Good stuff for everyone! Even experts like us, it's a good reminder of things. I can't wait for more family control. Giving full control to your kids is CRAZY!!!
hi. thanks for your videos. is there a way to turn on/off cameras in Homekit? (without going to recording settings in/ out) something like simply a button like the ones form lights and switches or simply "Hey Siri, turn camera on/off"?? Thanks
I wish, that'd be great. it's not possible from the home app. you could put them on a smart plug and use the plug to turn the camera on/off but no direct way. Thanks for watching! 😊
@@AdamsTechLife yes you can see them when you put a light into a zone, or if you go and look for it. But you can’t have a zone as a button. The scene workaround works. But it’s a workaround. I literally want to turn off a zone. I should be able to press a button to do that. Why would anyone want to turn off each individual light in their kitchen/great room? We want to hit a button and turn that entire “zone” off. That’s why we set it up into a zone.
Good afternoon, I use HomeKit and there is such a problem: When setting up automation by geolocation, my House displays the wrong address, when I changing the address, my wife is automatically thrown out of automation.Pls help(
@@AdamsTechLife I did enabled on iPad but it's not showing on HomeKit ? can you take video show me its not working(are you use security camera or ur iPad camera)

Great video. I’m trying to setup a scene where two plugs turn on and then 10 seconds later another plug turns on. Is that possible?
Dont believe so in the native home app, may be possible wirh home + 5. Thanks for watching! 😊
Woah! I had no idea about the PiP with HK cameras! I also didn't know you can use Siri to pull up HSV recordings. Good stuff Adam!
So glad to hear you learned something new! Thanks for watching! 😊

I wish you could see the zones in the app. I want to sometimes press a button in the app to turn on or off a zone.
You can see zones in the app, I demoed this. But you can also create a scene to turn on/off zones. Thanks for watching! 😊

I'm not sure on location issues, those are always tricky 😬 Thanks for watching! 😊
how do put in HomeKit Picture in Picture
make sure settings enabled, go to live view of any camera and go to home and it'll start playing. i believe only ipad and apple tv.

Pretty sad you can not use an apple computer to do homekit...
the home app is available for the mac to control and manage devices but you can only add new devices from and iphone or ipad
@@AdamsTechLife and that is whati am referring to... WHY??? Pretty scummy of apple ... The same is with Siri you have to have a phone or pad...
