This song and kannaale naan Kanda kanamae were super duper melodies. Amr and psuseela both simply blew it with their mellifluous voices. This song was in 7/8 which was a rarity those days for love duets.
The combo of amr, psuseela, Gemini and vyjmala were a treat to watch in parthiban kanavu film. It was Magical 👍

A perfect recreation of the original by Veda sir. Lyricist Vindan was a great song writer and a number of songs has been a hit. I am 80 and remember many of his hits. Veda also excelled in western type songs, unfortunately was dubbed as copying music, which was the producers fault. All credit to Subhasree my child and thank you for the nostalgic memories. This song was a favourite of late uncle. He used to play it from a 78 RPM vinyl. Even with the cracklings and scratchy noises of a vinyl, it sounded beautiful. Now in digital form it sounds simply sublime. Thanks a lot, and double kudos to the entire QFR team.
