- After going and giving Antonio his saddle I ended up staying for a few days and learning from him. Who doesn't dream about buying some land far away from everything and living off the land. This was pretty close to offered homesteading out here in Panama as you can get. No vehicle access and horses are the main form of transportation.
I got to learn about harvesting rice(something I had absolutely zero experience with), the cattle industry here in Panama, hunting iguanas, and more about horses.
After Antonio's house we made the 3 hour ride to Miguel's ranch where I spent the rest of the week till it was time to take our boat back to Cambutal.
I had such a good time getting to know Antonio & Miguel more! I cant wait till I get to go back!

Haha yeahhh Matt I have a boss😂 I don’t know if I’d say I have a job per se since I’m an independent contractor and I can kinda pick up work when I’d like. So currently I’m not working, but I can go back to the states and work whenever. There’s a guy I like to work with a lot and he taught me everything I know so I call him my boss. His name is also Matt👍
