Hans Scharff was such a good interrigator the FBI still use his methods as standard procedure to this very day. The guy literally wrote the book on it.
I work for United Technologies Pratt & Whitney and I remember the hidden “secret” sponsor room from kid-hood. It was like a little snack bar inside the living seas. Great as always.
The black one owned by Colette isn't a scooter, it's a proper motorcycle.
That forced perspective room from Journey into imagination is still there too. You can see it through a window when you get off the ride close to the gift shop.

Dallin! It hurts my heart to know you never got the chance to ride Walt Disney’s crowning achievement Horizons! Ever since I was a kid I have always been an Epcot fan and when it was open riding Horizons was always the peak of my Disney trip! Predating Star Tours at MGM Horizon’s final “pick your own ending” was the closest thing I could come to as the trench run in Star Wars. That combined with the connecting tissue it shared with the Carousel of progress along with the great audio animatronics, and the fact that it was an original idea not a shoe horned IP made Horizons my favorite ride.
Epcot is my favorite by far, but in a weird, “I love it for what it was, and for the potential it has” kind of way
Thank you so much, Dallin! I love finding hidden details, but it’s also awesome to know what I missed. It’s good to appreciate the past and present of Disney. It gives so much meaning to the parks and keeps me coming back for more! Thanks for keeping these precious treasures alive to never be forgotten.
Loved EPCOT ever since my first visit in 1986. Used to live in FL and loved being able to go to EPCOT and Disney on a pretty regular basis. Always love your videos. Bring back great memories from FL and CA. Keep in up Dallin.
I Got to ride Horizons in '84 when I was barely a month short of 11 years old and then again two years later, and when I brought my daughter to Epcot for the first time in '13 I really felt like she was missing out.
Every time I go on Journey into Imagination I have to find the relics of the original. Just something I always do.

When I was a kid I thought EPCOT was boring. I still remember many things I learned there and will never forget my experience. Funny how kids can't tell the difference between boring and fascinating.

Epcot is actually my favorite park
Horizons was the best. I rode it half a dozen times in a row when I was a kid in one trip to WDW. It was glorious.
Epcot is a hidden gem. Most people don't expect Epcot to be fun until they go. My most memorable memory was when my son was 3 years old until he was 9 years old I would take him once a year to ride Journey Into Imagination and we would sing the song together.
I really like the Star Gate in the middle of the lake.
You know most of these secret things vids are things I already knew. But this one was very interesting. The lamp is really interesting. We all know the stuff about Walt. I never hear anything about roy. Give him his due.
About the manatees, I once fed manatees at a dolphin place in Mexico, ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE

We love E-P-C-O-T ❤ my most memorable day would have to September 13th, 2021 when I entered the park after my fiancé proposed to me the day before at Magic Kingdom on main St. It was the perfect day, we strolled around the showcase and had a beautiful time celebrating our engagement! It wasn't a figment of our imagination, it's was a magical reality! 🌈 🌌

From the 83/84 school year till the 87/88 year, I went to high school , and my high school art class had in its room, Disney the Art of Animation, that huge coffee table book by two Disney legends. And the previous year Epcot opened. Did the author's work on Epcot?

I’ve always been fascinated by the tile mosaics in the castle. It’s a must see every trip. Now thanks to you I will mostly see the extreme evil that created them.
For the record, that plaque for The Living Seas is legitimate: the project was nominated as a finalist for the OCEA award by the ASCE in 1987 along with the Caribou, CA Restoration and the Statue of Liberty Restoration, with the latter winning the top honor and the other two receiving the "achievement of merit" plaques.

As someone from the UK but hasn't actually been to EPCOT its nice to see the UK pavilion but like, you made the houses sound so shocking like :0 how old? when all those types of housing still actually exist in the UK, we just have a lot of old housing compared to the US. I look at those rows of houses and just think your traveling from the countryside into London, not through time 🤣 Those Victorian houses are still standing in London and you see many many rows of them all around Hyde park lol

Why would we ‘change that’? It’s a beautiful mural that’s been there since opening day, who cares about the history behind whoever made it. It’s wonderful.
Because this generation cries they want all this good change and act like they are the most opened minded accepting generation ever but do not believe that people change in their lives. Cancel culture at it again, i thought better of him but i guess hes just like the rest of this generation.

my favorite epcot memory(s) is without question Maelstrom (1 tear rolling down my face) although I get why there are so many IP's. As a kid I was less into EPCOT out of all the parks simply because I didnt see characters like the other parks. It seems like a niche group that is against the IPs but it must have been overall feedback for the parks kids and parents that they wanted to see more Disney characters

As much as I would love to see Disney bring back horizons. I have no idea where they would put it. Considering how large the original pavilion was if anyone is expecting it to be bigger and better than the last.
But I actually do want to ride Living with the Land with you, and take the up-charge tour. Its my favorite ride in the park.

Epcot seems doomed to forever being a half day park. They just keep closing one attraction to open another. I think maybe Remy's Ratatouille is the exception. Even then, it opens at a time a couple other things were closed to replace something else.
When you’re accustomed to Disneyland, every WDW park is a half-day park. I’d argue Epcot is the only one that isn’t because there’s so much to explore in World Showcase.
@@jacestringham7022 World Showcase is fine the first time you see it. By the 3rd time it boils down to 2 rides and a lunch or dinner stop.
