Himeji Castle Tour Part One | The largest castle in Japan

Hi Everyone,
In this video, Lets take a look at Himeiji castle; the largest castle in Japan.
Himeji castle, otherwise known as Shirasagijo or simply, the White Heron, is an Edo period castle that started as a 14th century hilltop fort. It was also the location used in the hit movie Shogun. Shogun was made in 1980 and a remake also released in 2024.
Located in Hyogo Prefecture, it is one of Japan's original castles and underwent an extensive five year restoration to repair the walls and roof before being reopened to the public in 2015. The castle is a must see for any Japanese castle lover.
