RM is the reason BTS is no.1 boy band in the world.. he's been through alot making his group "The Legend Group".

RM’s discography is incredibly diverse. I adore Wildflower from his previous album Indigo - a true masterpiece, but suggest Groin or Domodachi from the same new album as Come Back To Me for a taste of his more rap-centric style.

RM is the first member of BTS and their leader. He's a huge reason they've become so successful. He also speaks the most English. My personal favorite soloist from BTS is Jungkook. Enjoy this journey my friend! ❤ 😊 👍
Word to the wise -- don't ask which member is the favorite in any capacity.
95% of the fandom supports and loves them all equally and those questions usually only bring out the toxic 5% we call "solo stans."
Most fans have a "bias" though -- the member that resonates with them the most

RM is a poet first and foremost. He started as an underground rapper and was taking part in rap battles from a very young age.

RM is the leader of BTS. He speaks fluent English and has an IQ of 148. He’s an intelligent, poetic, philosophical mastermind.
If you enjoy deep lyrics and excellent rapping, he’s the dude for you.
I can’t praise him enough. A bonafide genius.
He has the most songwriting credits among the members of BTS and even writes songs for other artists.

This video is referencing the book The Midnight Library. The book follows a main character who is depressed. She tries to k!ll herself. While she’s unconscious, she is taken to The Midnight Library by “The Librarian” who takes her through different points in her life and shows her how her life would be if she made different decisions.
The MC travels through these different realities and sees how her life would be if she made the other choice. She realises that she wouldn’t be any happier. She is still depressed in all of these realities.
Here, RM explores his relationships with various people. His friends (party), his family (the crib), his lovers (the gf and wife).
He meets his version of The Librarian (the woman searching in the house) and recognises these same feelings in her. He’s been lost. He has felt out of place in all scenarios (the album is called Right Place, Wrong Person) and she is too. But she enables him to realise that he is responsible for his happiness.
At the end they walk into the world together and we see all the replicas of the sets (the different realities).
I’ve heard the video was based off the book but never have I heard such a good explanation thank you!!
RM is the reason I became interested in BTS (I heard him speaking before an American reward show and I became ' hopelessly devoted to him ' 😄(even though my name doesn't shows it)
I think 'Persona' and Wildflower ' would be good to get into RM's music .
Right Place, Wrong Person has been named the best album of 2024 so far by rolling stone and billboard magazines, it honestly deserves a grammy nom it's so good. RPWP is RM's second solo album and it's so raw and completely honest on how he feels in this moment in time. The video was filmed by Lee Sung Jin an emmy winning movie director who also directed Beef the Netflix series, one of the main actors was the guy trying to give RM the cigarette in the beginning.

Wildflower gets recommended a lot because it's a newer one. It's a beautiful song, but definitely is "RM light" and more of the lyrical side of him.
But he's historically known for tearing things up, especially when he's pissed.
My favorite song by RM is Persona -- it shows off his rap skills (from which he got his name Rap Monster) and his lyricism, combined with his deep-thinking default.
My second favorite is his song Joke, which is a burn so hard on his haters that they have yet to respond. It is packed with Korean idioms, double-entendres, and in and out of English Korean word play that it literally requires a breakdown video to catch it all.
RM is a poet and an artist. He strives to better know himself and his place in the world. He pushes himself to try new things--he reads a LOT, he listens to a wide variety of music, he visits art galleries and museums.

So a few things! First, thank you for the reaction to our genius RM, Namjoon, the leader of BTS and our president!! 💜 RM has many different styles so every solo you hear from him will be very different from each other. He's an incredible rapper, but also has a nice singing voice that we don't get to see often, so I loved it in Come Back to Me! All of the BTS members have solo music. The rap line, RM, J-Hope, and SUGA released a couple mixtapes over the years and the vocal line, Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, have done singles, some for k-dramas. In 2022 BTS announced that they were going on a temporary break as they were major burnt out and needed to find themselves again. So during that period they have all released solo albums and enlisted in the military as is mandatory in South Korea. Like Crazy and Standing Next to You were both from those albums. Come Back to Me is from RM's second official solo album that he pre-recorded and released recently even though he's currently in the military. They all love ARMY SO much and have prepared an insane amount of content for us!! Like it was just announced that Jimin's second solo album is coming out next month! I almost don't even have time to miss them lol.
Every single project RM puts out is different to the last. You can expect great production, but thats about all you can predict. He has been one of the biggest influences in every member having their own identity. He helped all the vocal line develope their early songs, very supportive. He is a big driver behind the experimentation and diversity of the BTS discography.. this song facinates yet hes describing depression, and emotional disconection. Compare this with WILDFLOWER and JOKE and LONELY To get an idea of his diversity
Hi, Thanks for your reaction to his work…RM is kinda an enigma because he is always trying new things, so you would never get tired with the sounds he use in the music, a true musical genius, he is a rapper but not just a rapper…his range is far wide.
Also, the video looks like a movie cuz was directed by Lee Sung Jin…so It’s pretty much a movie, but a really good one…
Sorry for being this long but i can’t contain when it comes to my boys…you also could react to J-Hope’s MORE mv, he’s another rapper in BTS, his voice is kinda raspy rich like it has so much texture in it…you May like it too…and you could hear jin’s song EPIPHANY, a true ode to selflove, you don’t know but you light need to hear it, like for your soul…and last but not least our good boy V, who has a barítone voice that is addictive, search for le jazz de V ir any of the songs from his álbum Layover…chill to the Max
well, as you can see those are seven súper talented guys in a group, that are so different but in the end they make all their talent work together

RM is the fluent english speaker among the group. This is a pre-release single off of his new album, Right Place Wrong Person released last May. Versatility you asked? Just listen to some more songs from his latest album and you will find that and even a lot more 😁 Wildflower is a great song to react to as well from his first solo album, Indigo.

The album this song comes from is a deeper dive into the indie vibes he's leaning into over the years. The album overall is quirky and reminds me of the indie scene around the turn of the millennium when I was in college.
Just watch some of those favorites questions. The toxic solo stans will come out of the woodwork and start nasty things in the comments.
