What I've realized lately on this subject:
    1. Checking out with a ton of money is not the answer. You still need mission to feel the thumos.
    2. What ever path you go down, it will be hard. There will be days where you doubt yourself. You will want to quit and just leave it all. What you have to understand is that the pain you are experiencing WILL translate to strength, as long as you keep going. You will be rewarded for your effort as long as you are persistant. You are a man, you have what it takes and you will figure it out.
    High Thumos Stay Based

Forging a path for yourself makes life infinitely simpler. It doesn't make your life easier; if anything, it will get harder. But you will be at peace and grounded within your newfounded duties required of you on your path.

The happiest and most rewarding times of my life were when i was helping others. Spent alot time volunteering with autistic children and at a retirement home. Helps you learn alot, stay humble, and be extremely grateful for what you have. And when i was the most depressed in life i was just doing things for myself...

The most important thing about understanding a path is to just start walking. Keep walking and pushing forward. Put all of yourself into something. It doesn’t matter if it’s the perfect right away. The path will become clearer and clearer the longer you walk.

Im done just getting by and also doing stuff for other peoples fulfillment instead of my own. Im 21 and I’d rather go through this rough patch now then when I’m 35. I got plan in hand and I’m going to follow it. They may hate my decision but hey they aren’t me

    As Frank Sinatra said,
"For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught
To say the things he truly feels
And not the words of one who kneels
The record shows, I took the blows
    And did it my way"

One thing I've realized is to stop second guessing the path I've chosen. There can be a feeling a loss when choosing a path because you sacrifice the limitless possibilities of novelty, all the "what ifs". But you got to move forward, the narrow path is always the most rewarding.

It takes a long time to reach this level of understanding and maturity and unfortunately I don't think there is any shortcut. At some point you just realise the only way to not be in pain is to give love value and service to others.

Hey Elisha before watching, I wanted to say thank you for all the encouragement you give us. A couple months ago I commented on several of your videos saying I was looking for a job in car sales and nobody in my area would hire me due to my lack of experience. 2 weeks ago I was offered a job at my local airport only 10 minutes away from my home and yesterday I got my fingerprints and badge picture taken. Your videos have encouraged to get myself out there more. Thank you bro & high thumos 🔥

For me my path was formed when I established gratitude. When you have traits, skills, and people that are important in your life you must be grateful for them in order to gain more.
edit: also in general I just feel that gratitude can really just push you forward, just taking moments everyday to be thankful for what you have and send good intentions for those you love just makes it easier to go about traversing life.

Thank you Elisha. I hope all is blessed with you. I feel like you are speaking more about yourself than anything. An introspective projection. How you’ve grown so much. How you’ve had the pit falls of chasing money and other things on the side. However, in the end you’ve realized how truly blessed you are to be in the position you are in and how much work you’ve had to do since the library and blackboard days. You had a different mission from the beginning of your journey & now since walking that path you’ve come to realize that the truest thing in the world is to give service to others and that’s where you are now in life. You are a light bearer, illuminating the path behind you so that way others can see what’s ahead. You are truly speaking from your heart and those messages are the most powerful & long lasting. High Thumos.

I'm 26 and quit my job as a purchasing manager end of November, because the job was leading me nowhere and wasnt challenging nor fulfilling. Also, it (or myself) kept me from seeing other opportunities, because it was so draining . After i quit, i came to the realisation that i want to become a software engineer. I have no job experience in that field at all, but i always loved to solve problems with a computer and have some self-taught experience about this type of stuff. So i layed out a path on how to become a software engineer. In december I got into a software engineering program for front-& backend in germany. So right now i'm doing this full time, but job-wise i want to get my foot into IT right now. So even with zero IT certifications or job experience you can apply to some entry-level IT jobs , which are mostly first to second level help desk support. I applied to some and had an interview last week for a big second-level IT Support position, literally 6 minutes from my home, which went really well. Told them all i know about soft- & hardware and practiced multiple days for the interview. So, in 2 weeks i have an appointment where they'll introduce me to their colleagues and we'll have a chat about details i guess. Really want this. I'm finally on the right path to become what i want after some directionless years.
If anyone is reading this and is in a similar situation, you can do it. Prepare your plan, practice and then execute it. That's what helped me most. Let us finally rise up and keep the darkest of days behind us. Bless

Where i live, the mothers usually cook the food for the whole family. I've watched your videos where you said that one needs to get out of their mother's sheltered love. Which i am out of i believe, but i've been failing to consistently bulk up(im skinny but ive been lifting for a few months and have a decent shape), and since this whole place is new and im thousands of Miles away from home my mental state also suffers a bit. For any of you that feel overwhelmed by the possibilities and confusion in the world I recommend a book called opportunity by Eben pagan. Dude is a legend. He created an empire with one of the first books on pick up called double you’re dating. He is now a master marketer and entrepreneur among many other things. One of the most brilliant thinkers I’ve ever listened to and he does a great job in the book preparing people for the intense and complex level of opportunities coming this decade. If you don’t know where to start this is a good book to prepare your mind on where to look for things.

Tl:Dr: I have a goal, but I am worried I am the wrong person for my goal. What do I do? Sorry for the lemgth, I tried to be a short as possible.
I'm stuck. I know the path I want. I want to write and draw stories that will live on timelessly. But, I don't seem to be the right person.
In the past 8 years I've worked through pre-production of 3 seperate major projects, and a bunch of minor ones. Eventually, I always convince myself my idea is not good enough so I never complete anything, though it does take _years_ because I never give up, so I run on fumes for much longer than I should. My longest project was for 5 years.
I keep making my ideas smaller to try get something out, but it changes nothing. I fail because my mind kills all my projects, and I have no one to rely on but myself, so when I'm lost I have no way to help myself.
I just don't know what to do. I know I am wasting my potential, but I can't capitalise on it. It's so frustrating. I'm just not the person I need to be. I lack nothing, except faith in myself. And I can't get that without success. Catch 22. I need success to get to the point to succeed.
