It is not mentioned in the anime but the reason why Yunyun only gets weird guys to join her party is because when someone reads Yunyun's recruitment ad, Yunyun gets excited so her eyes start to glow. When the adventurer turns to look for the one who posted the party ad, they see this girl with glowing red eyes staring back at them, scaring them off, thinking she doesn't want them in her party. Those she didn't scare off are the weirdos we saw in the ep.
She can, but won't. Everytime she levels up, she spends her points on powering up Explosion and reducing the cast speed. Its completely illogical, but she doesn't care.
I think her mana does increase with level ups. However, she uses her points to increase the power of explosion which increases the mana requirement. This counteracts her increased mana pool.
20:14 At the end of the movie, Megumin did decide to give up on her dream and be more of an all-rounder. She’s crazy but not completely unreasonable. Thankfully, Kazuma intervened and brought her back to the Megumin we know and love.
like in the first season, Megumin mentioned that she will put all of her skill points to Explosion Passives but at the end of the movie, it was revealed that she partially lied and keeping those skill points to learn advance magic in case of emergency. I think it was underwhelming in the movie how Megumin blamed herself for the misfortunes Kazuma suffered throughout the movie which would not have been if they include the third night Kazuma and Megumin shared the same bed.
Those were definitely the VAs for Kazuma and Aqua. As for why Kazuma, Aqua, and Darkness' faces aren't really being shown, I believe it's because this is Megumin's show and is from her point of view and she hasn't met them yet. She hears their antics, but they're just randos to her right now.

He became a gamer and everyone forgot he existed and he instead became known in gaming. Other moments are also in the LNs already. However, whenever the author finishes Combatants, the author plans on doing a sequel to Konosuba (Sato Kazuma’s Counterattack.)
Megumin just needs to go the independent contractor route. People would pay good money for a pocket nuke when they need it. And if nobody needs it then make them need it by attacking a castle for days on end to antagonize the guy living there.
Megumin would not be good for that. "Blast" and "Detonation" magic are both mentioned in the series to be used forjust that, as they can be learned more easily and actually used inside. There is a reason that even other Crimson Demons laugh at Explosion. For any one benefit, there are five downsides.

I may be forgetting, but I’m hoping they haven’t shown up yet as I can already see jokes about “size” and “force” being made. I refrained from writing an essay in the first post but here’s a summary of my thinking. It’s more about megumin selling herself as a nuke. Small and weak groups would want her around for a job they aren’t confident they can handle and better parties might solicit her services to take out a boss or horde of enemies. Explosion magic can be useful and the trick is making people think they need it more than they do, Axis cult similarities aside.
@@DarkCrimsonBlade It’s all explained more in the LN of this spin-off and the main series LNs as well. You also have to remember this is a rookie town and those quests won’t show up often and Megumin doesn’t have the money to adventure freely, so she’s stuck here until she becomes useful.
I'm never forgiving Studio Deen for what they did to Konosuba season 1 and 2 Why they cut out major funnier scenes and replaced them with filler episodes
What? There aren’t any filler episodes (OVAs are OVAs and aren’t part of the episode list and were LN bonuses.) All adapted are canon chapters, just moved around (the dungeon chapter was from Season 1, but was too short for that season’s pacing and Season 2’s pacing was different, allowing them to do more.)
This stubborn attitude from Megumin really irritates the HELL OUT OF ME!!! She could easily be one of the best wizards if only she'd diversify her spells instead of being a glass cannon. Any smart person knows that having full complement of different spell types can give you a huge advantage over the enemies in this world!!! I hope Megumin wises up and understands that she's leaving so much money on the table by not listening to what people are telling her.
Ikr. But if she really insistent of being the best Explosion magic user, she should at least have find means to increase her mana capicity through training or items so she can use Explosion multiple times.
Well then it’s not funny. Suppose it’s the easiest gag to fix though. Aqua can’t really fix being so stupid and Darkness can’t fix being so bad at hitting things and being horny.
@@gerdanbombales It apparently doesn't matter. When she increases the potency of Explosion, it takes more mana as a result. So no matter how much she increases her Mana, so long as she continues maximizing Explosion, she'll always just be a one shot cannon. Megumin's trapping herself in a loop of uselessness
@@ComradeArthur True, but they kept saying her magic is very situational. Not all problem scan be solved by blowing them up. Especially when doing so can cause more damage than help

Nothing beats the original crew. Their VAs are op, just hearing their voices is enough to make you laugh.
