So glad I found your channel not many people really explain fishing planet well like you can great info! Yes money per min is how most games operate sturgeon is such a good grind I stay 7 in game days for sturgeon at night and carp during night/day having a 550lb keep net helps so much 110lb per fish
My not so humble opinion is that the number one mistake of people playing FP is only focussing on maximizing money and XP and not on actually having fun playing the game. ;P
Having said that, I'm going to be hypocritical and wondering how interesting it would be to see how Trophy Alligator Gar at Quanchkin would stack up. They are really easy to farm too.
I was going to say the same thing. What is everyone rushing to level 80 for? Catching giant fish on giant setups is the same as catching comparatively large fish on small setups. I much prefer just taking my time and trying to catch every fish in each location, complete missions and not worry too much about getting to the end of the game. I'm currently level 44 so there is plenty to keep me busy.
I totally agree and have the same mindset, however every time I try playing just for the fun of it I find myself broke with no money and end up back to grinding😂
Yup, rotate on the sturgeon holes too, I get 2-3 fish and then move otherwise it's too slow.
Yeah… I think we tested this during a livestream and found that the travel time took quite a hit on your $/min compared to just staying in one place
@@BoAngles go to shore, bottom rods, spawn sacks for bait, and put 3 rods in holder and one in hand. put time on 21.00 catch one sturgeon, throw rod back in asap, and when u strike the second one dont reel it in all the way keep it at 7-9m away until u hear another rod biting and then pull it out. imediately throw rods back in and skin to 23.00 do the same and skip to 01.00 do the same and skip to 03.00 peak time really doesnt matter they bite in 30s to 2min at worst. u can fill a 200kg keepnet in a night easily, and get 20k+ from it. fastest method I've tried by a longshot.
@@Mario-iq4qz that sounds pretty complicated, but I think it’s essentially what we’ve always done, except that they used to not let you change time with rods out, so we would keep the kayak close by to reel all the rods in quick
@@BoAngles sounds more complicated because im mostly a dumbass at keeping it nice and short 😂 yeah its the basic strat but i thought i was smart for waiting with hooked sturgeon to hook one more on 2nd rod so 200kg net is full

Funny fact in 2017 everybody went to upper locations but I staid at Mudwater to grind 250 catfish easily , and when i got finally at emerald lake , eerybody was standing at the platform but i was in my canoe fishing at night ..............cocnclusion : 99% is talking about money and levelling but they forget the challenges at your profile at the right. I see the game more of leisure relaxing time after a hard day of work . Anyway great videos and i can't wait for Japan greetings from the Netherlands
I came a a like realization just the other day. I had stopped playing as the grind was becoming to rough and was always finding myself going back to other lakes to fish for more money to go to newer lakes, which was taking longer. 1 quick trip to villa, and I realized that you don't need to catch the biggest fish to make bank. It helps, but you can do just as well just grabbing anything and everything. Have a lot more fun doing that too. Sure, I would prefer to just catch bass, but when I logged off last night, bass had slowed down, I'll probobly go catch some sunnies and if that drops, go after some carp, or the catfish. What ever fills the keep net and empties my tackle box.

I usually just grind out Trophy/Unique Redear Sunfish and Unique Crappie at Neherrian, Easy money maker. Especially with me owning an unlimited license there.
That is interesting, I've never heard that one before! You should time out 3, 10 minute trials and compare that to Walleye, for instance, and tell me what the findings are.
@BZHub 10min trials done.
1st trial redear: 2,200xp with around $4500
2nd trial crappie: 2,250xp with around $4800
3rd trial crappie and redear: 2,850xp with around $5200
(This is all done from highest fish activity times with premium account)

yes, dollar per minute is correct. no matter what you catch, if your after money, catch as fast as you can
Could you add into the F2P series 2, the different ways to add exp bonuses, as you only explained the barbless hooks bonus. And are unable to find hard numbers and definitive information on what does or does not effect this.just to add, I'm also on console, but should have nil effect...❤😊

I just enjoy the game so I go to places that I don't know yet and fish whatever I can fish after grinding for a whole week to reach level 40+ and I don't care about money anymore at that point 🤣🤣

I'm pushing almost a mil in game cash, and a shite ton of baitcoin, simply by going to places i enjoy and catching what ever bites. i'd have a alot more cash and such had i not got caught up in the meta grind bs.. chase'n gear and lvl s for what? to burn out on the game and not return for a few years.. being broke cause i just leveled and bought new flashy junk that same as I have with some more durability.. got mad and gave up on that.. now I'm happy, regular player, and becoming richer and richer.. i'd say the biggest mistake is not valuing your own time/joy in the game. so what if your not max lvl gear.. just play have fun, bring/make friends and giver shite man
@@PapaWraiths it is a good message- and one I constantly remind people of throughout the game, but if you made UA-cam videos, and were asked almost daily what to do at ‘x’ level and your answer was always, “have fun, don’t worry about it.” They’d just look for another channel for help! 😆

Well my best guess is that the packs give you rods and gear, not fish😭 maybe try switching locations?

I think the biggest mistake is.. ie. Paying for entering emerald lake 3000 and you didnt read about fishes so you dont know that you need hook12 for bluntnose 😂🤦🏻♂️ and the rest of equipment is useles for anything... only one you can do... going home witkout 3k 😂

🤣😂Why ya all think so much in a game just play it with your brains off whenever you can no matter how much time or else thats all there is lol... are you all in a hurry somewhere it's not the end of the game i just play it with one-rod cash out every about 4 hours of play 550 pounds of fish at lvl 35 at the moment and im ok with that not in a hurry nowhere i just bought a package with green boat and making lvls and cash for a month at Mississippi river and I'm not going to be doing what many people do playing with 4-5 rods at once that's just stupid to fast and unreal i dont like that i like realistic gameplay i dont care about even more cash even more XP i care more about lots of AFK time and fish easy slow real pace 4 hours at a time possibly ill do 2-3 rods later on at a time when ill buy Congo pack and there is it i dont want to run around like crazy sweating playing with 4-5 rods no fun in this youe eyes and hands will brake and you will get tired of the game fast LOL hahaha get a job even part time and get a boat pack its so much fun at lvl 25 going to rivers 50lvl+
