People always tend to hate a new iteration of a car when it comes out. Maybe it's just human nature to not appreciate the good things we have until its gone. I'm sure the S550 had its fair share of criticism from hardcore Mustang fans back in 2016, with its shift towards a "modern" design and dropping the simpler live rear-axle in favour of independent rear suspension. While I do like the S197 generation (2013-14 GT500 is my favourite modern muscle car), I recognize that given the times we live in, I'm glad Ford actually took the time, effort and money to release a new/refreshed Mustang rather than kill it off unceremoniously like the Camaro or Challenger.
I love your take. Owning a 5.0 has been on the bucket list and my dream car since I use to ride around in my Uncle's 5.0 as a kid. I will say I wasn't a fan of the insides in the last gen. I thought they could have done better with the radio and gauges and I guess they decided to do that in this new gen. I love my two large iPad screens in my 2024 GT base lol. I just can’t believe ford kept the same weird two tone leather scheme and the SAME interior door layout like how?! This is supposed to be a completely new gen and they played it really safe imo.
Ford wanted to do a complete redesign but due to climate crybabies pushing to go ev cost them 4.5 billion this year alone in losses. they made up for it but cheaping out on this by using more plastic and limiting power, all while using parts with serial numbers from last gen. Nice review. The one observation on the black trim: All the stuff that is blacked out fades into the background. It doesn't stand out. Wouldn't you want your product name to stand out? Finishing the emblem and exterior trim parts in chrome accents the car and makes it pop more. Black wheels are in the same boat. Plus, the black finish is more prone to visible surface scratches and other blemishes than wheels painted silver are. Back to the screens...I like the extra gauges that are on the right panel, but since it is all configurable, why not offer some of those gauges in the layouts in the left screen instead of just the fuel and temp gauges? They've got space to easily fit in the voltmeter and oil pressure gauges on each of those layouts for better visibility and interest to the driver.

@@SuperThatguyloloh but I have my guy. I’ve had plenty. And a few mustang 5.0 V8’s. But I just appreciate what can be done these days with the EcoBoost engine. I love the V8 but times are moving on now brother.
Eddie from 🇨🇦: dude? Weres the Info on Horsepower? Who cares about the power windows😂
I mentioned horsepower in the first minute of the video. I never mentioned anything about the windows.

😢
Can you be more specific?
$60k lolol thats cheap
I'm sorry but $60k for a Mustang is not good value.
What should it cost?
@BrosFOURRSpeed These cars should be no more over $40k. Ford has decided to shove all this nonsense "tech" into these cars that people aren't asking for. It's a Mustang, it's meant to be raw, sporty, affordable. $60k is not affordable, it's absurd. Even at $40k, that's pushing the "affordability" of what Mustang should be.
@@coles.5228 people are buying them, so it’s not stopping people. You can always get a used one for much less.
