Hi. Just got mine last night. Works well when on, however manual peddling with power off is sluggish and laboriously to the point of me walking it when battery dies. Is that normal or should Jetson Bolt Pro be no more difficult to ride than a normal bike with power off?
It’s the only way to unlock the bolt pro for now. You can probably hook up a slave 4 pin Bluetooth module and unlock it that way. I haven’t tested that scenario yet.

I have a great idea as long as you're trustworthy. Lots of people are looking for the Bluetooth module. You should rent yours out. Collect a $100 deposit, send the controller to customer (like me) let them back their bike and ship it back to you and you just refund like 60-70 bucks or something. Obviously if they don't return it you keep the 100. How does that sound?
The original bolt has the Bluetooth….the pro doesn’t have one. Jetson removed the BT on the pro, but used the same controller for both bikes… so you can change the max speeds

No need for that. On the left crank there is a wire going in to the crank. By the crank arm there is a ring and socket. Pull ring out and operates with throttle control, just like an ebike.

you need to jailbreak your iphone to be able to install the older version of the jetson app. if you have an android phone or tablet -- you need the 6.2.7 version to be able to change the speed
Are there any part numbers on the Bluetooth module? or on the board inside the shrink wrap maybe able to order specific Bluetooth module from China

Yeah. It's normal. The bike is heavy and pedaling takes some effort when going uphill. It's easy when the road is flat.
the motor assist should kick in once you start pedalling ... you might have a bad unit... send it back and get a replacement
My jetson bolt pro has no pedals the batterys way better and I last a lot longer and has more power
Really? So you need two bikes to get the pro to go 19? Not all that practical.

Or try calling the jetson and ask if it's possible to get a "new module for your bike because it's not working".
You can also increase your speed by pedalling faster.

Nope. That only works when there’s resistance. If the bike’s motor is at its top speed, pedaling is against no resistance and does not speed you up.

You can try sourcing a Bluetooth module with 4 pins … I bought one from Amazon but never got a chance to test it

@@ray8569 use jetson app v 6.2.7 … launch the app… When you have the app open…click on the gear icon on the upper right corner.
