Another tip, don’t be worried about spending money, I learned that overtime if I didn’t worry about my money I’d go to more places, catch more fish, and have way more money than just staying at the same lake. Chances are you are going to travel to different lakes with different prices and just try to earn more than double the travel cost in 2 or more days.
The only youtuber that is just chill and hyper enough for me to keep watching
I just hit level 33 tonight and stumbled across this video while looking up some info on kayaks. Lot of good, solid information in here and one or two I need to brush up on. So, yeah, noob or veteran, it's helpful information to know and as a refresher from time to time. Thanks.
Thanks for the video. 6:30 you've got a common snook there, one of those low money fish, like $26 bucks a pound. Gar might be the worst pound for pound. Right before I came to this video, I repaired ALL my rods and reels, head slap.
Number 4 and 5 is very important, efficiency is the key. Time spent versus the money you make. You got yourself a new sub, good videos man.
My biggest thing is buying certain rods that don't go with certain reels, and lines, that compensate for the type of bait you use or fish you're trying to catch.
that wrap up at the end is a nice touch. I wish other channels would do that.

Hey Bo, i got the bass boat explorer pack and I’ve been using a medium spoon and there was a few days where I’d catch a few uniques and now I can’t catch anything. I’m trying to get to level 30 and I’m level 28 right now, any tips would be appreciated!!

my respond..keep the fish and release for better catch.. i have released fish that was cheap and then cant fill net.. using the same lure at st croix, no issues with lure but peak time n location. emerald lake.. no time for lure.. 2 rods out in the back.. non stop action literally all night.. extra days is a MUST.. No exceptions.. i camp 7 nights
All great points, especially the extra days camping, that I can’t stress enough as being one of my biggest mistakes early on. If I could offer some advice too it would be to upgrade your keep net to the largest you possibly can, as soon as you can. Each upgrade will speed up your money making considerably as you can catch more fish and larger sizes in one location so you are spending a lot less on travel costs and can really maximise your potential earnings from 1 trip.
when you're full it doesn't make any sense you have to come back home selle the fish and pay an other extra 4900 to go to falcon another time.
I don't now how you can " stay at a location " multiple day is only to fill the net no ?
@@StrikerGuilde That’s not correct. When the day moves onto the next you automatically sell the contents of your keep net. This allows you to keep fishing the same location for a fraction of the price.
@@ChristopherSmith-qv3pm Was confused why I would stay an extra day if I’m filling up my net on Day 1 and then not have space to fish Day 2 . If it sells all contents that makes much more sense. I’m going to make a lot more money now haha .

I've noticed that just changing the color of the casting spoon can change the bite rate.
You help me a lot with number 2 and number 5 trick ,that i didn't watch this video i wouldn't be in profit now 5k on lvl 10 on mudwater for only 30mins😵,so all beginners need to watch this and subscribe to this master of fishing,ty again...❤️💪🏻

Im still at level 26 but I love fishing walleyes. All I do is just use my fishing stand and wait for the bells to ring while doing other stuff. And still getting big money. 😂
Hey i js started maybe 2 days ago and im starting to learn how to cast but eveytime i cast it breaks, and i cant find the reason for it🤷🤷

That's funny you just said your repairing your gear to much and I thought yeah I just did and probably didn't need to. Well I'm also playing the game while watching UA-cam videos about it and right after you said that I got a fish so paused the video and got my fish. Right when I went to cast my quiver tip broke during the cast lol. I was like wow IDK about that advise now LMAO but yeah I agree though I'm spending too much on repairs but just thought that was pretty funny how that all went down!

My reel is stuck spinning so fast u can't catch a fish,just like I'm holding x to reel fast but I'm not how do I fix it
Say your net is max 200 kg or lbs and it's at 201 when you catch a valuable fish, press Y and remove a cheap fish over 1 kg/lbs from your net.
Your net will now be white again and "KEEP" lit up.
You can keep doing this getting just under max weight, catch a biggie and get over by a lot. =)
Edit: This obviously doesn't work with a stringer.

After 1 day your fish sell
Your fish will sell at 5 am everyday
I run 4 bottom rods with small minnows. It works very well in most places. I can make 8k a day in lonestar with bass. Walleye are ridiculously profitable with this setup.
But - it's not by the day, it should be by the hour.. every 10 minutes... Playtime is the common denominator - Thats how you find your true value.
@@BoAngles I think that 8k is in one hour roughly. Just fishing in the peak. My whole strategy needs improvement but that's why I'm looking at what others are doing.

I believe that the more damaged your gear is, the more each point of repair costs. So you might want to repair early and often.
So you’re saying that repairing 10% will be more expensive than 5%? Yes I believe that would be accurate. However, if you spend $5k repairing a rod- which could have gone towards a new, better rod to replace it… then why did you waste $5k on a rod you’re not going to use anymore?

I like to repair as quick as I can because it can get too expensive if I leave it to late
It’s going to be the same amount of money whether you wait til it’s at 60% (-40%) or if you pay twice at 80% (-20% x2) durability. So you’re really just spending money up front when you don’t have to

Only to play the game,, without spending real money., and just having a game that is enjoyable unti it gets boring or so difficult. . When you are a new starter puts people off.....trying to help people off the bat, and they're like.. nope.. this is a really cool game.. but I need to be level 40 and above to catch. Perch nah.. my wee girl is 5.. and can catch them in her holiday net.. lol

Up the drag, and try not reeling when they’re pulling out line, they’ll just pull out more line
I wish the game helped you more, but I feel like it wants you to screw up so you need to pay money to fix your screw up. I just wanted to try a new lure and ended up buying a rod and reel that then wasn't quite what I needed for the lure so you need to keep buying to figure out the right combo, then once you get thst sorted I had no clue if I was fishing the lure the right way as I didn't catch anyhting or really know why or anything. I also got a tackle box thing at level 5 and have no clue hoe to even equip it to hold more stuff. Fun game, but P2P part of it is a kick in the nutz!

It costs more money to fix your gear the less percentage it has so I'd rather spend 2000 to fix it instead of 10,000
@@Edgecrusher-qx2cv well that’s why it’s a common mistake, who’s to say by the time it breaks you even need that rod/reel anymore? Why would you keep spending money on something you may not even need by the time it reaches 0%? You could be saving all that money to buy your next rod/reel upgrade.
If it costs $1000 to repair for every 1%… it’ll cost the same whether you repair 3% durability 10 times, or 30% durability all at once.
Can I play w/ a controller
Using casting rods while having alot of other rods out is a bad idea most of the time, casting rods only gives you fish while using and not while pulling up fishes whit other rods. So better just switching only casting/bunch of other rods. But at lower lvls a rod is a rod and the more used the better.
So you think it’s best to stand there waiting for a bite from a bunch of bottom rods than actively fishing while waiting?
@@BoAngles Sure depends on that wait time but yes. It's only good while using it so take 5 min or something and see how much of that time the rod is active. Most of the time for me atleast it ends up to barely nothing.
@@P4hko maybe at a later level- as I’m fishing for catfish on Marron River, casting on the side wont do too much for me. But for a beginner at emerald, having 1 feeder rod out and one rod casting at the same time is a Huge benefit.

I played Fishing Planet a while back. Does it still cost a fortune in real money to play it?
It never cost any money to play it- we have an entire free-2-play series to follow if you want
I’ve been playing FP for quite a while on and off. I’m level 21 (soon to be 22) and I’ve never felt the need to spend real money. Progression is fairly steady and there’s more than enough variety of locations and fish available even at this level to have a good time. Whether I’m throwing 30mins or a couple of hours at the game it’s possible for me to catch a few good fish and all of the gear I’ve purchased was using in-game currency.

the game should do a better job of explaining how day skipping works... and that the fish in your net are magically sold at the end of each day...

this is why this game turns me off.. having to repair y9r clothes and the rest of your gear? seriously? and then catching fish that puniashes you becuase of the small amoount of money they give you, and it gets worse the more of them you catch or higher lvl you get. you cant just fish for the sake of it if you want without losing money. ugh. yea. this blows.
Nah there comes a point in the game where you can definitely fish anywhere you want without worrying about money. Otherwise- there’s plenty of fishing games where you can just fish wherever and whenever you want, but those game suck because there’s no point or challenge
