- So decided to bring my pedal bike back out on the streets after its been sitting for sometime. This is what made the E-bike community grow as it was cheap and affordable. Not to mention, Sold at your local Costco! The Jetson Bolt Pro is one you couldn't pass up.. It's compact size and the ability to fold and storage when the time is needed is a win! Yes, that is the best feeling right there to be able to go to speed limit that you want to when you need to so much fun people look at my bike like a little kids bike. I look at my bike like a motorcycle.
Oh love it I’m going in that direction as well. I’m connecting a 72 V system but of course this is gonna take so much money in time but just you guys out there love the speed just like me it’s never worth risking your life or someone else’s to just do a mod to go faster to be more turkey torque please keep in touch. It’s a very good that you got the helmet on. I have a Jetson j5 electric bike and at 30 miles an hour this bike can get very sketchy. It’s also very fun. I just can’t see wanting to even go past 30 miles an hour unless I have four motorcycle gear on I was very surprised to find the Jetson to be the electric bike for me and not want to get crazy with speeds that could cause me or somebody else to have an accident
I went a different direction with my Pro. First I made a list of what was wrong, then I went about solving each of those issues. It now has 20 inch front suspension forks, and BMX bars with a 9 inch rise. This makes the bike about 4 inches longer and about the same taller from the pedals, keeping the 170mm crank arms from scraping the ground. This also makes the bike a lot more stable to ride.
I replaced the tires with Kenda K50s. I lost maybe 0.5 mph, but I gained TRACTION. The longer arms are on a 46 tooth crank. I swapped out the stock battery for a 14 aH, and next week I will be putting the 6 aH in a "scooter bar bag" and hooking it up via a 3 way toggle mounted on the main battery housing.
I dressed it in blue. grips, pedals, the plastic coil that protects the wiring, and the MTB fenders.
Now it it a totally comfortable ride that I can curb hop, or take through gravel, without eating shit. Much more suited to the state of Canadian roads.

I would like to know everything about the Jetson. This is my new electric bike. It’s probably gonna be with me until I pass away getting it to speed of 30 miles an hour is amazing but safety is the most important part. It’s not getting it to 30 it’s about how you get it to 30 miles an hour, because if you do it the wrong way you can heat up and burn everything out so we must be responsible here. There are other people who can pay for our mistakes. I love the fact that you upgrade your Jetson and that you’ve been consistent with your videos, please if you have any tips and tricksplease pass them along. I will subscribe I will like and of course just reply. Thank you and amazing job. Amazing job you did getting the Jetson to speeds safely without blowing up is a positive direction in the right area

Put a BMX handlebar and a folding turtleneck and BMX stem combo. I did it to my Lectric XP Lite and put street tires. I got better handling, better look and feel now.

Youtruther has some decent step by step vids, as does Shiva Sapkota. The second guy's wiring work is a little sloppy, but he is good at explaining shit, and links his parts and tools under the videos.

Any tips you have about this Jetson please pass over and if you have any batteries for sale I’m looking for a 48 V 12ah for my Jetson that’s it but it seems like everybody wants to charge you like $500 for a battery. Unbelievable we have a Jason community and here we have a Jetson person like me who needs help buying a battery so he could just last longer out there in the community New York City keep doing what you’re doing great
