dpbrown64 I have a 2015 blacked out edition ram and with literally everything being black inside and out I want to convert all the lights inside to blue leds. I’m having a hard time finding the proper bulbs to replace everything with. Is there a kit available? Or do I just have to buy separate bulbs? Also can I buy them on amazon. I’m in Canada so I use amazon.ca. Lots of time I will use the .com that others have bought from and .ca doesn’t seem to have them. Any help would be much appreciated for the lights. I can’t wait to see everything in blue. Thank you dpbrown64
Kodiak WoodWorks - I haven't seen a kit that comes with all your bulbs. The bulbs that I have replaced on my 2017 Big Horn were purchased separately. I have used both superbrightleds.com and headlightrevolution.com to get my bulbs. Superbrightleds.com is a bit less expensive so I've used them more. I couldn't find any lights for the foot wells, so I bought a couple of small LED lights from my local auto parts store and wired them in where the stock lights were located and they work really well and look great. Good luck!
We have Tundras in our fleet for work but they have a lot of plastic in the interior and ride like a traditional truck in my opinion. These ram 1500 trucks are one of the smoothest riding trucks I have driven. Can't argue with Toyota reliability though!

Always wanted to change the light under the hood to a bright led. Will be looking for that vid. And i did the front interior lights since the flickering but only put led bulbs like the license plate ones but there kind of hidden under the chrome piece. Might switch to panel led and do the rear make it brighter.

I added tubular running boards, a Dual Liner bed liner, and heavy duty shocks to the rear as I tow a travel trailer. I have a 2013 Ram. Also, I run all season tires with a pretty aggressive tread as our weather in the Pacific NW is very different than SoCal where your truck is always shiny and clean! :)
Really enjoying your channel, great job on the vids/describing your upgrade projects. Keep it up. I have a 2015 RAM 3500 diesel (black appearance group) that I’ve left stock so far. I’ve been watching your videos for ideas, especially when it comes to lighting. Your approach to doing mods that improve aspects of the truck without going crazy is what I like to see. Your 1500 looks great to my eye. Once I put a bit more wear on my OEM tires I will look at doing something with a new wheel/tire package that adds to the look of the truck but doesn’t hurt my towing capability or increase highway noise too badly. I live in Northern Canada so we have to deal with different weather considerations but I may pick your brain a bit and, of course, will continue watching.

I was wanting to ask you. If I put headers and exhaust on my Viper like you did what kind of HP increase would I gain? Do you think it was worth it? Your channel is really growing. Your really good when you explain something.
Hey Peter if you have the 96-98 cast manifolds you will see a much greater gain upgrading those than the 99+ tubular manifolds. The whole exhaust system is pretty restrictive though so doing everything at once you would see at least 30hp and then more with a tune I would estimate.
When are you going to install the Diode Dynamics Switchback LED boards? I'm going to but wanted to see how much trouble you have opening the headlights. They also claim they have an LED low beam bulb for the Ram projectors with excellent beam pattern.

That looks like the older Intune I2 Diablo tuner which I have and I purchased 2 years ago. I know this is an old video but Jay Greene said I could use it to put in the trans tune but I don't know the sequence of events that have to take place. Perhaps the software has it in the tuner now to make this happen?

I think my fronts are around 20% but they give the appearance of being lighter from all the light coming in through the front. It's really personal preference but 20% usually looks pretty badass IMO 😎

How come you didn't add window visors? I went with 22s so I can have more tire and not sure about leveling??? It rides Soo good! Does it make it too stiff and extra bumpy on roads? Thanx.

Like your informational vids. I was wondering if you may know if the vanity mirrors have a fuse or relay cuz my vanity mirror lights don't work and I can't find a fuse for them in the fuse box under the hood.
Hey Frankie. The vanity lights under the mirrors are poorly sealed and I had issues with water getting into them on my 09 and ruining the electronics. I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing is happening to yours. I don't think there is a fuse that I know of. Just take it apart and measure with a meter the power going to the light to confirm.
I’m sure if you get the T1000 tuner or the newest tuner by diablo you can get Trans tuning. You could either get the tuner/tuners from Diablo Sport themselves or Moe’s Performance(where I would recommend because they are cheaper there) www.moes-performance.com/mobile/Product.aspx?ProductCode=9345

Boosted2k I find that weird though because the only difference between the 14 and 15+ models is the PCM that is required to be unlocked. Otherwise they are no different. You could maybe just get an unlocked 15 PCM and plug it in and see if that works. Just weird why it wouldn’t work considering the ZF 8Speed wasn’t released until late 2014 which is where they would have actually been considered 2015 models just like for example with the 2019 RAM it’s 2018 still and they released it this year.

If I had the standard radio I would but I have one of those kind of no name touch screens in my Jetta and it works but it isn't as fancy or mapped out as nice as the authentic 8.4 U connect

@@drippypapi4254 as long as you dont go to big of a wheel size or if you get a level kit or a lift it will work. I have a 20x12 with a 33inch amp off road tire and the wheels are drop star chrome 20in x -44 offset . Most after market wheel with be universal so the fit is definite. I got my from rent a wheel.
Yeah I think that is the only bulbs left to change out lol. I need to give the LED thing a rest for a bit though I think its getting to be too much lol

if u have sirius xm it doesnt use the antenna as reception, it uses the roof antenna, on the passenger side. the antenna is for local radio

Did the KN&N air intake help with gas mileage as I heard a lot about the oil affecting the sensor?
i have an issue with my ram it says cylinder 5 misfire i change plugs gasket and all the injecters and its still there, whats your take on it?

Nope no rubbing issues cause these wheels are a lower offset than stock so the wheels sit flush with the truck body.

De greaser dosnt have acid. It has buthol.when not mixed properly leaves a white residue .

Like your informational vids. I was wondering if you may know if the vanity mirrors have a fuse or relay cuz my vanity mirror lights don't work and I can't find a fuse for them in the fuse box under the hood.
Hey Frankie. The vanity lights under the mirrors are poorly sealed and I had issues with water getting into them on my 09 and ruining the electronics. I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing is happening to yours. I don't think there is a fuse that I know of. Just take it apart and measure with a meter the power going to the light to confirm.

I’m sure if you get the T1000 tuner or the newest tuner by diablo you can get Trans tuning. You could either get the tuner/tuners from Diablo Sport themselves or Moe’s Performance(where I would recommend because they are cheaper there) www.moes-performance.com/mobile/Product.aspx?ProductCode=9345
Hey Alex unfortunately there is no 8 speed tuning option for 2013 and 2014 trucks from any DiabloSport tuner at this point. Here is the thread where they say it still isn't offered

Boosted2k I find that weird though because the only difference between the 14 and 15+ models is the PCM that is required to be unlocked. Otherwise they are no different. You could maybe just get an unlocked 15 PCM and plug it in and see if that works. Just weird why it wouldn’t work considering the ZF 8Speed wasn’t released until late 2014 which is where they would have actually been considered 2015 models just like for example with the 2019 RAM it’s 2018 still and they released it this year.

Thanks for the support on the channel Alberto! I've seen it but since I already have the 8.4 U connect I wouldn't do it. If I had the standard radio I would but I have one of those kind of no name touch screens in my Jetta and it works but it isn't as fancy or mapped out as nice as the authentic 8.4 U connect

Depends what year your truck is. Between those two I would say DiabloSport. I think the real choice is between DiabloSport and HP tuners. 😎

@@drippypapi4254 as long as you dont go to big of a wheel size or if you get a level kit or a lift it will work. I have a 20x12 with a 33inch amp off road tire and the wheels are drop star chrome 20in x -44 offset . Most after market wheel with be universal so the fit is definite. I got my from rent a wheel.
