Miyoko's sounds amazing. I haven't yet had the pleasure but I'm looking forward to it! Austin? Go for it! Cesar wouldn't want to leave the birthplace of NADAMOO! Love the taste test videos! Thanks for all the expo videos and flying into a winter storm getting back to Sryacruse... I remember that day. 🌱💚
I need to try the lox, I would love that! I did try the Heidi Ho cheese spread because it was on sale but wasn't the biggest fan sadly. My Walmart had these new shredded pulled "pork" which I made a taco with and it was very good. Added some spices too! Seems like a wave of new products and I'm excited to get them.
If you haven't been to Balsam Bagels in Rochester, check out their vegan lox next time you're in town. They make it from carrots. They have several vegan cream cheese flavors, sides, soups, and baked goods.
Feel like this is a necessary warning, since I just bought the plain cream cheese for the first time. It is much more sour and tangy than I expected. It’s not bad, it just startled me. If you’re looking for a milder, sweeter cream cheese, this isn’t it. However, if I think of it as a sharper cheese spread, it is quite good!
Yesss... tried this brand since my normal brand wasn't available. Got it to go with some apple cinnamon bread I have and it was so bad!! I thought it would be a mild, more traditional cream cheese. It's very sharp. I'm going to try eating it with something else, because it's not necessarily bad, but bad for what I was expecting :(
I was self-employed for a number of years and it's very hard work. I loved working more hours than a regular work week because I was passionate about what I did. If you love your work, the hours fly by - sometimes. Self-employment is not for everyone, but it's the most rewarding "job" I ever had.

Miyoko totally deserves her success, she's been a leader in making veganism mainstream. She had a chicken companion years ago, how cool is that. Nice to hear your opinion of her cream cheese.
Bry Johnson, Thanks for the reply to Seitanic Girls question. I spotted Kite Hills plain cream cheese at Sprouts last week and was debating whether to try it or not. However, Miyoko’s had a great sale on their cream cheeses and I loaded up on them. When we’re out, I’ll try the Kite Hill brand. I have to say, though, that I recreated an almost spot-on copy-cat vegan version of my *Buffalo Crack & Cheese* recipe, using Miyoko’s cheddar cream cheese. A few years ago I had combined two of Chef Johns/Food Wishes recipes (Creamy Buffalo Dip and Thomas Jefferson’s Mac & Cheese) and tweeted a few things to our families taste buds for my original recipe. I’ve only been plant based for a little over a year now. That is one of the main recipes I’ve missed. It was soooo good to be able to enjoy this dish again- vegan style 🥰
Seitanic Girl. I tried Kite Hill onion and chive and it was pretty close to dairy cream cheese. I didn't try the plain, but I tried the plain Tofutti and it tasted just like dairy cream cheese...I was surprised!
~ My tip for Miyoko’s cheeses is removing the plastic seal (then replacing the lid) 24 hours before eating/using it in recipes. I don’t why doing this makes it taste more like the real thing, (At least, to me and our family), but, it does 🌱 🧀 ♥️ (I do this with all Miyoko’s cheeses) 😃
Fantastic video, never tried any of her products , hopefully soon. Love Cesars new channel. Chris your my favorite, keep the videos coming you are an inspiration to the vegan community.
it's already on the market. i've seen those for months at whole foods and nooch here in Denver. glad you guys taste tested em. i haven't tried them yet. i was hesitant because they are pricey and I really like the kate hil chive one.
The cream cheeses aren't on shelves yet. I just talked to her about it before I uploaded the video. The Roadhouse cheeses may be and you can get the other on her online store.
Started noticing myokos products at my local Wegmans in the past six months. Can't wait for these cream cheese spreads to appear on the shelf! Thank you for normalizing the vegan way. Living in Virginia where pigs and peanuts are major money makers, focusing on the vegan side of things tends to alienate one.
Thanks for the Miyokos coupon code. Recently ordered online what we couldn't get locally. Used the "Cheers to Cheddar" pub cheeze in a green chile pasta sauce. Divine! The code will help us gorge on even more tasty Miyokos cheeze. Also -- Phoenix needs rain, Chris. Are you interested in a trip to the desert?
I tried the miyoko cream cheese everything I liked that one, the miyoko oatmeal cream cheese was very greasy feeling did not taste like cream cheese. Now just waiting to buy the miyoko cashew plain cream cheese which I heard people loved it.
@Everywhere 4ever I did the cream cheese salsa plate thing to with chips!! The treeline cream cheese is good also. I have been making my own since these cream cheese are expensive and it is WAY CHEAPER making your own.
My boyfriend tried the plain and said it wasn't as sweet as regular cream cheese and almost tasted a little bit sour. But then he ate the entire bagel with this all over it. Then he ate a second one. He ate the cheddar cheese one and loved it. I told him they were vegan after he ate them.
Btw, I've been looking for nadamoo strawberry cheesecake & I can't find it. I've tried birthday cake & it was good. I've also purchased some rocky road but I haven't tried it yet.
Sounds great! I put myself in for an email when the vegan "lox" cream cheese is available. Btw you inspired me to get an air fryer today :) Are you going to be at veg fest DC in September?
I found out I’m pregnant and I absolutely love lox on my bagels but smoked fish is a no go for pregnancy 😢 I recently found out about Miyokos unlox vegan cream cheese and I cannot wait to try it out!

If you know a Miyokos sales reo, tell them to get into Market Basket. They can call the Dairy manager in Portsmouth to find out how to get to the right person.
I would say yes, it may be pricey, but it’s comparable to other vegan brands in terms of price. With respect to quality, Miyoko’s is in the upper echelon of vegan products.
I’m gonna be completely honest. I’ve only tried the lox, but it’s shite. And I’m so sad cuz I was so stoked for miyokos. I think I need to try something else. The flavor on the lox is just off. Way too much citrus, it makes your stomach churn. The consistency was perfect though. So maybe the other flavors will cut it.

There are two kinds of people: the ones who like a little cream cheese with their bread, and those who prefer a little bread with their cream cheese.
Cover whole cream cheese with vegan retried beans, microwave couple of minutes top with salsa guacamole etc, party starter for sure.
I tried the cream cheese on a vegan cruise I went on. It is so good!! been waiting for it to be in the stores

We also used to dump salsa on a mountain of cream cheese. Yum! Now I make my own since I can’t get Miyoko.
I never ate lox but loved the Un lox cheese. I put it on a toasted bagel and added capers.
My family does the salsa over cream cheese too

I will be vegan for 6 years in June 2018. Looking forward To eating Miyoko’s new creation.

I loved the cultured butter from Miyoko so I tried the un-lox cream cheese. I actually hated it...no similaeity whatsover to a lox- like taste.
Toni Benedict its seaweed extract and whatever sour stuff she puts in her stuff that's insanely over priced

Is it whipped cream cheese or regular cream cheese texture? Price point?
ArtsyGirlMarilyn I heard her brand is expensive so I wouldn't be suprised that it is.

You really should be trying the cream cheeses on (preferably everything) bagels, not bread. But love your videos.
I love her hard cheese cant wait for this to come out.
Sweet action Batman! I got first comment!! Can't wait to try them!!
I always make my non vegan friends try things so I know if they taste like the real thing because at this point my tastebuds don't remember

Who the fuck eats cream cheese on plain, untoasted bread? smh
adamaj watch it again. Turn the sound up when we bite into it. 4:10 crunch. It’s toasted.
Should have used a bagel like a normal person. Your bread to cheese ratio is wack! :P
That cream cheese is horrible. It. Shouldn’t even be called cream cheese.

Humans don't have to hurt or eat animals in 2018. It's all unnecessary. Does it make sense now?
