Nothing more fun than digging all those dropped bullets like that. I found a camp near my house about 2 months ago and dug over 70 droppeds. It's So Much Fun!.
CONGRATS to everyone on a GREAT Civil War relic hunt! Especially to Bill on his 1st CW Bullet & to Brad for his 1st Washington Arsenal CW Bullet! Thanks for sharing your hunt with us!
@20:41 that has to be the best looking button I have seen in a long, long time. I just love the contrast of the colors that really set the button off. Way to go fellas!
You guys should definitely go back when it cools off. No doubt there's plenty left there. Amazing hunt... thanks again For doing these Kurt. You guys are killing it.
Kurt, this site was awesome. Thank you for caring about Bill getting a bullet! The friendship you all share is what makes the Hoover Boys so special to me. I am starting to learn the different beeps on the machines now!!! Seeing the numbers also help. Andy glad to see you with the guys. Since I own a AT Pro the signal sounds are right on with my machine!!! Would love to watch you guys dig live one day!!! Wouldn't you guys love to get on Assateague Island to dig for Spanish silver!! If only they would allow it. Stay safe digging! Have fun!! Some more Reales and coppers!!!
Great day out...like seeing all those bullets but liked the buttons even more...a buddy of mine found 2 of them the day he was hunting with me...my first time ever in a field...have yet to find a state button of anything...great hunt...hh...gl...Tim
Kurt, you guys killed it on the bullets, congrats to Bill on his first, that place needs to be explored further, I think this is the first Hoover Boys video I seen that didn't produce any old coins just relics, thanks for taking us along, peace...
Another heart pounding day on Civil War grounds...Absolutely Awesome 👍👍👍 tell Bill i said congrats on his first bullet.....my stomach was hurting from laughing so hard at the belly rolling lol u guys r hilarious!! Congrats to all of u guys!! Keep digging gl n ur future hunts....
Congrats to Bill for finding his first three ringer, I haven't found one yet either, just musket balls! My day is coming. And hats off to Brad for scoring the awesome permission, I look forward to you guys finding a plate there!!!
Yes, check for ticks after. I managed to pick up a tick not long ago while metal detecting, and wound up with Lyme disease. It's treatable with doxycycline 100 mg for 30 days but if left unchecked, can mess you up. Keep swinging! Love the videos.
love it man the bullets and cool buttons and relics your diggin .. and as far as your reply to last weeks episode .. I can't stand the heat as I get older 59 ... 60 in Oct. I would much rather have fall and early winter than this hot / humid crap ... here's to better days to come ....Jim
Kurt, a good field band aid is super glue. Get the cheap one at the dollar store and put it in your bag. Dries quickly and applies faster than a band aid...then it wont leave you hanging during filming.
I am learning about the Civil War and this is so amazing how to guys find all this stuff And my dad likes to find rare stuff and we have hole shelf of stuff from 1800-1920
what a score of CW bullets; looks like you had a lot of fun; too bad Bobby missed out; was hoping you or the crew would find a hat badge; could you imagine; another great find would be something with someone's name; gonna be hard to beat that militia plate though; another great video from the Hoover Boys all the best
Awesome guys! Great day digging in a NY camp or picket! Lots of lead, a first for Bill, some bugs/ bees and plenty of dirt! Doesn't get much better then that! Thanks for sharing and HH
Way to go fellers! Bill - I lost my Raptor a few months ago in brushy woods and sadly did not find it. I hope to try again in the winter when the scrub dies back and the temperature is more pleasant.
great job guys ..love your videos. From watching them for so long it seems like we know you . maybe one day we will meet up when you come to eastern ohio.. thanks again for the fun adventures ...
Great video! There has to be a plate laying around that site somewhere. There might even be a silver ID tag at that site too. It looks like one of Bill's buttons was an Indian Wars button so the site was also occupied by troops after the Civil War. I have a site that was occupied both during and after the war.
Sweet... What a great day👏 Everyone comes out a winner. Such cool finds. 👍🙋
What a fun hunt to watch thanks for sharing it. Great to see Bill back again.
My wife and I love your videos, good luck & God bless gents !
Thanks Pete & Wife! God bless

Life goal, metal detect and do some photography work for The Hoover Boys!
Great permission, Kurt. Definitely worth another thrashing when the foliage takes a nap. It's nice to see a "Bingo" finale'. ;-))

Congrats to Bill on his first CW button. I llive in NC and still don't have a CW bullet or button. Oh well, maybe one of these days! GL & HH.
They're out there. Best of luck getting over them
Kurt, a good field band aid is super glue. Get the cheap one at the dollar store and put it in your bag. Dries quickly and applies faster than a band aid...then it wont leave you hanging during filming.
That's an excellent idea. Thanks!
Love your finds! keep the videos coming!

You guys are so rear how you find these thangs ☺☺😁😁
Thank you for the support. The CW was an extremely interesting period of time
Bobby Buttons and Leo missed a great dig. Those civil war buttons are so cool !
Yes they did! At least Bobs excuse was legitimate
Congratulations Hoover's awesome site and saves...Great stuff ..&).
Awesome hunt guys
what a score of CW bullets; looks like you had a lot of fun; too bad Bobby missed out; was hoping you or the crew would find a hat badge; could you imagine; another great find would be something with someone's name; gonna be hard to beat that militia plate though; another great video from the Hoover Boys all the best
Much appreciated Kev! We missed Bob on this one. Hopefully he's there next time
nice day for relics, damn a yellow jacket I would torch the whole area. congrats Bill
Oh it sucked! I heard the swarm and I was out of there. Andy got the short end of that deal
Awesome guys! Great day digging in a NY camp or picket! Lots of lead, a first for Bill, some bugs/ bees and plenty of dirt! Doesn't get much better then that! Thanks for sharing and HH
Appreciate it. All the best
Way to go fellers! Bill - I lost my Raptor a few months ago in brushy woods and sadly did not find it. I hope to try again in the winter when the scrub dies back and the temperature is more pleasant.
With you, I lost my customized short shovel and they do not make 'em anymore. AAArrrrGGHHH !
It sucks when you notice something missing. We've been lucky to recover most of them. Pinpointers go missing most of the time for us
Un-Bulletivable. Great hunt!
Hahaha! Thanks
Absolutely great hunt. I am planning to go back to Virginia and hopefully I will find my first Civil War bullet. To bad Bobby couldn't make the hunt.
Good luck in Va! Tons of history yet to be found
These guys are so fun to watch! Horror movie plot twist. They melted all the bullets down, made sinkers, and went fishing.
That is an awesome site. Star base bullets are pretty rare here in AL. I have never found one. I am up to 40 CW bullets for the year.
Nice finds
Another great video, I love your history lessons
Appreciate it Bryan. I enjoy doing them
Great finds guys. wish I could find areas like that here in Fla. / So.Ga.
great job guys ..love your videos. From watching them for so long it seems like we know you . maybe one day we will meet up when you come to eastern ohio.. thanks again for the fun adventures ...
Appreciate the support! All the best till then
"When a button comes along, you must whip it!" lol nice hunt congrats to bill
That's awesome congrats Bill! So cool you caught that on video.
He's been wanting that one for a long time. To happy we caught it on video
Great video! There has to be a plate laying around that site somewhere. There might even be a silver ID tag at that site too. It looks like one of Bill's buttons was an Indian Wars button so the site was also occupied by troops after the Civil War. I have a site that was occupied both during and after the war.
Thanks Donnie. I though the same thing about Bills button. That's the one he gave to the owners. All the best out there
You guys don't need Bobby to have a funny video!! You got Brad and Billy!!
I have let Bob know, wonderful, thanks.
Hahaha! No but he always helps
Thanks and keep it up (This will now be my go to comment)
Incredible Finds and a Great Video.
Thanks Roy
Awesome hunt. That is my favorite part of U.S. history. Being a old Civil War reenacter. Would love to hunt relics from that war. So jealous.
Appreciate it Lee. Civil war relics give me chills. We love CW hunting. Wish we had some sites like this one
