    It feels like Elisha calls me out personally every video. Every time he goes on a rant describing a certain type of individual I always match that description lol. I’m glad to hear this stuff though, it’s good that it makes me feel uncomfortable and called out rather than all these other “self-improvement” UA-camrs that just stroke my ego and justify my behaviour that I know in reality isn’t in alignment with the things I really want. Thanks Elisha.

    It's kind of funny, I was sitting in my computer chair the other day and it occurred to me that I'm always thinking about my thoughts using words in my head like I'm trying to solve a problem, but there is no problem, there's just a steady stream of unnecessary dialog. I thought well, if I stop focusing on my thoughts, how do I actually feel? I realized I actually feel kind of scared a lot of the time, it was weird.

    I agree with the agreeableness of all the people in the "nofap community". I was heavily invested in that whole facade when I was like 15-16. Everyone in that subreddit just hypes each other up and if you even say something remotely disagreeing with nofap you are downvoted to shit and attacked. Its a circle jerk subreddit, like most places, everyone has the same ideas and same goal and if you suggest anything that threatens their fragile world view you are hated.

    what i got from this
    1. don't try to find a way to make money online and go traditional route by trading your time for money (aka 9-5)
    2. but dont trade all your time because of kids/family are important
    3. stay broke.. since your basic job don't pay as much and don't keep up with inflation..
    4. simple terms live like everyone else?
    am i getting this correct? cuz that's a sad life in my opinion

    Hard disagree about the online business portion. The 9-5 is modern day slavery for most people. Of course good companies exist, and some people are meant to learn a trade or climb the corporate structure. That’s fine. But honestly if there’s a way to make income independent of these systems, it would be in the best interest of many people. Why drain your soul for someone else’s vision just to not be able to have enough for a house and family and have your retirement pushed back 10 years in this economy? The digital economy is just starting out and there will be so many opportunities moving forward that can provide freedom and flexibility. It’s not a delusion for a lot of people.

    • @ethanwall6994
      @ethanwall6994 6 місяців тому +1

      I don’t think 9-5s are always soul draining to be honest. It definitely depends what you’re doing obviously but I’ve worked tons of jobs that I felt energized and alive coming back from. It’s about finding that feeling in your work, that vitality. Ultimately even if you do make it big doing someone like digital entrepreneurship if you’re not enjoying your work or feeling energized by it everyday what’s the point. It’s a very personal decision that’s why it’s strange to me to see people call it ‘slavery’.

    • @JJ-xf8xg
      @JJ-xf8xg 6 місяців тому +1

      I was about to make a similar comment. I like Elisha's videos, but he does seem to be anti online businesses. I personally know people making very good money online and I plan to do the same thing myself. Of course it's not for everyone, but I definitely feel like a slave working a 9-5 as well. He put down men who made the choice to refrain from fapping, says that getting in the gym and lifting weights doesn’t make you a better man or a “warrior”, says that spirituality (what I took as having a religion and being a man of the lord) is all an ego trip, attempting to seek better opportunities for yourself and hustle at something you’re passionate about is just benefiting some old rich guy. I’m just not following and would appreciate clarity.

    I am thinking about leaving my gf which we have been together for over a year now. There were only minor issues since the beginning of the relationship. The problem is that she is depressiv and oversensitiv and i am the absolute opposite. i can't even make a slightly offensive but actually funny joke around or with her without making her sad. she's never angry just abysmally sad. now i think i got quite sissy around her and let her do anything she wants. she always says that she "can't" do the chores, can't properly work on her business, can't go outside, blah. It always comes back to the same thing, which is that she has no energy. Recently I asked her about it and she became very sad again. I told her in a sharp tone that she has to get up and start. It's been 5 weeks now and nothing has changed. Now I don't want any of that anymore, but I still love her very much. Is it wrong to make an escape plan and move out of our flat and telling her during the moving its over? I've never been as effeminate as I am now and feel like I have to go through with it. Two weeks remaining until i have to decide otherwise my guts feel like they explode

      I think you should not leave her

      you are the exact archetype he makes videos for. you lack accountability and are blaming a woman, your GF for YOU feeling ‘effeminate’ 😂
      you can write another essay about her having mental issues, etc. but at the end of the day you are the MAN of the relationship. You’re supposed to LEAD your woman… lead her out of her own darkness, her shell, etc.
      But hey, keep blaming your weak-minded GF for your shitty daily choices and continue watching red pill UA-cam to cope 🤷‍♂️

      I think you know what needs to be done. One year in is not that long of a time in the grand scheme of things. It's a bit crazy to keep doing the same things and expecting the situation to improve, right?
      I was also with a woman who was in a longterm depressive state and didn't want to put in the work to help and improve herself. Surprisingly, she was the one who ended up breaking things off with me. It hurt for a while but it truly set me free from the rut I didn't realize I was in for so many years of my young adult life.

    "life is simple. just get into a stem field. make some money. meet a woman. have some babies. "🤣🤣 Brother, it only seems simple if you win personally. that's not how life is at all for everyone. I'm not complaining. Just saying the truth.
