Are you sure you are not mixing it up with the Turtle Wax Clearvue water repellent? This is a plain glass cleaner only. It doesn't mention anything about water repellency on the bottle, nor in the online product descriptions. The water repellent looks similar, but has no sprayer.
turtle wax bought out a small company in Lawrence Massachusetts (lawrence/demers plate glass co) that invented clear vue. now that they bought it I have not been able to buy it in the u.s. it does have give off a strong alcohol type odor as the narrator states.
