly just cutting rectangles from the material until it covers the entire surface). We'd recommend our SoundSkins Classic for the roof: soundskinsglobal.com/collections/classic/products/soundskins-classic-bulk-kit-stealth-black And SoundSkins Foam Tape to seal the vehicle off from wind noise: soundskinsglobal.com/collections/foam-deadening-products/products/soundskins-foam-tape-soundskins-global
Guys the Gladiator sound problem comes from the roof that is plastic without anything clothing it! not the rest of the car that has door panels or door mats on! For gods sake Insulate the roof and measure again
Ya I have seen some people do reviews on sound deadening kits for everything but their roof and complain that there was no difference in sound... Roof is by far the biggest issue as you said.
I can confirm this. My gladiator isn’t very loud when parked. But when on the open road, it’s the loudest vehicle I’ve ever driven, and 99% of that noise is from the top not being insulated. It’s just bare top, so I’m sure with top insulation of any kind like a normal vehicle having headliners, that would make the biggest impact on sound/noise.
This does nothing, the trick is to add edge door weatherstrips to keep exterior noise down.. the noise is because of lack of weatherstripping on jeeps not from inside doors..
Nope. Not spending my hard earned money on this piece of junk Jeep just to have to spend countless hours ripping it apart to install sound deadening material so it is still too noisy to be considered anywhere near comfortable.

Very surprised that there's no soundproofing of the roof which would make even more difference I suspect
mopar offers an oem solution for this. but not for the doors like SoundSkins has.
This video makes me want to take my jeep to a mechanic/tint shop and pay them to take the doors apart. It's truly a pain in the ASS.
It is definitely a lot of work!
How does this hold up to water/moisture? Just thinking about when the top is off the Jeep and it gets a little rained on.
Our material and adhesive is made to withstand moisture, it is made with closed cell foam and replaces the vapor barrier when installed on car doors.
This is awesome. But roof insulation must be first.

Will it insulate heat as well ? If not what product can be added to it to reduce heat ? Thanks
Hello, yes our product has some heat insulation properties. It has an R value of 3.12
This product is insulating heat and sound ?
Yes, that's correct!
What is the typical install cost for a wrangler 4 door full doors and floor?
Hi Travis, we're not sure as we are not a car installation shop. You should contact your local installers to get an accurate quote. Thanks!
No on the road after db check? Just at idle? Something tells me that was omitted on purpose.
You should finish the video before commenting.
Did you even finish watching the video?
Does he really think he needs to explain he is going to do the DB check EACH TIME.
He's very thorough 😂😂

The noise comes from everywhere. Doors floor and top must be done. Top likely makes the biggest impact, but treating each area gives the most benefit.
