Great video, now Walmart will drop cutting boards quicker than you can say FLETCH-TITE or Duco. On the belly I would have used Brown shoe polish. 🏹🏴☠ Thank's for the video.
Belo trabalho!
@@IndianaBows You must have made a lot of bows in your time huh. You make it look so easy but in reality there are so many nuances and unforeseen issues that come up from time to time and yet you are able to work through them and complete a real work of art. I am impressed !
My First bow was in 1992 or 93. I was 9 or 10 years old. I little time from there to here, and a Lot of Bows certain. 😉 You should see my other vídeos. ☺️
She opens the door with a big knife in her hands!!! But this is a really great way to make your own bow. Low cost, no expensive tools, no real complicated way to build. It looks great, ans as far as I can see it also shoots great!
The new bamboo laminates are so cheap and good quality I built a long bow from a floor board which was very effective. Hard to cut though tough on tools.
@@IndianaBows Yes, very interesting. Although I arms and recurves being held on by glue and bound string concerns me a little. I wonder if they would break after some time.
@@JBplumbing12 well, the bow has already more than a year, and still working good. Of course sometime It Will break. Everything breaks. But for now, It's holding ok. 👍
Beautiful workmanship mate. While bamboo's an amazingly resilient "Organic spring", personal experience has taught me that it can be an incredibly uncooperative material to use in any woodworking projects, so I tend to avoid using the stuff. but you somehow made working it look absurdly easy........... And for that I hate you, but I'm also in awe of your talents. 😁
Pleeeeese beef up the bench and lock down the vise. That wiggle-waggle is making me crazy! Boy are you gonna get it when your wife comes home and finds out you cut up her favorite bamboo cutting board!

Nice to see someone construct something using hand tools properly and not expensive power tools to so simple jobs . Nice bow 👍
