I subscribed and I've been binge watching you since yesterday. There are a lot of amazing junk journal artists that are horrible to listen too! You are to the point, entertaining, and your love for this craft is obvious and contagious.

Love your stuff! Lol! I watch it all. You’re so good at thrifty. Here’s another one for you. When you sprayed the small bits purple you could have placed a full book page underneath them and got 2 at once. More bang for your spray buck. A Winnipeg crafter. Keep those nifty ideas coming. ❤️

Love this idea, I was thinking why not tear the "backside" and blacken the edges, before glueing the pieces onto the other side of the page. That would create another edge as opposed to the string finish. Great video, you are one of the few I can listen to, mostly they chat on and it drives me nuts. Thank you from Australia.👍👍👍

So much fun I get to see this morning. You are the queen of ink! 💃
Am glad you added the purple. I love finding the little purple & yellow flowers on my walks here in the smoky mountains even in the cold of winter. Oh I remember mr magoo and I feel like him now.
Yes the old guy looks like Alec Baldwin in character. Am enjoying your journey in videos. As a newbie to journaling am so excited what to do in the future. Am still working on a special gift with I guess what you call mixed media. But so many ideas for junk journals which I may have found something that my non artistic self can do. This is exciting. 🤩

@@ThePaperOutpost I'm excited to have discovered junk journals! I lack any artistic ability as tried drawing even using dots on journal & it's really sad as I can't even trace well lol.
Am trying to complete my gift journal which may not make it to FL for Christmas but am getting so many more ideas. The gift this person is going to is very organized & detail oriented & am only going to touch on mixed media by cutting out photos am pictures from magazines & hopefully create an environment where she'll want to journal & dream.
My little finches respond to your videos while my greyhounds sleep. So, I've found something I can do and it's good enough. 🤩 Thank you for sharing your passion in creating art. 🎄

I'm grateful for the gifts I do have though not artistic. Am enjoying making my own TN my own journey adding little embellishments mini junk journal with no eyes upon it. Hi Maureen, not sure on the glue temp since I am in Florida . I would love to know what you would like to see in a Facebook group. What would make it enjoyable or interesting for you personally?

The Paper Outpost I think I'd be more inclined to share more in a private group of like minded people. Being able to ask questions and sharing what you have inspired us to make is what I'd enjoy. The other page you have I enjoy too but I don't need my sister in law to be able to see what I comment on lol. I think that's the privacy settings which I don't really get. But it does seem like a lot of work to be the admin of, you don't want it to consume your life and take away from doing your much anticipated videos!!! Oh and we would be able to comment on the podcasts as I don't see anywhere on Spotify to give you a thumbs up kinda thing 👍👍 I think you are wise to take your time to set it up so you have it just the way you want it!!! Good luck and Merry Christmas!!!

The Paper Outpost just my opinion but I think it should be all about you!! That is, you might want to have rules of others not promoting their channels or selling. After all it is your page and there are other places they can do that. 👍

Some of my best results have come from accidents! Don’t fear the smudge! Or the drip, rip or blob. Or the reaper...No that’s a song never mind. 🤪 . I use my beautifully colored baby wipes, (it happens) torn in strips and ruffled on the sewing machine, as edging for pages. Also punch them into shapes, by putting a piece of sturdy scrap paper behind them. Thanks for your ideas. And it DOES look like Alec Baldwin.

I don't know if you have solved your posting a document issue yet, but there are a couple of ways you could try with Word. You could save as a PDF and try posting that file type or copy your text and paste it in Paint and save as a jpeg and post it as an image. I have been bingeing your channel. Love your stuff and thank you.

Hi Jen, I will try your tips :) Does this help?
      A Little About This Journal:
This journal is meant to be explored, written in, doodled in, a place to log events or hide the little mementos of a life.
It can be a diary, a planner, an art journal an inspiration place. The possibilities are endless and you choose its destiny.
Thoughts and ideas can be captured and
expressed. Favorite quotes can be logged and sacred papers stored. It has sundry textures to entertain your senses, and treasures
      secretly nestled inside.
It is a journey of discovery of this journal and maybe even into one’s self. It is a keepsake, an heirloom treasure, something to be gifted, passed down, shared, kept
      private.
It has many tuck-spots and pockets and little hideaways to house your notions.
Journaling cards, vintage stationary and mini-notepads abound to give even more
      writing and journaling spaces. This
journal is truly one of a kind on this earth. No two are the same.
Each one is made individually at a time by myself to truly focus on the nature and spirit of that particular journal.
I hope you thoroughly enjoy this journal that has made its long and happy journey to you. May it bring you peace and joy.
