Nice video - pretty amazing about how the tide cycle changes the water crossing so dramatically - a giant salt water lagoon. Without elaborating, seems like you've got a good handle on dealing with the people situation as you get closer to the border. I find it very interesting seeing Panama through your experience. It's a country I know very little about and am really impressed by its diversity. Looking forward to the next one!
Yeahhh man! It’s just like I was saying a terrain I’ve never experienced or had to think about watching out for. The rivers were far off and they just looked like streams going through farmland. Just glad I didn’t drown the bike too much haha. Yes! Panama was also a place I had zero experience with. It’s defiantly shaping out to be one of my favorite countries in Central America
Very cool! What a beautiful country! One of my favorite things about traveling is meeting locals, and the fact that you are in the middle of nowhere and have some of the most genuine interactions with very good hearted people puts a smile on my face.
That’s awesome Christa! Yeah it helps when there are just so many amazing people out there. All I have to do is show up and say hi. It’s one of my favorite parts of traveling this way
Hola Landon! New to the channel. (From episode 74) Recommended by a friend. I enjoyed the content and your honest, sometimes naive approach, so I went back to the first episodes and am watching those between the new releases. Your bike choice is one of the best I've seen for this type of adventure. Mantente seguro mi amigo. chief
Thanks awesome David! Who recommended the channel to you? Do I know them? I hope you continue to enjoy the videos! Feel free to at any time comment and write what you want to see more of what you want to see less of. I’m really enjoying connecting with everyone on here and I do want to produce the best videos possible that I can!
@LandonBishoff My friend Bruce Wilson stumbled upon your channel while looking for motorcycle touring videos to replace Itchy Boots after she had temporarily stopped touring. You've gotten up to speed rather quickly, producing very entertaining content. I enjoy your approach and admire your riding skills! Regarding the request for feedback on your over-dubbing commentary. As long as it isn't overused, I think it can add valuable information. The interactions with the local people are enjoyable, adding further incites into the culture. I look forward to watching your adventures. Una pregunta. Cuanto tiempo pasa entre la filmación y el lanzamiento de los videos? Cuitate.
Hahah you got it detective! Haha yeah sorry no I’m not trying to hide the fact that I’m further along than the videos. I am however trying to catch them up more and that’s why we are doing 3 videos a week right now. It’s just hard when you only upload once or twice a week and you travel more than that. Naturally the videos get behind.
From what I've read that sounds like a pretty dangerous area. But things are also sensationalized and blown out of proportion a lot of times. I'm looking forward to seeing what the area has to offer through your videos. I think Panama has been my favorite country you have visited so far. Ride safe my friend.
Glad you cross the river ok. nice folks to invite you to camp at their place.seeing the stars and moon on a clear night is awesome!, love that! May God keep you safe on your journey. You're in my prayers.❤ as always cool ride!👍
Yeahh I’d say from my experience pretty much things are always blown out of proportion. I’m surprised by how much farming and cattle are down here. I would have thought it was just jungle and mountains. I think down in the Darien in certain spots it’s extremely dangerous and you can’t go there. But there’s also the Darien is a national park and I think you can access certain areas safely.
I been enjoying your trip for Mexico and now Central America, really good routes and people you find, where can I find your routes so I can plan a trip around them? I would love to follow some of your routes and adventures ❤❤❤
Thanks my friend! Always love to see people in Mexico following along as well! Yeah the routes I’d love to share one day. I currently don’t have a way of sharing them. You can go on my UA-cam homepage and there is a Gaia link there where you can see my rough draft of my trip. But I don’t think you can download. Also that route is just a rough draft. When I finish this trip I want to create a website and create a way to share the routes.
You know..... if I was looking for a quality bike to do some enduro riding or some on acreage and / or track, it'll be KTM. Yamaha guy, my whole life! What a remarkable motorcycle!
Yeah my first bike was a Yamaha WR450. I loved and still do love that bike. However if it makes sense a KTM 500 is a pretty impressive all around bike. It truly is wild to think it’s taken me this far. It’s a fun little experiment to see how much further it’ll take me
bought my first bike and this the only channel ill watch supporting u bro love the content please keep posting would like to collab one day in the near future
Hahah sorry Robert! Yeah Warp 9 gave me some, but sadly they were the wrong size. It hasn’t been a bother to me and I didn’t want to bother warp 9 for more. 😑the billet orange would have looked sick!
You got seriously lucky with that crossing. Great adventure as always.
Totally! I’m so glad I didn’t go into the big one… I almost did because I saw so many fresh mud tracks going into it
man, u are courageous. Beautiful scenery. But stay safe
Thanks my friend! I’m gonna do the best I can!
