I'm disturbed by the thought of Ramba Ral receiving a Gift of Nurgle! @_@' But, this is one damn fine looking Bugu. The use of gaming miniature techniques highlights the value of blending styles and tools from related hobbies to achieve something unique. @@frostedsnow Very much so! When I saw the title in the begining and then the bright green I had my doubts. But by the end this came out amazing and would fit right in in the grim dark. I suddenly need a Gouf in Ultramarines livery lol.
You're blowing my mind with spraying the enamel-based wash all over the kit. I'd be super worried it would seep into joints and cause cracking of the plastic!
As with the arm joint in the video, it did crack some of the joints that didn't get covered w lacquer. Long as you cover every surface with lacquer first, it'll be okay!

Nice work! I love it when I see others applying techniques from the miniature-painting world to Gunpla, my style is pretty far from Grimdark, but this Bugu is real fierce-looking 10/10

Wet palette doesn't work with any enamel or lacquer. You can leave them on palette but it will not alter nothing. It only works for water based acrylic, polyurethane such as all citadel and Vallejo range except for Liquid gold range.

Question for you and Cookie: If you could become ace mobile suit pilots, which mobile suits (including Gundams) would you most want to pilot? I've have a hard time picking, but I could name a couple.
Kshatriya for me since the original pilot is female resonates more w me. Shinanju is Kughee's fav suit so maybe that?

Good choices all around! I think my first choice would be Tallgeese III (I mean, it has the coolest cannon ever, plus a heat rod!), and if we’re talking Universal Century, I think I’d be torn between my own custom Gouf, Kämpfer, or maybe the Crossbone Gundam.

I think I might be zeon because I love more of the Zaku designs than Gundams. Except Wing, but there are no zaku in that.
In wing I believe the Leo is at least in spirit a Zaku.

Is it possible to use Tamiya / Mr Hobby acrylic paints with the wet palette?
I have some suspicions that Tamiya/Mr Hobby "acrylics" are not 100% acrylic paints 😅
I haven't worked much with them, but same suspicion as well, if it's not water-based, then no! Even my oil paints were actually water based oils

Great paint job! I'm not sure there's enough skulls on it for it to be warhammer though. I mean, how could anyone tell whether or not you're in the grim darkness of the far future without skull emblems on everything, or giant piles of skulls? :)

To be fair, this is how every mecha supppsed to looks like after long time in duty.
How is this nurgle or deathguard? No iconography, or styling. It's a nicely weathered model for sure but saying its deathguard is not correct.
It's not even the right green for that. The closest marine color scheme would be Salamanders
