Back in 2003 my now husband (white) and I were dating and driving around a new city close to home, he threw a cigarette butt out of the car and we got pulled over. My husband complied fully and showed nothing but respect. He was then asked to get out of the car. That cop (white) was yelling and screaming at him,got him down on the ground and pointed a gun at him. I was screaming so badly that another cop came and diffused the situation but it was totally unacceptable, uncalled for and completely unprovoked. Some cops are just like that, they let the power go to their head.

Sorry, after reading my comment back I felt I needed to explain because everyone has challenges and I'm not wanting to insult anyone. In real estate, if wanting to work for Fannie or Freddie Mac as their real estate broker for foreclosed homes(2008-+) it was literally impossible. They only hired woman owned or minority. My dad had many many years of experience over most realtors who would be hired. Even the customer service department for applications would sate this and the packet that needed to be filled out was over 30 pages long. We considered having me take ownership so we would show woman owned & more likely I be hired even as a novice realtor and broker owner. I know nothing in life is fair and most humans have experienced something to this effect during life. I don't have all the solutions but hope we can work hard to come together as a country. Now I may have dug a bigger hole for myself on this. My heart literally hurts everyday because of all the tearing down of people who most like aren't perfect either. Cheers to a happy Saturday 😊

I watched a scientific thing one time and it explained that people from other races at times have a hard time identifying individual characteristics of other races. Do you know that also men aren't always ignoring women when they talk men hear better on a different frequency than women. Sometimes it's not always a hate thing. I myself don't really have a problem identifying people but some people do. I've heard other races besides white make that same comment.
