I can’t get the blind to snap in the bracket, they keep popping out of bracket! What do I do?

same problem. Did you figure the problem out? i'm wondering if some of the top of blinds are to thick , or the bracket is not big enough? Could it be a Manufacture defect on some of them.

Thanks Friend. My directions said to measure 7 inches from the end which I think would have put me inline for problems, IDK. After watching this video and looking at the top of my blind I think about 3 inches will work better with my 1st and hopefully last attempt. I like your video, quick, spot on and how could you mess it up with Chewy reading your directions to you. Thank-you, I think I was just trying to make this harder than it is....LOL, we'll find out in the morning...

Cant the brackets to click in place. Too stiff for the top. Broke 2 sets of blinds. Run into this?

My blinds do not click in so easily. Also my ceiling is way above the window so my brackets will be installed into the wall above the window. But now I’m confused as to which way to place the bracket on the wall. Ugh. DIY is not my friend.

To everyone who is still struggling to snap it in, I just found out why I wasn’t able to. It came with the wrong brackets. The right brackets should flair up wards to be able to hook to then be pushed backwards which makes the bottom part of the bracket snap into the bottom. For some reason the brackets I got were flared down and over it’s self making it impossible to snap on. They were even different than the brackets in the directions. So that may be the issue you are also having. I’m going back to Lowe’s to get an exchange and double checking the brackets before I leave. Hope this helps
I have 10 windows so I bought the cheaper 9.00 Plus ones. I have the exact same problem. I'm Going to check my brackets first by putting them on the top of blind before I even try to install them on the inside of the window. If they Click -Okay-if not then these are defective or made wrong by the manufacturer. Something so easy should not take so much time to install.

Yeah guys, I had the same problem trying to snap them in. I basically started at the bottom and held the bottom clip with my finger and then snapped in the top and finally got it.

I’m trying to fix the lifting mechanics with the blinds but I can’t get it to work, do you mind showing me how yours works
My screws not masonry bits are inoperable against the top part of my window. Any suggestions? I use Dewalt’s 20v impact driver. The screw and the masonry bits get stuck.
Is this drywall your screwing into? I know there is normally metal cornering (not the proper name) placed around widows before they mud and sand the drywall. Maybe your hitting that stuff?

@@ReynaldoIvanPena without seeing exactly what your looking at, I would say use a regular bit since a masonry bit is technically dull anyway and made specifically for masonry

What drill did you use? I need to get one so I can install my blinds
I just have a basic Ryobi One+ Cordless drill. (Any drill will do though)
I just had some Renewal by Andersen till in Widows put in, i did buy this same kind of blind at Lowes for $10, but haven't put them up yet, the trouble i see is, i just have the small wood molding around the widow to attach the bracket, i don't know if that's going to be a problem?
Hmm, it’s really hard for me to say for sure without being able to see what your working with..
@Wesley_Allen_NC yea I just have about an round inch of wood trim to work with along the side of the widow, I do see the bracket has a option of mounting on top, bottom so that may help, thanks. Subscribe to your Channel.

How do you get it sized before purchasing it?
I just measure the overall width and length of the window before purchase. Window sizes vary, but they make blinds for all widths and lengths.
I actually took the blind that I was replacing into lowes and had the guy help me. Well believe it or not the measurements on the box was not the same when me and the Guy in Lowes took it out of the Box and measured it.

I hate these blinds. Purchased them and cannot for anything get them to click in. I am so angry I want to scream. Nothing is catching and there’s no reason for them to not click in.
Agreed. The Walmart blinds seem easier to snap in. I'm so frustrated. Did you get the blinds installed?
same problem and my husband and I tried everything, I spent hours on 2 windows, and they still will not click in. There has to be a manufacture defect either on the Bracket or the Top thickness?
