This video is about how I got into University of British Columbia. UBC is one of the top ranked Universities in the world and is ranked Number 1 in Canada in a lot of courses

I have been admitted to UBC Sauder School of Business under the BCom Program.

Congrats on your admission to UBC/Sauder! I'm a current BCom student there and this video randomly came up on my feed. I was never a straight A student either (but also had that Gr. 12 pop off). What you shared reminds me a lot about my application experience. I highly recommend looking into the Business x Computer Science (BUCS) program if you're down for a challenge. I'll see you around Henry Angus one day!

Take the test. Any extra score is an added advantage
Do not take SAT for Canada. Definitely not. I asked University of Toronto and they said "you don't need to submit it. Even if you do, we will not consider it"

Im currently in grade 12(science) . my best of 5 subjects in grade 10 is 92.6 percent and also i was the primary head of school and i played till the national level in hockey.. Also i participated in gk competition as well as chess competition at state levels .. plz reply can i get into UBC ?

those are some great stats!
I don't think. For computer science they see your cs work like competitions and geeat knowledge of cs. It is not like india that person with negligible knowledge of cs can get cs. I was offered cs 1 month back because i was president of my comp club of school

You will grade 9-12 scores if you're applying to US, Canada, UK, etc for sure. Most colleges abroad consider those grades. They want to see your academic graph through the 4 year time period of high school.
But when i checked on website it showed that indian students have to send 12th transcript.

heyy. no sat is not required for any Canadian University. even if u do send your sat scores they hardly consider them

@@aarchipopli it's better to check with the UBC admissions office by sending them an email. but either it's by filling another application for scholarship and you'll be judged on that or according to your stats they offer u a scholarship and residence when you apply with ur main application only.

@@grewal9103 heyy so the applications for this year fall i.e. the semester starting September have already happened for Canada. Students have already accepted and are now just waiting for the student visa. you have missed the deadlines which were in December or January 2020. You cannot apply for this year's semester. However you can apply with my batch. we are your juniors who are starting 12th now. Please keep the deadlines in mind and finish applications by December this year to attend the semester for September 2022
