    Would you PLEASE, consider providing us all with a long term update on this jacket? Im debating between Halo and Bogota Pro. Merci!

      I absolutely love it. And it's amazing in hot weather. All the venting is just incredible... The top of the jacket does rub against my neck, which I don't like but I just wear a neck gator with it and it's not an issue. 100% recommend.

    I bought Klim Baja S4 for the venting. But it was more expensive than that one. I am glad you like it.

      @@TallManMoto Yes i did pull the trigger on it in size large. You gotta keep in mind germany is still quiet cold in March. Usually 8-12°C on a sunny day. It feels like the Jacket is warmer than my regular winter jacket due to the fabric. However i will decide if i want another jacket for hot days in the summer. I didn't test it without the sleeves and open mesh yet. I will let you know if you want though.

      I've been a cheap-ass and had an HWK jacket for a number of years, which held up surprisingly well. I should have mentioned it, I'm in an XL in this video. It seems to be just about the right size for me at 6'5" and 220... depending on the time of year.🤣

      @@TallManMoto Just curious, what is your outer arm length 😅. I'm also thinking about buying this jacket, but I'm a bit confused on the measurements side.
      6'5" as well, but my arms are quite long 😅

    So I got mine today…. Everything fits perfectly but the inside of the elbow is super tight. Like borderline painful when I bend my elbow I’m beyond like a 70 degree bend. If I’m trying to zip up the jacket it’s actually difficult to even bend my arm up. I am wearing an XL and I’m 5’10” 200lbs. So like, this should be plenty roomy. If I get a size bigger I’m going to have like 3” extra in the sleeve length and the ability to fit an 18 pack of beer in the belly of it.

    Glad to see a review from a tall rider. Off topic, but what do you do for wind management? I ride with the windscreen off, which helps with buffetting but still really loud.

      I recently sold the Twin and picked up an FE501s, but I had a tall puig screen on the Twin. And I've had this jacket a bit now and really love it. Fits great and the sleeves coming off makes it so versatile.

      @jonlough3074 8 місяців тому +1

      @TallManMoto I have a 2022 africa twin and love it but wind management has been a challenge. I'll look into a taller screen. It seems like they need to be really tall to get the wind over the top. I made a seat pad that is about 3 inches thick and that made a big difference. Still in the prototype phase though.

    Nice vid mate. Just wondering if you can wear some type of thermal jacket underneath for colder weather or whether the way the shoulder and elbow protectors are done means it's not possible?

    • @TallManMoto
      @TallManMoto  Рік тому +1

      The weather has finally turned to wet crap here in the pnw so I'll be doing a wet ride test and video here soon... I will say the fabrics are so thick that it seems to block all the wind really well so I think a thermal under the jacket would fit really easy and be sufficient. Will update soonish!
