I have SUCH appreciation for You and your channel. You have such a perfect personality for creating tutorials. Fun, witty, amazing creativity, excellent teaching style. I enjoy every tutorial.
I always get inspired by your creative projects. My preference is the bottle shape. I think it adds a depth of creativity, yet keeping with the homey feel. Thank you Natasha for sharing your ideas and projects. I have been watching and learning from you for a long time and look forward to more of your videos.
I love the ones that look like cocktail dresses. They are all just fun, regardless of the shape, and they bring Joy. I haven’t used fairies in ages and I love them, especially with flowers and butterflies..
These are so cute, I love this idea! I really like the tea bag pocket with the flowers in it. I use mason jars all the time for everything. Candy storage, flower jars, pasta storage, buttons… you name it, it gets stored in it! I grew up on a farm, ( not a producing farm), we had horses, chickens, dogs, one or two cows…. but we did “nothing” to profit off of it. It was just our home life. Mason jars make me think of a simpler time. I love their old fashioned appeal and charm. In my adult life, I lived on farmland too. I raised ducks… also not for profit. The country life is for me, and the mason jar is all part of it!! Thank you for the crafting today. Oh, and I love your nail polish color!!!! 😁 Enjoy your day!!
I just love this! I love them both. The bottle ones remind me of those cute 1950's sundresses. If you cut a little "V" at the top and used brads for buttons they'd be styling outfits! So cute!!! I love mason jars. In fact, I went to dinner tonight at a friend's and they used mason jars for drinking glasses. They bring feelings of simpler times, when handmade was more the norm. Thank you for another beautiful video :)
Whenever I am feeling blah, I can count on Natasha to come up with something cute and funny to make me giggle. The world needs more of that...and huge butterflies!!😂
Natasha you crack me up with the butterfly voice overs lol, but you NEVER disappoint. You are creative, generous with your time and ideas and I appreciate you very much ❤️
This is such an Awesome Tutorial! I have wonderful memories of helping my Mom with canning vegetables from our gardens. And to this day I use mason jars for not only canning, but storing rice beans and buttons. Im working on a junk journal with memories of simple country living, and this is going to be my project today. Thank you for all you share!
Don't know if I spent more time laughing or admiring your adorable ideas. I love mason jars only mine are filled with my rockhound husband's rocks! Ha. I did keep some for me, 1 with clear marbles and another holds words or sayings I've torn from magazines and old books, etc. AND I LOVE FAIRIES! Every summer I build my little fairy garden outside. I change it around when I want with maybe 2 or 5 new ideas or things I've found at the stores or thrift shops. They love it when I add things (except the local hogs (called Javelinas local to Arizona) that visit and knock down their cute homes and drink all the water in their little pond (meant only for fairies, butterflies, and birds.) Anyway, I am gonna make your adorable mason jars, wonky or perfect which depends on the journal I'm making. I aspire to make ephemera and decor ahead of time, we'll see... I'm thrilled to know another way to use my fairy images. I also have Mary Barkers book (from my adulthood--haha), with the flower fairies. I just love the images Mary Barker painted, she was so wonderful an artist. Using images from her cozy book is a perfect match with the coziness I feel about mason jars. I did print many of my favorite fairies from the fairy cards I have (same ones as you and I have from our books). I wish I'd had a fairy book when I was little. 🌷🌸🌻🍄🌺🌺
Mason jars remind me of my Grandma. She would take me to the basement where she had rows of shelves with all the things she had canned. We would go to a special row and I would pick out a jar of bing cherries. She would get it down and we went upstairs. She would open it and we would sit down at the table and eat the whole jar.
I grew up on a farm, a farm that was not very prosperous money wise but we always had an abundance of food. My mother worked tirelessly to put up fruit, vegetables and chicken in mason jars. My favorites were; canned chicken, canned crabapples and canned pears. Her efforts ensured we ate nutritious food all winter long. She has given me many of the jars she used. They represent her loving toil that ensured her family was well fed and cared for. Thanks mom!
My mom too and she also worked full time. I was her right hand man getting the jars and lids sterilized, picking and prepping the veggies, getting the tools ready and starting dinner. When she got home we ate and then got to work. We’d be canning till 11 pm sometimes and she still got up at 5 am to go to work again, making our lunches for school and leaving them on the counter before she left. We got on the school bus at 7 am. I didn’t get to socialize with friends much, they were too far away from my house and they never had the amount of chores I did, so I didn’t get invited to a lot of the things they did. so I spent my days doing chores a good part of the day, but we always had plenty to eat. My parents grew up poor and didn’t eat well when they were kids. My mom was 19 and my dad 23 when they married but he made her 2 promises if she married him… that they would own their own house and never go hungry. He kept both those promises. They’re gone now and I’m currently emptying the property & house we grew up in to be sold. So much stuff I’ve had to sell, donate, bring home or throw out because they saved everything. So hard to do, everything I touch is full of memories. They did very well for themselves and lived their dream life in the country and even though I live in the suburbs now, my house is decorated in farmhouse I guess it makes me feel like I’m still a country girl at heart.
@@TheCraftydevilSpeaks I am so sorry for your loss. My mom is 93 and our visits include so many memories of our life on the farm. My father had to work on the oil rigs during the winter to make extra money, so like you and your mom, we had the chores to do on top of the usual duties. They certainly were full day! I hope your memories include happy times … the arrival of babies animals in the spring, the cold crispness of a glass of spring water, listening to coyote calls from the safety of a warm bed and just how good our food tasted. I send you many blessings.
Love the sound of the tearing paper! Both shapes are lovely. How wonderfully homey mason jars are. This video is so much fun . thanks for sharing. The blobs add interest! Love your dialogue. Makes me chuckle.
Love both shapes ,mason jars are so vintage and have been around so long, thank you for sharing all your creativity with them, appreciate your ideas and inspirations, Teresa in Mn Blessings to you
Love these whimsical Mason Jars! They made me think about all the other shapes I might use in my journals - teapots, leaves, dresses, kites, houses, mushrooms, hearts, apples etc. As you often say Natasa the list is endless!
I love your videos and watch them all the time. You are so creative and organized.! I am not. I appreciate your directions that you make up as well. Thanks for sharing your special ideas.
I like the Mason jar take makes me feel like I’m at home or warm and snuggle. My favourites is the one with the leaves and the bird I really like the whimsical touch so Do I have a favorite? No they’re all Beautiful and cosy feeling I didn’t know you could do voices. Wow Another talent. You’re amazing. I am in the middle of trying to move so when I get set up again, I will definitely try the whimsical Mason jars I love crafting in my blood and because of that I’m a bit sad that I won’t have an extra room but I have to make it work Rent at the end of the month you know keep on crafting you inspire me gisele ✂🙎🏻♀
These are adorable. The ones you call bottle or tea pot remind me of summer dresses. Mason jars remind me of all the canned goods my mom used to make 💕
I like all the free form shapes...whimsical! I could see a Mason jar theme with lots of old recipes from grandma, embellished with flour sack swatches and minnie aprons. Some old cookbooks have a lot of folklore and graphics.
oops, I didn't add the best part, I LOVE COZINESS FROM A WARM THROW, HOT COCOA, COTTAGES, WOODS AND SO MUCH MORE. I have always tried to make my home as cozy as possible inside even if it's a cookie cutter house in a neighborhood outside. We live up on a nice hill--wouldn't wanna ride my bike up it--that overlooks the beautiful rock formations of Sedona, AZ and that too makes for a very cozy wonderful view. I will say I miss the fireplaces we had in both our Colorado cabin/home and our Michigan home. But lovingly we had three inches of snow a couple of days ago. Now that makes for cozy; snow, hot cocoa, and a warm home.Thank you so much for this tutorial, Natasha. You're the best and your humor is soooooo funny, I just love it and your hysterical voices. I am the same way with my humor--silly, and voices that change with what comes naturally. Don't ever stop your humor cause it in no way detracts from the videos, but actually enhances, and for myself, I find I remember details more than any videos. Thanks again and see my 1st comment XOXOJane (hog, ew)🐗🦹♀🥴😳🤪bye...
Love this idea! I see a dress for the other shape. Or a vase maybe? The mason jars are a symbol of comfort, I think. It evokes a feeling of grandmas and fireplaces and good food.
I love these. You have given me so many great ideas, there is not enough time in my days to accomplish all of them....but I plan to do just that one day.
I like both shapes, I am one to use what's available anytime. I'm from Australia and a poor background. Mason jars weren't used as much as empty jars from other jarred products. I remember and still use the term - 'Fowler's preserve jars'. Grandmothers always made jam in other jars, and lemon butter. Pickled onions were made in the Fowler's jars and tomato sauce was made into other sauce bottles. I love your little mason jars or bottles. Very easy to create them. Thanks for sharing
Great idea to use up book pages that I stored away not knowing what uses I had for them. First the whimsical houses now these beautiful mason jars so creative as I always say, I loved both shapes & the cut out in the center. Thanks for sharing ❤😊
I love the jar shape! I'm doing a vintage kitchen-y type journal in hopes of trying to evoke the feeling of being in my grandmother's kitchen. These would go perfectly! I loved the idea of buttons but I think it would make the reverse side hard to write on. I use mason jars for everything! I think to me, the appeal is the fact that's its an item that has been used for over 100 years. And it's a vessel to hold treasures in!
I always loved mason jars . My grandma would can all veggies all the time when I was young . So maybe this is why. Love the video . I like both shapes .
Your ideas are so creative and unique! Thanks for sharing! Mason jars are meaningful because my Mom and Grandmother canned fruits and veggies from their gardens.
My grandmother would can vegetables and tomato sauce. I love the mason jars for that reason but think the bottles are more elegant. You are so talented. I love your ideas. Thank you.
Love the jars! I think the middle one looks like a dress ....just think of what you could do with that! Bodices and belts...skirt material and necklaces!👍
a few years ago i created a beautiful Mason Jar Art Journal Page with a lighthouse beach scene - i did this after my sister passed away - she loved lighthouses and beaches - for me the Mason Jar is something that holds special Memories - what you did today is beautiful - thank you Natasa - and i think i will make another Memory Mason Jar - be well xx
I like the fairy image, for example, it's like looking into the "jar" and seeing a whole new world. Which is what a clear jar is for, to see its contents.
I love these, Natasa! I think that last one you finished, with the Easter sticker, reminds me more of a dress than a bottle! That would be another fun shape to create. Yes, mason jars used for canning and for preservss are quite homey, cozy and appealing. I have decorated a real jar with lace and velvet, will share the image in a group post.
I love these! I have a collection of vintage mason jars. They are so cozy! However I really love the bottle shape, they remind me of fancy vintage dresses. You inspired an idea! Love your videos!❤
This is a great idea! There are so many shapes and designs you can come up with here. Thanks for sharing, yet another stupendous idea from that gorgeous brain of yours. 🙃
Absolutely CHARMING!!!! Great presentation of your wonderfully creative skills and lovely imagination! Mason jars reflect the comfort of "country core." They have - for generations - held the essential goodness of home-preserved foods & fruits, staples like coffee beans or sugar, and a wealth of childhood memories...... from lightning bugs caught in Grandmother's garden to buttons snipped from clothing destined to become quilts and shells gathered on a beach vacation....... or fairies captured in our fantasies. If there is a more wholesome, innocent image to use in handmade books designed to hold thoughts, dreams & precious memories, I cannot imagine what it would be.
I love the little dresses the best. As someone suggested, they would make great birthday cards. I would do the jars for guys and the dresses for girls.
Natasha, this is a brilliant idea! The decoration ideas are endless. Hard to pic a fav, but loved the lily of the valley sticker jar - simplicity at its finest. Thank you for the inspiration!!
I prefer the Mason jar as it is actually a family name of some ancestors! A mason jar reminds me of comfort food made with love . Your other shape made me think of perfume jars! Tfs your creativity 💝🙏😊❄️
Love it.. and I’m voting for the bottle shape… and the birds mouth looked like it was open too.. jaw dropping big butterfly.., lol.. I think home ,comfy ,cozy , with mason jars..
So many possibilities. I love the bottle look and the windows are extra cuteness. Had a giggle with the character voice 😄. Thanks again for another fabulous video.💞💥
The mason jar,has preserve the lives of many people. I can remember when my mother would preserve food for the winter and also for the summer. This truly was away a blessing for many family to make it through life. I love all your ideas that you present to your viewers you do a fantastic job with all of your crafting thanks so much keep up the good. (From South Carolina)
I love mason jars. Here in NZ we have a different brand - they are Agee, but for me, they are tied to my grandmother's kitchen and the garden they had. A sense of creating value and abundance. I've always been fascinated with old machinery and equipment - somehow they managed to make things durable, and useful but also beautiful. Nowadays we make things cheaply, and disposably so there doesn't seem to be as much you can repurpose. For example, chocolate boxes, biscuit tins and flour bags were works of art and kept to store buttons and trims, special letters from your penfriend and made into peg bags and kitchen cloths. I must say, the bottle shape you made reminds me of a dress form or mannequin and I would be tempted to run with that idea by creating the 'stand' part.
I don't know about others but I'm 80 years old and when I had a growing family I had a huge garden and canning in mason jars was something I did every year. It was a wonderful time that I lived in and when I see a mason jar it evokes those wonderful memories. I think it speaks of less stressful simpler days without all the technical problems and the flooding of mass media that we have today. They just make us feel good don't they
i wish i could have a house with a garden too. its almost impossible nowadays as a working women alone. but i keep dreaming 😊 your story sounds great! all the best for you! 🍀 greetings from austria 🇦🇹🙋🏼♀️
The bottles actually look like sweet little dresses! I absolutely love these and plan to make some this evening. Thank you for breaking down the process and simplifying everything! I just love watching you. I’ve learned so much ❤❤❤
You make me laugh! I love your little joke comments. Hahaha! You should do it more often. Keep up with the amazing ideas you come up with. You are so creative.
Your so talented and make the most beautiful projects. These bottles are gorgeous. I want to make these and also I want to make the journals from your other videos.
Hahaha gosh, after I uploaded the video, I was thinking that maybe I will offend someone with whatever that accent was. I have no idea what accent I was trying to replicate. But then again, it wasn't me, it was the bird :)))))
These are spectacular and magnificent to add to our junk journals. I love Mason jars for collecting buttons, lace, bits and bops for my craft room but it dont stop there. I use mason jars for canning and storage of dry goods. Thanks beautiful for sharing this awesome amazing idea. Blessings always
I am a fairy freak!, so I love the ones with fairies no matter whether you used mason jar, bottle, or dress form as the background... but, come on Natasha, you didn't sew around anything!!! are you feeling ok?.. do we need to do an "intervention"?.. lol... love all the great ideas - I will definitely be making some with fairies...
I drink my water out of a mason jar everyday. I have always had a kindred love for them, and for reasons I can’t even explain. 😅 Loved your jars, all 30+ of them. Thanks so much for sharing. 💕🌈✂️📄🙌👏
Mason jars evoke home and homemade with love, we grow fruits and vegetables with love and care and make something delicious and lovely for those we love, we put a little bit of us in them for others to enjoy.
I am retired now but when I was younger I had a large vegetable garden and canned dozens of jars of vegetables, pickles, jam, etc. every summer. So my favorite shape is the mason jar. I think lots of people have memories of their mothers and grandmothers gardening and canning. So the mason jars are quite a nostalgic image. As for the fairies, no matter how early I would get out to my garden I never caught sight of a fairy! 😉 Thanks for another lovely video.
I agree the versatility of this idea is great by using other kitchen motifs…adding a decorated…with watercolors recipe card to the back would also add to the versatility! ❤
I have SUCH appreciation for You and your channel. You have such a perfect personality for creating tutorials. Fun, witty, amazing creativity, excellent teaching style. I enjoy every tutorial.
I love the whimsy of your torn bottles and jars.., also your fairy images. Thank you for sharing.💜🐞
I love all of them. You know having all the different ones. It gives you great choices when filling a junk journal.
Love your philosophical presentation of the humble mason jar. Crafts are imbued with meaning and memories.

I like the fairy image, for example, it's like looking into the "jar" and seeing a whole new world. Which is what a clear jar is for, to see its contents.
I love the mason jar and the bottle shape! Great idea ! I especially love the ones you decorated with the fairies. Thank you for the inspiration
Thank you for all of your projects. You're one of my favorite automatic go-to youtube channels. Have a great day ! Irene from Canada.
Thanks so much! 😊
Thank you 🤗
The mason jar,has preserve the lives of many people. I can remember when my mother would preserve food for the winter and also for the summer. This truly was away a blessing for many family to make it through life. I love all your ideas that you present to your viewers you do a fantastic job with all of your crafting thanks so much keep up the good. (From South Carolina)
Love this idea. The ones you say are bottles remind me of dresses which is cool!
These are quite lovely, all of them! Like these so much better than the standard look. Thanks for some whimsical inspiration! 🤗❤️ Tamara
I love both yet the bottle is so free flowing I love that.
I’ve learned so much ❤❤❤
очень круто смотрится! и отличное дополнение в ежедневнике))) хорошего вам настроения!
Cute! And ‘shoulder’ makes sense to me.😊
Ooh! The 2nd shape kind of looks like a dress shape!
I love it when you cant think of the name of things. I just make up names, mostly thingy. I love the jars.
I like the mason jar shapes, the other reminds me of a strapless dress, both cute.
Your free torn Mason jars remind me of a dress😊. I love it, inspired again!
You make me laugh! I love your little joke comments. Hahaha! You should do it more often. Keep up with the amazing ideas you come up with. You are so creative.
I like both ways ....like the way you made them look different.
Oh my goodness! You come up with the most fantastic ideas! Gotta do it!
Absolutely beautiful! The ones you are calling bottles look like dresses to me and you’ve decorated them so wonderfully!
Your so talented and make the most beautiful projects. These bottles are gorgeous. I want to make these and also I want to make the journals from your other videos.
These are fabulous! I love all the ideas and the torn around edges!
I am still a canner so mason jars are in abundance in my house. These examples are so cute!
Wonderful!
LOL made me smile with the bird's accent. I'm a southern USA gal. Cute. I enjoyed the video.
Love ❤️ these Natasha. Some look like dresses 👗. Adorable! Hugs 🤗 Dee
I drink my water out of a mason jar everyday. I have always had a kindred love for them, and for reasons I can’t even explain. 😅 Loved your jars, all 30+ of them. Thanks so much for sharing. 💕🌈✂️📄🙌👏
Terrific idea Natasha ❤ I love both shapes and will definitely try making some.
Thank you for all the inspiration
Hugs. Maggie ❤️🤗🇨🇦❤️
The other ones you made look like strapless dresses! or one shoulder dresses.
Cute and creative jars!
Thank you for being awesome!
I was thinking the same thing!
I thought the samd thing!
I was thinking the same thing!
Me too, I thought exactly the same.
Yes! And I saw dressmakers' dress forms!
Thank you for another awesome video. I love your ideas and your humour, such a pleasure to watch xx 🥰
I think all of more adorable 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
love your idea--much more striking than a regular 'jar' cut out!!! You always have great ideas!!! TYFS
Thank you 🤗
Really like these. These are a clever idea. Great way to add a journaling spot. Thank you for sharing.
Love this!!! Reminds me of my grandmother.
This is such a versatile idea! I can imagine not only jars but teapots, mugs, Aprons, all sorts of shapes to use as bases!
I love the apron shape, will add that to my Pinterest board with kitchen themes, thanks (for recipe books etc)
Yes I agree, I like the bottle shape.
I agree the versatility of this idea is great by using other kitchen motifs…adding a decorated…with watercolors recipe card to the back would also add to the versatility! ❤
I just love watching all your videos, thank you so much for sharing your fun and creative ideas!
How cute and fun! I love the fairies and the little bird!
Thank you! 😊
Hello ! C'est vraiment très jolis. Merci pour cette belle idée de création !🥰👏
I love these!! I made 2 so far! I love the odd shaped ones, since they’re different. Love your voices - with the bird & butterfly! 😊
The one in the middle looks so much like a dress or apron to me. I absolutely love it. ❤️
