Many years ago I had an LC Torana with the 2600 motor, later I had an LJ with a 253 V8 but this? Oh, my word! Strangely it doesn't have the expected v12 sound, more big V8ish. Fantastic work squeezing that motor in there.
Oddly for a v12 it sounds more like a worked straight or v6 awesome. Is the Haltech the IC-7? I use them in all my street cars and I absolutely love the usability and functionally of them. I didn't do the electrical work as I'm no auto electrician, but I love what they are able to do. But as I write I'm thinking you used a Haltech engine management computer rather than the ic-7 dash😅 now that would be logical. Awesome work mate, I'd have lost my marbles trying to figure all that out. You guys are smart, I take my hat to you all 👍👍
My 'purist' mind said should have at least used a sedan shell rather than hack up a GTR coupé, but like Jays 4 rotor VL its thinking outside the box for something different to the norm.🤘🤘

Who in their right mind would put a shitbox POS euro crap motor in an LJ Torana?... That is an insult on that car, WTF is wrong whith an LS3 it would make much more power than that shitty body could handle without severe reinforcement, what traitor to keeping a General Mess car a General Mess... Absolutely Discussed!

Nicely done lads - beautiful build. I've been lucky enough to drive a Torana XU1 (many times) with a worked 350 Chev in it. It was absolutely bonkers.
