Bukorori, is definitely creepy, no point denying it but does keep in mind that he is NEET(shut-in), so he might be more socially awkward than even Yun-Yun who actually interacts with people (in her own way) and imagine him falling in love with the most beautiful girl in town, gotta admit there's a lot of pressure here.
crunchyroll subs are so bad for this series.They call the creature kuro in Japanese. Kuro = black (or blackie since it's a pet name). Crunchyroll uses the word "Ink" for Kuro. Ink in Japanese either uses the katakana borrowed word term "inku" or the traditional word "sumi" for ink. Just how the hell did they translate Kuro as Ink? That's the most fucking basic word possible. It's a color. Are they trying to use ink instead since it doesn't sound racist? That's the only reasoning I can think of since the either way, whatever reason they were using it's dumb as bricks.
It's hard for people of all ages to ask for what they really want. I love both Megumin and Yunyun's characters. I know it's a spinoff but I'm really loving it. I'm actually enjoying Bokkorori's (sp?) character too. Everyone has their own ways, but I don't recommend digging a pit in a forest to get a girl. Just saying.
It’s been on my mind probably since the last episode, but I wonder if Megumin’s cat has something to do with the demon that kept being mentioned this episode. If I recall, it appeared in the story just before the increase in monster activity, and it’s been steadily shown more and more as they mention the seal. Even though anyone would be startled by something coming at them out of nowhere, it could mean something more in a situation like this, where there’s a high alert for monsters, and this strange cat comes charging in like it does.
Ornery... pronounced like "awn-ree"... I think it's a word that's more common in the South and "country" parts of the Midwest. My grandpa used to use it but I don't hear it used very often in modern speech. It means disagreeable, mean... someone who is always starting crap.

Not covered in the movie, but Broccoli (Bukkorori) and Soketto are heavily implied to be a couple in that LN. Wonder what happened in those two years. It’s ironic seeing them like this, because there’s a scene that wasn’t covered, where Broccoli and Soketto trolled Sylvia with Teleport and they saved Yun Yun together from Sylvia, instead of her running away as bait. Not covered in this anime, but in this LN, Broccoli has two page long monologues about Soketto (like Genos’ monologue from One Punch Man.) It’s funny that Broccoli is like this in the prequel, because he had some cool moments saving Kazuma’s crew in the movie. He talked a bit more about Soketto, revealing that she’s a skilled fighter who trains a lot (she also blocked Inferno with water magic, so she didn’t get hurt nor as mad.) 10:18 - In the LN of the movie, it’s explained that Invisibility is less effective the closer you are to the user (there was a gag where Aqua tried to chase after the invisible NEETs.) 18:32 - Soketto talks more about that and misinterpreted that as Broccoli trying to figure out how to beat her in battle, which feels like Broccoli and Soketto are a parallel for Yun Yun and Megumin’s ‘rivalry.’
Now we see why Megumin can handle Kazuma's NEETness so well, she basicly already had to deal with 1 creepy NEET for most of her life lmao
