Love your videos I’m a police officer for the United state postal inspection service I love riding but not until I move to Florida did I realize the large number of our brother love to ride please keep safe and continue doing what you’re doing you been a big help for a lot of us god bless
First, I have your phone mount. 12" Yaffes on my 16 RGS mounted on the L thumb controls. At 80 mph she stays in place. It vibrates of course, but does not move. Great, excellent product. Well worth the money. Secondly, I caught part of the LEO motorcycle event in Destination Daytona a few years back. The agility and ability of you guys on fully geared baggers is mind blowingly impressive. Everyone that rides should check out a competition when they can. Much respect for you Ryan, and all LEO's for your service. TY.
Ryan thanks for the wall thru. I've been doing what you do for going on 16 years and when I first started watching your channel I had no idea you was a leo. I thought you was one of these hard core biker guys with tattoos. Never knew you was an instructor. You dont seem to have any arrogance about you like the ride like a pro guy. I watch and like his channel to. Most guy wouldn't have taken the time to show off their work bike. Stay safe
That's awesome Rodney!! Thx for the shout out...... a fellow LEO Motor Officer too.!! Very cool. Yah, bro, I'm just a normal guy that happens to be a LEO too. I'm just following my heart and soul and just really passionate about helping and connecting with the biker community out there. It's why I do what I do! Love breaking the barriers down....I'm definitely glad I don't come off arrogant, because that's the last thing I want to do.
I have all way loved the look of the police bikes. i was stationed in California when CHIPs was the hot TV program. I bought my first Harley from Palmdale Harley 1980 with 6 Air Force buddy we all got one, dealer gave us a deal. Well thank you very much for the tour. I love getting on you tube seeing the different bikes learn how to fix everything. Your like me, promote the Harley brand american made, you do a excellent job! Thanks
I enjoyed the tour of your work bike along with the many other bikes you show us and work on. As I'm sure you already know, motor officers have one of the most physically and mentally demanding jobs along with increased risk out of the many LEO jobs out there. Unfortunately, we all know the inherent dangers of traffic stops, especially when you don't have the cover of a cage. My hats off to you and your brothers for what you do. Be safe out there and thank you for your service.
I liked this video before I watched it...I want to re-like it please! Great job Ryan! And....Thank you for your service!!!! You and your force are the unsung heroes of this great country!!
Nice video! I’ve worked as a radio technician for 2 different State police agencies and a number of County police agencies installing and maintaining radios, lights, sirens etc on the vehicles including bikes. Yours is the first one I’ve seen with the long rifle mounted in a saddlebag!! All of the bikes I’ve worked on always had the long rifle mounted somewhere on the back of bike. Of course they were locked up but easy for the Officers to access when needed. Your setup is very interesting! Thanks again for the video and stay save out there!
Nice! I am not a police office but just bought a 1997 Electra Glide Milwaukee Police Department, FLHTPI bike. Always wanted a police bike. I replaced the engine temperature sensor and the bike now rides GREAT! Wish I could display the red and blue lights but I know that would not be smart.

Thanks for the look around your office. In the very rural area I live in in PA. you'll never see a motor cop. One again thanks for the look around. Im going to checkout your store. I like my bike clean and anything that's easier im willing to try some something the pros use.
As an owner of a retired FLHTP this was quite interesting... mine no longer looks or sounds much like a Police bike but I still love it. Can't wait until I put a radio in it LOL

Nice bike, and awesome video! Thank you for all you do, with the channel, the pod cast, and protecting your fellow citizen. It's cool to see what's in/on a police bike. Thank you for that! Look forward to the next video!
Ryan, very very impressive video. I have seen the Harley police bikes at our dealership, but have not had the tour of it and so this was great to see. Thank you for what you do and be safe!
Thanks, Ryan Answered questions I had. My Dad was a Motor officer when I was a kid first motorcycle I sat on was my Dad's 1974 Harley Police bike he even let me play with the lights and siren lol Love the content keep it coming.
Wish we had tougbooks when I motored been nice add on. We just got them in the latest but only in patrol cars. Us moto brothers still did the old paper way. Very nice service up, video and info. Thank You.
Thanks Popo, In Fla. we actually have a Trooper and a Tech. person who installs our equip. Sometimes the equip. works ,sometimes in doesn't. O h well , what ru going to do.:)
Great video! I'm a recent subscriber.... I bought a 2017 Electra Glide Ultra Classic last weekend (8/24) and your videos have given me tons of information, especially about the boombox. It's a bummer I can't upgrade to the new version!.... I'll live, though. Thanks for posting all the great videos and and I'll be hitting you up for the biker gripper and the Comm headset as soon as I get over the shock of spending a huge wad of cash last weekend.
The new ones have the 114, RDRS too. I've heard there is a surplus and if a civilian can get one it's a great deal (Jerry Palladino). The civilian EG has the shorter shocks, 107 and barely a seat. This should be the base EG.
Beavercreek Ohio (east of Dayton) recently put into service the EG Police. I wish we all had the multi units in cities like we did in the 1950's, because any bike in the rear view mirror could be a deterrent to a speeder!
I lie how you have yours set up! Quite handy and driver friendly! Keep your eyes open and moving and May God Keep you safe as you go about your duties. Many people dont realize jjst how dangerous your job can be. Stay cool and dont do anything i wouldnt !
Very informative thankyou from the uk , I have noticed your and other agencies use rectangular rear view mirrors but haven't seen them in the HD catalog
They came on the bike. I assume these are the mirrors that come on and electra glide. Ride safe & Ride Often! Any suggestions for a reasonably priced am/fm radio and speaker kit for 2014 and later FLHTP's and, or, E/Glide standards? I've seen one kit for 800 bucks but I'm talkin reasonable priced. On pre 2014 police bikes with the larger glove box and easy to get to speaker pods, I installed a radio and HOG tune speakers myself for less than 200 bucks.
@@RyanUrlacher I actually found such a kit here's the link /www.biketronics.com/standard-and-police-packages/ I just had this installed at Auto styles of Leesburg Fl. for a total OTD price $570.00 I'll include this info on my next youtube video
I know you said it's not exciting but as a first responder, what do you guys carry in your first-aid kits? Or better yet, what do you carry when you ride your civilian bike?
Amazing video! The police bikes around where I live actually have a mounted radar so I found it interesting that yours has the handheld laser. I wish our motors unit was bigger we currently only have two bikes
Great video Ryan. Thoroughly enjoyed it and learned some pretty cool stuff. You come out with some great videos. Please keep up the good work, we love this stuff. And you sold me on Bug slide! That stuff is amazing.
That would be a great idea. Yes, other agencies use different bikes. The most other popular bikes are Honda and BMW. Ride safe & Ride Often! Jonny Mac you’d like em cause they couldn’t catch you 😂. And I ride an 06 cbr1000rr. What’s wrong with pedal bikes though, it’s a completely different experience, I’d rather shred double black diamond downhill trails on my mountain bike than ride a Harley.
@@ericdmochowski6079 I ride many bikes, I ride a 2017 zx14R, a 1992 Harley Davidson FXR dyna superglide, a 2018 Harley Davidson Sportster Forty Eight, a 2004 Suzuki DR650 and a 2020 YZ125x, again....what is your point? Your life is boring if you think the only cool or fast bikes are Sport bikes. Fastest and best handling out of the box yes, they are a hell of a lot of fun, probably just as fun as all the other bikes but I don't knock what other people ride. I wave to Harleys on my sport bike, and scooters on my sport bike, and I will wave at both cruisers and sport bikes on my dual sport. It isn't a dick swinging competition😂 Half the guys that talk shit about Harleys being slow can't even ride the bikes they have. Peddle bikes are fun too, but not if they are your only transportation. The police Harley might not catch you (they aren't even allowed to chase someone that runs here were I live), but you can't out run the helicopter lol
Does the 107 have good passing power? Compared to the 114? Kind of a weird question considering the police bike needs to be able to pursue, but I was looking at a standard Road King and was thinking of getting either the 107 factory with it or upgrading the engine to the police model performance. Not sure what stage. I'm not going to upgrade the exhaustor air since the current police bikes have 114 with stock air and exhaust.
Hi Ryan. Former Firefighter here. Now living in Walla Walla. I saw that the Daytona Florida FD has Harley's that are paramedic rapid response units. Pretty cool! Get a hold of me if you come through Walla Walla. Would love to grab a cup of coffee and go on a ride. Love your videos! I also need some bug slide. Going to have to visit your store soon. Stay safe!
...setting here for the last few hours watching your videos, I've learned a lot. Watched your club rides, and meetups, and thought, you know that'd be nice. Yet, also setting here, going through the process of picking out my 'first' bike, a Harley. It would be nice to become a member of a club like yours, then only to realize that it"s what, police officers only? Yes, i know i can become a member as or through Patreon, but it's not the same. At 58, your never to old to get out there for that feeling that can only come through riding a Harley. Yet, it's also nice to belong. To belong to something that "is law abiding". After all, not everyone breaks the rules, some of us are hard working, honest, law abiding people that many pass each day and never take a second look at. Not to many clubs down in my neck of the woods. So, i'll go it alone. Yet, i'll have GOD our Father, a Harley, and the open road...and that is all i need. Thanks for the videos. ScottishxPride, Tx.
This was a neat video, thank you for sharing. Im pretty knew to the HD world and your videos are very fun and informative. Love watching your rides and meet ups. Thank you for sharing , have fun be safe.
Do they allow y’all to modify the exhaust on the police bikes? I live in Dallas Texas and they also have Harley-Davidson police bikes here and they allow their officers to install aftermarket exhaust as long as the officer pays for it hisself/herself.
Unfortunately my agency does not allow us to alter the exhaust. Ride safe & Ride Often! Awesome bike! I was actually planning on joining the WSP or ISP once I fully recover from my broken leg and get back into shape...with the hopes of becoming a motor officer. ☺️
Bought a ex-motor that was stripped down. The horn does not work. I assume that the "police" set-up used a siren horn not the whimpy HD stock horn. How do I rewire the HORN button to work the oem horn. Thanks
Is there no longer the round blue truck-lite license plate lights on either side of the license plates? Also, is the AR a std. A4? Or is there something special about the particular weapon? Or is it the mount itself that makes your AR fit in the bag? Out here in LA we still have the staight up and down holder which of course exposes the weapon to enviornment.
Thanks for sharing this info! I do have a question you didn't cover though, what windshield do you use. I have a 16 Limited with a stock windshield and I get buffeting. How is the screen on your work bike and do you recommend it? Looks like a Freedom Shield? Thanks and stay safe!
The windshield on my work bike is the stock electra glide standard shield. I run a Klockwerks on my personal bike: The windshield I’m running on my 2014 Street Glide Special is an 8.5” Klockwerks Flare-Tinted. Here is a direct affiliate link to that product. ==> bit.ly/2Xzhvcj
Nice Video, Ryan I enjoyed the tour of your work bike, I would love to become a patron supporter , but at this time funds a very, very limited after buying my 2014 ultra Limited, and a 2014 jeep Grand Cherokee. this year. Maybe in 2020 I can . Thanks for taking your busy time to make all the great Videos..

Awesome tour, Ryan! Thanks. I sure like my 04 RK Police. Retired OKC PD escort bike, so very few miles.
👍
Thanks for the tour be safe and God Bless. Thank you for your service.
Thanks brother, nine years ex military and 20 years ex police officer and Harley rider,, love your channel, take care from Oz, cheers
I saw two people get pulled over by two motorcycle cops and it made me wanna look up a vid about the bikes. Thanks for the info.
U betcha!!
Ryan great vlog it’s a good thing to show the public what the job is about and the equipment that is needed to do the job. Be Safe Be Cool and Ride Safe🇺🇸🏍
Thx Peter.
I have a 2014 street glide with the same color just like yours. Also just ordered the phone mount. Can’t wait to get it! Great video!
l enjoy riding my electra glide great bike.Thank you for your service Ryan.
I had a 2003 FXDP POLICE DEFENDER ...ONE OF THE BEST BIKES I EVER OWNED
Thanks for the look around your office. In the very rural area I live in in PA. you'll never see a motor cop. One again thanks for the look around. Im going to checkout your store. I like my bike clean and anything that's easier im willing to try some something the pros use.
Rock on! No, the other guys on the unit don't ride off duty at all. One guy did, but he just retired.
As an owner of a retired FLHTP this was quite interesting... mine no longer looks or sounds much like a Police bike but I still love it. Can't wait until I put a radio in it LOL
Awesome!!
Cool. I've got an 87 and an 11 police bike...also an outlaw Softtail Springer..
Great overview…I’m considering picking up a FHLTP and was wondering how a true police bike is outfitted. Thanks for all you do!
Badass Ryan thank you for your service and sacrifices.
Thank you! I appreciate it.

Fkn always been BMW Honda's in Oz.. apparently they just don't cut the mustard..But I love the big Glides.
Thanks, Ryan Answered questions I had. My Dad was a Motor officer when I was a kid first motorcycle I sat on was my Dad's 1974 Harley Police bike he even let me play with the lights and siren lol Love the content keep it coming.
That's sooooo cool. 1974.....wow, that'd be cool to have that bike!!
Thank you for your services! A lot of respect for blues!
Much appreciated!
You have a beautiful bike brother thank you for keeping us safe god bless you and 🇺🇸
Thanks much!!
Love the bike, Officer Urlacher!! Thank you for what you do day in day out!! God bless you!! Be safe!!
TY. 👌
Very cool! Thank you for your service I have a 2002 FLHTP ex police . Todd the retired trucker.
h well , what ru going to do.:)
Martin Cvitkovich i live in Kettering
I lie how you have yours set up! Quite handy and driver friendly! Keep your eyes open and moving and May God Keep you safe as you go about your duties. Many people dont realize jjst how dangerous your job can be. Stay cool and dont do anything i wouldnt !
Very informative thankyou from the uk , I have noticed your and other agencies use rectangular rear view mirrors but haven't seen them in the HD catalog
They came on the bike. I assume these are the mirrors that come on and electra glide.

Thanks for the tour, very cool. As always thank you for your service! Thanks for keeping the mean streets of Yakima safer!
Rock on Bob!!!!!! U da man
Thanks for showing your bike, it was interesting, thank you for what you do as a LEO!
My pleasure!
What a beauty bike mate. Thanks for the video.
Don’t pull me over !! I’m a subscriber 🤣🤣🤣
Hahahahah. All good. 😂
Sorry for the delay. No, I don’t have a reasonably priced solution. Hit me up if you find one you like!
@@RyanUrlacher I actually found such a kit here's the link /www.biketronics.com/standard-and-police-packages/ I just had this installed at Auto styles of Leesburg Fl. for a total OTD price $570.00 I'll include this info on my next youtube video
Yah. Cool. Test that baby good. Let me know if it stands up and is with it.
Nicely outfitted motor. Very sharp.
Rock on!!
I know you said it's not exciting but as a first responder, what do you guys carry in your first-aid kits? Or better yet, what do you carry when you ride your civilian bike?
Interesting!! Thanks for showing us your work scoot!!
U betcha
The Milwaukee Wl and Wisconsin state trooper bike have a full size Harley tour pack on them and it slid forward for a operator backrest
yes, that is a version. I've seen it.
Very cool Burt! Thx for the shout out!
Great video. Umm how about a solar panel on the trunk to help charge the computer/battery?
Do any US police use anything but Harley’s?
That would be a great idea. Yes, other agencies use different bikes. The most other popular bikes are Honda and BMW.

I miss riding for work. Wasn't really work. Never felt more productive and rewarded..... still prefer the intapol half helmet....
Nice bike had 2 my self at one time thats why i pick up the new standard glide this past month no radio etc etc l
Thanks for the video. You can really ride that bike brother. Mad skills
Even when I was a young shit disturber, I always loved Harley Davidson Police bikes!
Cause they are slow? 😂
@@ericdmochowski6079 yah most stock Harleys aren't fast. What's your point? You probably ride a peddle bike lol
I would love to have your job! I can usually ride my Harley every day, just not all day 😞
Thanks for showing...stay safe sir...
Thank you.
Always wondered, especially about the motor, now I know. Very interesting...thanks
omg what an amazing video....i am crying for an audio clip of the start up though.....bravo sir....awesome video
Thanks so much!!
Stay safe!
Awesome!! Thx
Does the stock Electra glide have the same turning radius as the police bike? I "aspire" to complete some of those cone drills on my Ultra.
I'd love to see you on live PD!!
...setting here for the last few hours watching your videos, I've learned a lot.
Great vid, thank you so much man for keeping us safe, I'd love to find one of those Harley's used to buy.
Thanks for the shout out.
At least some parts of your job are pretty good. Hopefully those good parts make up for the bad parts. Great video, thanks for posting.
i didn't know you are a police officer thank you for your service to your community be safe out there
Sweet set up. I would like the rifle in my saddlebag 👍👍😎😎
This was a neat video, thank you for sharing. Im pretty knew to the HD world and your videos are very fun and informative. Love watching your rides and meet ups. Thank you for sharing , have fun be safe.
I really enjoy your videos. You seem like a down to earth kida guy.. thanks for all the information.. much respect sir
TY Chuck!
Awesome bike man! Does Harley make that lightbar? Do they make all of the lights on your bike?
Hey Ryan I have a turbo where your siren is but I would gladly swap my harley for yours. Love your concert ticket printer lol
👍
Very interesting. We in New Zealand no longer have bikes in the force which is a pity.
Oh no, that sucks!

Awesome bike! I was actually planning on joining the WSP or ISP once I fully recover from my broken leg and get back into shape...with the hopes of becoming a motor officer. ☺️
That is a very cool goal!! Just awesome attitude!!
Bought a ex-motor that was stripped down. The horn does not work. I assume that the "police" set-up used a siren horn not the whimpy HD stock horn. How do I rewire the HORN button to work the oem horn. Thanks
In the winter, do you add a side car to help get around in wet/slushy roads?
That'd be cool!!
Understandable. Ride safe!!
@@RyanUrlacher I did manage to buy your biker griper and a tee shirt and a lawabidingbiker patch , should be here in a few days . thanks again.
The Biker griper works great, even having a wrap cover on the phone it stay's in place.
Such a classy design!
Such a great video awesome! thank you for sharing your office with us and it comes with the best ever changing view stay safe out there officer 👮♀️
well done and informative! Thank you, Doug
Does Harley make these bikes themselves or do they outsource it to another company like police cars?
Very cool to see you are LE!
