One of the best videos I've seen on youtube. Great cinematography, calm and slow pace to really put emphasis on the patience needed to complete a craft such as this. Endless patience and beautiful craftsmanship. Thank you!
Holy flip you actually made the bow I requested!!! I can't even begin to explain how excited I am. You truly are skilled. Thanks for making this- I will use it as a guide when I one day make my attempt at it.
@@rabeesyed6629 still not working on it, as I' working on a wooden one (will be my first self made bow, and is mostly for practice in making bows). Figured it would be smart to try bowmaking with wood before I try making one out of antler. Still gathering pictures of museum pieces, and got a design I like

Wow, I am spechless again! Bilding such a bow is hard anyway and affords an incredible amount of patience, dedication and knowledge. Brading this unbelievable long sinew cable for the backing in itself probably took hours. But doing it outsides with temperatures below freezing, I guess, ain't no picnic! Another amazing project of yours!
Amazing !thank you .when I was young I was given a pair of snowshoes handmade at the eklutna school , I sure wish I still had them as Sid Huntington is an Alaskan legend ,yet so humble. I loved the time I spent in Ak .
Out standing you were extremely patient and showed everything each step- your a great teacher and you didn't need to say a word, it was clear as a bell- You teach like the elders do.
Loving It. ❤️ Thank You , I thank Your Ansestors , Great Mother's and Great Father's, Blessed are we that know the old Ways. May all your days be blessed old Friend.
Yours are my favorite videos to date on the internet . You communicate so much without saying a word . Your gift of knowledge and craftsmanship is a beacon to return to our ancestors ways ! Live long and may you always find water and shade Master Boyer

So incredibly awesome!! Words can’t express how grateful and excited I am about this video! Where did you find your information on how to make this bow? So cool!!
Mr. Stiliyan Stefanov never cease's to amaze me. But this time his craftsmanship is astounding! I can't praise his Skill and Knowledge enough. He is truly on another level! When I think about it he is in a CLASS all his own. I am like so many of these folks, I am in awe of his skills. especially under these harsh extreme conditions. With this said i am now a subscriber.
Absolutely Superb my friend, wonderful atmosphere and feeling to this video and an amazing bow, so historically correct. As I agreed with our friend Tibor, you are a master...
Thank you for yet another absolutely magic creation of an atmospheric video! you never disappoint. Making foolproof bows in arctic temperatures that can shoot both ways is more than cool 😎
Pagan revival is great in Bulgaria and to the entire Balkans .Such a shame that it is so little known of this very ancient European culture .Thank you for opening a little window to your rich folklore and history ,Surely all Pagans are connected spiritually ,so nice to find those who follow the Old Ways .Blessings Brother )O(
So schön danke für das Zeugnis dieser Kunst die du beherrschst 😊 und auch weitergibst wissen für alle zu bringen ist eine der schönsten Taten die ein Mensch machen kann
Wonderful, your workmanship, knowledge & tremendous skills. Under such primitive environment attests to your knowledge & abilities. A blessing for us to watch you and you to share. Thank you kind sir for sharing with us.👍🏹 .
That was pretty cool to watch and I definitely learned a few things. As I was watching I thought for sure it would end up strung the other way more like a recurve. I still wonder how it would of performed if done that way.
This is some proper bronze age shit Stilyo. Congratulations on another masterpiece completed and a fantastic short film to go with it. Never stop what you're doing - please!
Прекрасни видеа. Харесва ми да те гледам, когато имам възможност. Невероятно себеотдаване, търпение и умение. Още повече, че съм те виждал как боравиш с лък преди години в София. Поздрави!

I'm from NW Wisconsin and it routinely gets to -40 in the winter. It's been a long time since I've lived there but you can always tell the real cold by the sound. You're working in some proper cold temps!
@@StiliyanStefanov that's cold enough! My mother made my father a jacket like yours out of a Pendleton wool blanket. It went past his knees. We were loggers and farmers so spent a lot of time out in the snow.
Absolutely beautiful work, the only question I have is would it do better to wet to sinew and then wrap it? This would allow it to naturally tighten as it dries out and form a bond that would last forever. My walrus hunting spears appear to have all been wrapped wet so that they dried tight
where did you get the skills and knowledge to do such good workmanship this must have taken years of hands on hard work and tons of research, this art is being lost to time we are becoming so dependent on technology that one day when it is gone we will be doomed by our lack of knowledge of our own history not knowing how to do this sort of workmanship it is very good that you are keeping our history alive for us sir and for this I thank you sir for your time and patience and workmanship may your knowledge live on forever by passing it on to someone ells.
This is a fantastic piece, I’ve never seen such a detailed recreation of a bow in this style. Thank you for sharing your craftsmanship and knowledge
Wow , I have never seen this style sinew backed bow being made , thank you for your expert craftmanship and keeping this knowledge alive ♥

very cool bow. i know this is how the inuit bow is made. but i would love to see it strung up the other way and shot.
I bet that sinew tasted lovely 😊 beautiful bow

Awesome video awesome bow
nice work. But I live in a place that gets very humid in summer - that sinew would not be tight for very long. Perfect for the arctic circle
Holy damn!!!!! You kick ass!!! I have same saw n love your jacket.
Its a very nice cable backed bow
Great!
yes, beautiful. But doesn't that bow look as if it should be stringed the other way round?
Mahtava! Incredible build! Have you ever done a Saami bow? Would love to see a video about that. 👍
I agree! The two wood laminate one, done with natural glues, wrapped in birch bark!
I've been wanting to make an Eastern inuit style bow like this but it looks like you beat me to it
