Quick question. I noticed that a lot of people use scripts to acquire radar locks through controlled turrets, but would it be possible at all with scripting to acquire a radar lock from turret while it's automated. Ex: Slave several SA missiles or turrets to a single automated turret. Turret does all the acquisition and tracking and simply passes off the lock/gps to another ship?
+sharpshooter740 I can't answer that. You would need to read the API. But, afaik Turrets don't track long distance so getting locks from turret targeting would only work for close range missiles.

W4sted's Lotus is WAY more advanced though, implementing way more warheads and decoys into the mix to make sure more warheads get through for total annihilation! The ICBM missile silo was a nice touch of flavor though, I'll give him that.

William Wilson programmable blocks are only limited to the inventory and control panel of a grid, meaning that this would be impossible to do. Good idea though, maybe this'll be implemented in the future!
I really like that idea. I could definitely see that being used in a planetary war. What you could try to do is make like 3 more and have them all connected together so they all fire at the same time or staggered to deal with places with lots of Turrets.

The warheads don't follow a ballistic arc so it's not really an Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile. Much more similar to a cruise missile. ICCM is a weird name but works nonetheless. Fantastic concept overall.
Have the solid nude cone break apart into 20-30 solid blocks to help deflect fire. Also has added bonus that blocks make cause kinetic damage if they get through
Very nice. From what I saw, the thruster assembly survives intact to make impact. Add a nuke to it as well and it will do more than just be a late hitting kinetic.

You could have the nose spin and split up like the payload which could act as a masking sysem for the auto turrets, and if any manual turrets who don't know what they should be looking to shoot, those turrets too.

My mind was blown by how he dispersed the explosives, i expected the missile to just come apart without any real spread. Glad to be proved wrong, great missile sire. Edit : Maybe you could intersperse more decoys among the warheads themselves, so you get a good spread of them as well.

Built 30 of these on a server. Launched over 300 missiles in a hr . wiped all the major clans. Bwahahahahaha. No one expected the mad scientist in the mountain!
This is the first one I watched but anyone ever make a interplanetary missle? Also how do these work out vs other players. i would think that they are slow enough to be intercepted mid flight.
Zakeraka Gaming Depends on the speed. The turrets have a speed at which they can intercept certain stuff. Standard missiles launched from turrets go at about 250m/s. Turrets have a hard time playing point defense. So they would have an easier time dealing with warheads at 100m/s

No. You want the full enemy fire concentrated as far away from the warheads as possible.
You can use sensors to explode warhead. For big grid i use 5m in radius. It more cheaper and effective

this uses ballistic missile script. its a very old build and does not work anymore. looking at an improved version soon

That must be done through an antenna, and is not possible to do via programmable block :)

String 3 silos together, and link all to fire in succession on a 3 second timer.

I'm no physics professor, so that is alien to me. But simplified, turrets can sometimes turn faster than the warheads and hit them.
If they had multiple turrets on that little shitty base.
If they were alert and prepared, yes, they could.
But this is a sound concept for a simple method
